"When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” (Mark 2:5-7)
To answer the scribes’ question: No one can forgive all of a person’s sins except God. So, is Jesus blaspheming? Or is Jesus God? Surely, the writer of this Gospel, Mark, is insinuating that Jesus is, in fact, God, rather than a blasphemer! No?

@2Peter3-18 the father eternally "generates" his will to the son. the son does not have a distinct will in orthodox triniarianism. the father and the son are able to be distinct persons with genuine interactions (their love for eachother is to be taken literally) while sharing the same will, being cosubstancial.

"Then [Jesus] said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see My hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and My God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me?” (John 10:27-29)
There are other situations like this in the New Testament, where for example, a person worships Peter (see Acts 10:25-26), and Peter tells him, “Stand up; I too am a man.” Jesus makes no such correction, but instead affirms the man’s faith (and, in essence) his worship. Clearly, in the Bible, Christian worship is reserved exclusively for God. Therefore Jesus is God. Rhe Eternally Existing Son of God. God The Son Who has always been amd will always be equal with God.

The divinity and humanity of Jesus are inseparable aspects of the Gospel. If Jesus were merely a man, He couldn't atone for our sins. If He were merely God, He couldn't represent us as our high priest. It is because He is both fully God and fully man that He could bridge the gap between us and God, offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Hebrews 1:1-3 are some verses to look at as well.

Do you have a single verse that says “God man” or that Jesus was “fully God and fully man”?
You said “If Jesus was merely a man, he couldn’t atone for our sins.”
Well 1 Corinthians 15:21-23 says otherwise: “For since by MAN came death, by MAN came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The word was made flesh (made known) as God has chosen to fully reveal himself through Jesus Christ/his word (Hebrews 1:2). That still doesn’t make Jesus Christ God Almighty. And we as members of Christ’s body have the word of God dwelling within us.

In 1 Timothy 3:16, the Greek word for “Manifest” is “Phaneroo” which can mean “to become or made known”. God was made known to us through his Son Jesus Christ which is also stated in Hebrews 1:2.
As for Colossians 2:9, what does the word “Godhead” mean? If you read the very next verse, it says that Jesus “is the head of all principality and power” because God GAVE Jesus all power in heaven and in earth. (Matthew 28:18)
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” -Ephesians 1:19-23

"This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him because not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself EQUAL with God." (John 5:18)
Here is evidence that Jesus Himself claimed to be God (or that his enemies misunderstood him). However, the apostle John does not try to correct this misunderstanding. He seems instead to affirm that this is the reason His enemies wanted to kill him (and they were right in this matter - not to kill him, but that He was claiming to be God.)

@@SalvationIsEasy-op2qs What do you think the word “equal” means here? What is the context of what John is communicating?
Throughout the book of John, God “sent” Jesus. Jesus was an agent from God who didn’t come on his own authority but received it from God (like an ambassador or power of attorney when it comes to representing someone).
I am equal in age with one of my best friends but that doesn’t mean we are the same being. Jesus wasn’t claiming to be the same essence of God but having an equality in authority which was given to him by God. Jesus, on many occasions, claimed to be God. In one particular instance, Jesus Himself forgives a paralytic's sins. Some of the Scribes perceived such a statement/action to be blasphemous since only God can forgive sins:
"When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
To answer the scribes’ question, no one can forgive all of a person’s sins except God.
The reader is, therefore, left with a decision: Is Jesus blaspheming?
    Or is Jesus God?
Surely, the writer of this Gospel, John Mark, is insinuating that Jesus is, in fact, God, rather than a blasphemer!
To be IMMEDIATELY, PERMANENTLY and ETERNALLY saved, one must believe in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. One must place their personal faith in The Jesus of The Bible (Who is The Eternally Existing Son of God) & His finished redemptive work on The Cross alone (i.e., His substitutionary death, burial and ressurection).
That's exactly what the Bible teaches... 🙏

