I first stepped inside Tony's Baltimore Grill sometime during my freshman year at Stockton State College which would've been in late '78 or the first half of '79. Besides installing the breezeway in the main dining area a very long time ago not much has changed at Tony's since my first visit as the floor tiles, the booths, the ceiling, etc are exactly the same which gives the place a comforting, nostalgic vibe for anyone who has been going there for decades. I haven't been there for at least five years and since the new owners took over the reviews have been all over the place so I'm not sure what to believe at this point until I get my butt in there to experience it firsthand. I live in Absecon so I only go to Tony's during the winter on a Monday night so I can find a spot in their small parking lot. In the past my wife and I would always order two of their frozen pizzas to-go after we had finished our meal. Tony's is such an institution in AC. Thanks for the review.
This place looks great, I will be trying it. The bar area looked a little small, I prefer where you sat in the main dining area. I'll probably get at least 5 beers. Cheers!
Same bar stools for 50 years at least. Best bar pie, huge portions, (oh the Ritz, the lobby is right out of the prohibition era.Capone and Lucky stayed there.) tabe juke box, Hot roast beef is perfect and huge.
This place looks like a great place to go when we come in to AC. The only thing is I am not sure how safe it is to walk behind the Tropicana at night. We took the jitney once at night in the area and it looked kind of seedy.
I'm comfortable going but my advice is to never go anywhere you feel uncomfortable, you can't enjoy something that way. If you want, think about going during the daytime! Thanks for watching and subscribing Debbie!
Many have told me to order the spaghetti and meatballs. I guess I'll have to ask for some meatballs and sausage now! Thanks for watching and subscribing Paul!
I think I do, too, but I'm not sure. I don't buy enough of either to be certain. Last year, I bought one of the most beautiful donuts at Krispy Kreme and it was almost $3.00 and I thought it was just okay. I'm pretty sure I like Dunkin's glazed better than Krispy Kreme's glazed
@@richardhales92 Green Bay had a Krispy Kreme years ago and they lasted less than a year and went out of business due to a lack of customers. but we still have our Dunkin Donuts. however, they are struggling.
Do you have a twin brother? I've eaten there. The minestrone is from a can, very disappointing, the weak coffee is served in a styrofoam cup. Who uses styrofoam? The pizza was better than mediocre, that's about it. The staff is nice. Once was enough for me.
Since the new owners took over I've read quite a few mixed reviews which broke my heart since I've been going there very occasionally since the late 70's. Their pizza has always been outstanding and that includes the last time I was in there over five years ago. I always would get either a pizza, the fried shrimp platter, or ravioli and meatballs so I never branched out too much to try other items on their menu. I gotta get back this winter to see if their pizza is still good or fallen off the map since the new owners took over. The place has a sentimental attachment for many of us who have been going there for nearly fifty years. I'm hoping I'm not severely disappointed.

You can see him walking the one block from the Tropicana, ain't nothing "seedy" about that one block lol!
I’ve been there too many times to count. The menu was bigger before Covid. But they still have a decent menu and the food is good and cheap.
Thanks for watching and subscribing!

Too expensive and whats with the sliced tomatoes on it. I make my own pizza regularly. I was curious about the seafood. Happy hour looks worth it.
Yes the happy hour menu looks really good! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
