The MW2 2022 reloads are way more fast and agressive (by this i mean the way they cock the gun by hitting it with their hands when in old mw2 the character just taps the gun instead of hitting it)

The mw2 reboot sounds more realistic but the reload sounds from OG mw2 is just so crisp
They can fix that easy, just throw an EQ, Compressor, and a noise gate on that sound and it could sound the same
They literally put multiple microphone next to people reloading and shooting weapons for the new game. If you actually think og mw2 sounds better then you've never heard what a real reload sounds like.

@@WadeGoku guns don't have this much recoil in real life, once you start shooting in this game you literally can't see anything though iron sights due to all the smoke and bs cluttering the screen. In real life none of this weird fake recoil occurs.

Not gonna let nostalgia blind me. As much as I love the original 2009 game, the 2022 MWII is far better in terms of animated quality and sound design. Just a testament to how much video games have evolved in the past decade.
Yeah all that is well and good but it really doesn’t matter if the game play is shit. As Mw2019 was. Just bc there are good graphics and good sound and animations that’s ain’t shit. Gameplay is where it’s at. Me personally i don’t give a flying fuck about how my game looks as long as it’s fun then we’re good

I love how casual and fluid the original reload animations are. Like they’ve done it a million times and their comfort and familiarity with their gun couldn’t be greater.

Big step back in terms of music and not having real gun names, but the guns feel pretty good.
It's obviously better realism but in a game the sounds should be pleasing on your ears above all else. Apex legends and Titanfall 2 did this really well and same with modern warfare 2008
@@bigza5097 Apex Legends and Titanfall 2 are futuristic games. They aren't obligated to realism. MW as a series, although doesn't have realistic gameplay, should respect the engineering behind the real guns.
Still doesn't make MW 2022 is a good game, the game trash upon trash and comes nowhere near to OG MW2 greatness.

The OG wins based on firing sound alone.I don’t know how to describe it tbh. The guns sound like they’re firing just chunks of metal instead of bullets and I love it

@R i dont know If you're saying about animations, but i suppose you're saying about it, If that's the case, yes It already happened on MW2019 beta, some gun animations was a little bit modified between the Full release and the beta, you can tell by comparing m4 reload(partial) from beta and Full release, not much different but still(you need to really pay attention but you can repare that the full release m4's partial reload is punchier than beta's one)

MW2 was great when it came out and still stands proudly but compared to a modern game like MW2 2022, it gets stomped on. MW2 2022 has way more attachments, detail, better animations, better graphics. Nostalgia is the only thing that it lacks since it’s obviously new, but that really doesn’t matter in this scenario.
Ight I'll let you use the best setup on M4 on MWII and I'll use a base mw2 M4 with stopping power good luck. MW 2022 has graphics and sound but that's it

You’re talking about 2 completely separate games with completely different mechanics and a vast difference in speed. It doesn’t matter what mw2 2009 brings to the table or m2 2022 does either, it’s what the design quality of the games are and how it changed over the years. So why does it matter what guns are better or not, when they are, in theory, the exact same gun?
The OG had so much character and atmosphere, that's why the nostalgia is strong.

The old MW2 had the thought of "these guns are loud as shit" when making the sounds. and they are loud so It does match up, they did God tier for their day and age

Og MW2 still holds up really well.
Even loving the OG MW2 dearly it's no contest, the animations in the newer games get even the tiny details right like the magazine catch on the M4 protrudes slightly as the magazine is inserted and then snaps into its slot on the magazine once fully inserted, and the bolt release actually has an animated movement when finishing the reload instead of just doing the motion in the older MW2.
the older game got a lot of the reload animations as right as they could at the time, but they didn't have the ability to animate the tiny details that actually make it "feel" real.
The only thing the new one got noticeably wrong is the MP5 reload, the MP5 as configured for military use has a paddle release that OG MW2 actually got right. New MW2 intentionally fudged minor things on most weapons for legal reasons.
also, on some weapons, the operator fails the reload (like missing the mag well)
The recoil difference is crazy and that og m4 sound and look is so iconic omgggg