I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast WEARIED ME with thine iniquities.25 I, EVEN I, AM HE THAT BLOTTETH OUT THY TRANSGRESSIONS for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.26 PUT ME IN REMEMBRANCE: LET US PLEAD TOGETHER: declare thou, THAT THOU MAYEST BE JUSTIFIED.27 Thy first father hath sinned, and THY TEACHERS HAVE TRANSGRESSED AGAINST ME.28 Therefore I HAVE PROFANED THE PRINCES OF THE SANCTUARY, and have GIVEN JACOB TO THE CURSE, and ISRAEL TO REPROACHES (As He will with all who persist in UNBELIEF, who are wise in their own eyes, who worship ANOTHER jesus, receive ANOTHER spirit, and preach ANOTHER Gospel, though it be not another, but they TROUBLE you).
You keep saying that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for your sins, but you have ANOTHER JESUS, because your jesus is not God.
    2 Corinthians 11:
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
    Galatians 1:
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
    Romans 16:
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Not believing in the “Trinitarian” doctrine is not what Paul was referring to when he said to “Mark and Avoid” or to “Let them be accursed”. Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, etc never taught the Trinity or that God was triune in nature.
Every time in the opening of Paul’s letters, he says “God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. Where is the Holy Spirit? You would think this would be a revolutionary teaching for the church as the Gentiles knew nothing of the OT.
Do you think Israel was waiting for a “God man” to come be their Messiah or a “man” based on the Genesis 3:15 prophesy and being the seed of Abraham and David?
I grew up only knowing the Trinity doctrine. But the scriptures makes much more sense when we see that there is one God, the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6, John 17:3) AND one Lord/Messiah Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is just God’s power in us and the way he operates throughout time since God is spirit (John 4:24).

First off, I really appreciate you responding with gentleness. Yes, his name means “God is with us”. God was in Christ therefore God was with Israel. Just like in Genesis 26:3 when God was with Isaac or Exodus 3:12 when God was with Moses. Jesus is the King of Israel (son of Abraham, son of David).
As for John 10:18, Jesus received the commandment from God. Just like we received the commandment in 1 John 3:23 to believe on the Son and love one another. Also, the word “take” in John 10:17 and John 10:18 is the Greek word “Lambano” which means to receive and is translated correctly at the end of verse 18.
Jesus trusted God from the scriptures that if he laid his life down for the sheep, God would raise him from dead, exalt him to his own right hand and have him sit on the throne of David.

Good morning brother, I'm still not convinced, the more I search the more it is revealed to me that God is Jesus Christ, I do not wish to upset you but reason.
Isa 45 v 18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
We know that all things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
      Remember Philip?
John 14 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Isa 9 v 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Why do we worship Jesus Christ if He is not God?
I too believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for my sins and rose again from the dead, I know His blood has cleansed us and bought us.
This is highly confusing, as now scriptures are contradicticting themselves?
We know God has not given us confusion but soundness.
So, I know God is spirit, because Jesus told us and Jesus had to come to earth through a vigin birth, no man blood just Gods miraculous conception to mary, to condemn sin and death in the flesh.
So who do I pray to then?
Do we separate them all and have 3 God's?
Deut 6 v 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
I see where you are coming from
I don't want to upset you, this is just serious

@ I see it from a different lens. For many years, the doctrine of the “Trinity” made zero sense to me but seeing that there is One God, the Father AND One Lord/Messiah, Jesus Christ makes sense to me.
“There is ONE body, and ONE spirit, even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling; ONE Lord (Jesus Christ), ONE faith, ONE baptism (in the Holy Spirit, not water), ONE God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” -Ephesians 4:4-6
“But to us there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by (through) whom are all things, and we by (through) him.” -1 Corinthians 8:6
God is spirit (John 4:24) and he is in Christ and in us.
Do you see a pattern with the opening of all of Paul’s letters?
“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -1 Corinthians 1:3
“Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Corinthians 1:2
“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ” -Galatians 1:3
“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -Ephesians 1:2
“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -Philippians 1:2
“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” -Colossians 1:2
“Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ” -1 Thessalonians 1:2
“Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Thessalonians 1:2
Notice how there is no mention of the Holy Spirit in any of these verses?
      As for praying/giving thanks…
“I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all” -Romans 1:8
“I thank my God always on your behalf” -1 Corinthians 1:4
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Corinthians 1:3
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” -Ephesians 1:3
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” -Philippians 1:3
“Giving thanks unto the Father” -Colossians 1:12
“We give thanks to God always for you all” -1 Thessalonians 1:2
“We are bound to thank God always for you brethren” -2 Thessalonians 1:3
Jesus also said in Matthew 6:9 and Luke 11:2 to pray to the Father. We have the same Father as Jesus Christ. With that said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with thanking Jesus for what he did for us.
The same spirit that was in Christ during his ministry and raised Jesus from the dead is the same spirit in every member of the body of Christ!

