If you don’t want your fresh mozzarella to burn like that, add it just 5 minutes before you remove it from the oven. 😉 Also, you shouldn’t ever blend your tomatoes. The seeds make the sauce bitter when they’re broken up. Instead you can have fun squishing them with your hands.
Nikki was part of last year's layoffs. However, BF has always been open to working with former employees. It wasn't like they wanted to fire people, they just didn't make budget projections.
Gotta love yeast ! Nature's little bacterial wonder ! And the smell your smelling is called 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline which also gives rice and breads their signature scent and taste.
@@kaelynsung8227 the dude isn't talking about the crust. The dude's talking about the bottom of the pizza. I still really like Chicago style though, even though it ain't a pizza.
If you make Chicago style deep dish pizza right, it definitely shouldn't be soggy - the cheese should melt and act to seal off the crust from excess moisture. Additionally, higher moisture ingredients like toppings and sauce are put on top so more water evaporates.
That's exactly what I thought. Was it really just tomatoes and salt? Did I miss something else? No garlic? No oregano? No parsley? She didn't even heat them up until the whole pizza got baked!
Yeah, what about roasting some onion and garlic and adding herbs and letting it cook so it gets sweeter... Blending tomatoes and salt seems really weird...
“The reason we don’t need to use sticks is because we have spoons.” The spoon you where using was made of sticks. Lol By the way, Nicki, you are awesome and funny
I got another hacks for making pizza: first mix fresh yeast with sugar, in couple of minutes it starts to dissolve. Then add warm water and flour, don't mix! Wait till it starts bubbling, then add olive, salt and spices, work the dough, leave in warm place for 1 hour and then bake. It also works for sweet bread and yeast cakes! I hope it helps :)
my cooking hack for reheating pizza is to put it in the oven on a high heat upside down (toppings down on the pizza tray) then once the base is a little crisper then turn the slices back over toppings up, hopefully they haven't all fallen off as the cheese binds them, and the whole pizza comes out super crispy and cheese all goey at same time
Best way to reheat pizza is in a pan with some oil, cool the bottom so it’s nice and crispy again then flip it over and sear the cheese and toppings. This warms the top AND ands some extra crunch and flavor. Works well with pepperoni pizza since the pepperoni is extra crisp and taste better than it did originally
WOW it looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for always sharing great recipes that are easy to follow and delicious. You have inspired me to start my own channel. Have a great day🌷
the semolina hack to put under the pizza is alright but youre suppose to put a light dusting on it instead of a ton, so that way you dont get too much on it. plus when transferring the pizza, some of it can be brushed off when doing so.
Hack 15 is actually great in my experience. I use a toastie maker instead of a waffle iron and it works perfectly- the inside of the pizza is hot throughout, the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. And it only takes two minutes! I wouldn’t reheat pizza any other way :D
In a recent study, pizza was ranked as the food most associated with symptoms of addiction, according to the Yale Food Addiction Scale, a tool that assesses the diagnostic criteria for substance-use disorders in reference to highly processed foods.👍
I totally thought this was going to be a different video. like fast ways to get pizza without actually making pizza. My favorite is using a small tortilla like fajita style.. sauce, cheese. right on the rack, 10 mins at 400. usually use a toaster oven so dont have to wait for oven to heat up :)
I made pizza using semolina flour because I did not have all purpose flour and it was the same taste I was surprised if you don't have all purpose flour try using semolina flour and it has the same taste who agree like
for heating up the pizza, the Nonna in our pizzaria recommanded to preheat the oven at 210°C (410°F) and then just put the pizza in there for 1min30. pizza will get hot and delicious without drying out too much
You can make the sauce right in the can saves time and cleanup and put basil in that sauce or get tomatoes preferably San Marzano with basil already in t.
Things I would alter about these hacks: Instead of using a cutting board if you don't have a pizza peal, just make your pizza on a piece of parchment paper and bake it on that. It's easy to transport and doesn't dirty another dish. To reheat your pizza, use a skillet, not a waffle iron. It won't squish your pizza and it would be just as fast. It keeps the bottom nice and crispy and the crust doesn't get chewy like it does in the microwave.
A hack that wasn't mentioned, if your pizza was kept in the fridge and you wanna eat it hot again microwave it with a mug of water kept beside the pizza .. it helps pizza gain bag that softness or something.. ah a friend told me this
I like to reheat pizza in our toaster oven using the pan. It makes it nice and crispy as opposed to heating it in the microwave which makes it soggy. (I'm talking about reheating after being frozen.)
Pizza Hack: for a richer flavor use mozzarella and cheddar. Pizza Hack 2: cook the dough for a minute or two before adding toppings. Pizza Hack 3: make it sicillian style by putting the cheese on before anything else to avoid soggy pizza. These are all things I do when I make pizza and it turns out perfect every time, so enjoy.
