In this video, Dan and I talk about the steps we take when hunting for deer once we've identified a spot with excellent buck sign. Dan talks about how he sets up for different ground hunting scenarios and I go through the steps I take once I find a good deer hunting spot for tree stand hunting or saddle hunting.
Every time you scout and find deer sign you should follow specific steps to get you ready to hunt that location for hill country bucks on public land. This is what we do for ground hunting, saddle hunting, and treestand hunting. This is how to hunt deer in hilly terrain or mountains in the eastern part of the country.

@@theeverydaybowhunter ...I got a flat over a mile back. Tried carrying summit e bike bow and pack...it sucked lol fortunately a truck came to help after 4-500 yds. Those create a good barrier between the tube and tire. I'm adding them this year. I had flat out in my tires and it still went flat unfortunately. Good luck this season!