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” -Romans 8:29-30
We also see this in Ephesians 3:2-12 with the mystery of Christ and his body.

Something kind of funny and ironic is Jesus has led me to “mark and avoid” that whole “mark and avoid” crowd. Sometimes it’s not about who has correct doctrine but who has a good attitude and humility.
One of the coolest things about walking with Christ and learning from Him is that you become your own person who is sensitive to His heart who doesn’t think and talk like everyone else. You learn how to *actually* have grace and build others up and build Christ up without tearing others down and pointing out their flaws publicly in the name of “edification”. Even at times when I am wrong in my doctrine, when I am humble and have a heart for the truth, Jesus corrects me eventually.
I was thinking of the scripture where Jesus says ‘you search the scriptures because you think they have life but you refuse to come to me for life”… I believe this means that we can read the scriptures but without direct understanding that comes from God it could lead us in all kinds of directions. Thats why there are so many doctrines. That’s why a relationship with God is important. To know Him. To learn from Him. To seek the Person the scriptures point to. To ask Him to explain the scriptures to us. To not stop until we get an answer from Him. I always ask Him to talk to me like I’m 5. To keep it simple.

@@tatianainchrist You make a lot of great points here. Not a single believer has 100% correct doctrine but for me, it’s all about the Gospel (which I don’t believe the Trinity doctrine has anything to do with). Everyone within the body of Christ agrees that Jesus is the Son of God (Messiah, Anointed One).
I do mention Marking and Avoiding a handful of times throughout my channel, but that’s mainly in reference to those who are bringing a works based Gospel which can interfere with one’s assurance and confidence as to who they are in Christ and what they have been freely given. I do believe there is a difference between a brother or sister who is just in error because of who they have made listening to versus an actual wolf in sheep’s clothing who is out to spy out our liberty in Christ and bring bondage to the saints.
The Christian walk is all about looking to Christ and his finished work and growing in this new truth/reality that we are children of God (Galatians 3:26), are children of light (1 Thessalonians 5:5), have peace with God (Romans 5:1), are co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), are complete in him (Colossians 2:10), have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) and our life is hidden in Christ at the right hand of God in the heavenly places (Colossians 3:1-3).

@ as a not so new believer for awhile I thought Paul was a false apostle… thank God I didn’t bring it up on UA-cam, I would have been stoned and crucified. I had a humble heart though and was always seeking truth, eventually Jesus corrected me.
He taught me to never tear down others for their doctrine… I read thru your comment section and see believers calling others “reprobates” while at the same time posting on their own channels how much they love God and to have mercy on others. Like give me a break.
The way we treat others is the way we treat Jesus. The way we speak to others is very important to God.
For so long I wanted to fellowship with that crowd that all encourage each other in Christ, but Jesus would never let me. I always felt Him saying “no”… then I would see them making posts about marking and avoiding others and posting publicly comments of people they didn’t agree with, speaking badly of them, like they know so much, and I realized why Jesus always gave me a “no”…
I do know that when we seek God for the truth He will lead us to all truth.
I’d rather seek God for myself and even if I’m wrong for awhile I know He will correct me, rather than follow the teachings of others and sound like them.
Sorry for my rant. Like I said this is the first video of your that I have seen… just reading thru your comments made me really upset:

@@tatianainchrist Thank you for sharing this. I was hesitant to make a video bringing up the Trinity on my channel as I have seen in my personal life just how much division it can bring.
