Something kind of funny and ironic is Jesus has led me to “mark and avoid” that whole “mark and avoid” crowd. Sometimes it’s not about who has correct doctrine but who has a good attitude and humility. One of the coolest things about walking with Christ and learning from Him is that you become your own person who is sensitive to His heart who doesn’t think and talk like everyone else. You learn how to *actually* have grace and build others up and build Christ up without tearing others down and pointing out their flaws publicly in the name of “edification”. Even at times when I am wrong in my doctrine, when I am humble and have a heart for the truth, Jesus corrects me eventually. I was thinking of the scripture where Jesus says ‘you search the scriptures because you think they have life but you refuse to come to me for life”… I believe this means that we can read the scriptures but without direct understanding that comes from God it could lead us in all kinds of directions. Thats why there are so many doctrines. That’s why a relationship with God is important. To know Him. To learn from Him. To seek the Person the scriptures point to. To ask Him to explain the scriptures to us. To not stop until we get an answer from Him. I always ask Him to talk to me like I’m 5. To keep it simple.

Hi while I don’t agree with your view, I also think it’s horrible that some people come at you rudely with no Grace and with a know-it-all attitude. I think knowing who Jesus is comes thru prayerful reading the scriptures *and* revelation from asking Jesus to show us who He is. God bless you in your search to know Him, I pray you grow in wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of Him. 🙏🏼❤️

Also sharing that my understanding of who Christ is has changed and grown over time the more I understand and seek Him. He has become even more glorious to me ❤ All that “mark and avoid” attitude of talking AT someone always makes me angry when I see it… instead of talking TO someone and just having a conversation instead of a debate. This is the first video I have watched of yours and I just got upset reading the comments and peoples attitude.

@@TheGospelsSaveJesus was SENT (same concept as my Dad sending me to the grocery store to get items for him) by his Father (the same Father as members of Christ’s body John 20:17) to do God’s will (preach life through his name, lay his life down for the sheep and as a result, he would be seated at the Father’s right hand in the heavenly places) which was laid out in the OT scriptures. As Jesus got older, he “became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom” (Luke 2:40) and he “increased in wisdom and stature” (Luke 2:52).

@ Jesus Christ is the promised seed of David, Abraham, and the woman. From their perspective, he was the future Messiah who was to be born/come into the world through their lineage. They didn’t know his name was going to be Jesus but they knew that he would one day come and fulfill all the promises made from God Almighty.

jesus was externally tempted but he was not internally tempted meaning pursuaded into disobeying the will of god whatsoever. i think the approach you need to take is to not try to compare the nature of god to anything created. also in general the unitarianism vs trinitarianism debate in the light of scripture has been "done to death" in the past millenia, there's nothing to further argue. anything you can respond with has already been addressed before.

More thoughts to chew on: (Phillipians 2:5-11) Jesus being the Very Nature God (NIV, but see KJV & Greek for key word) had Equality with God before incarnation. (Matthew 22:41-45) My Lord said to My Lord. (Matthew 26:53-54) Send angels from on High. (Luke 8:28-31) Legion recognizes Jesus and has power to send them to the abyss. (Daniel 7:13-14) The appearance of Son of Man who is given all things for his Sacrifice. As I've heard, the word in all caps Lord in Hebrew is God's placeholder for the Name Yahweh. I'm not sure what verses exactly, but Jesus is referred to in all caps Lord, so calling Jesus Lord is a reference to God (Yahweh). A mosaic dated to 230 AD, reads Jesus The God. That date would give at least 40 years previous to the emperor Constantine & the eventual rise catholicism. Jesus was Lord of the Sabbath, God's very own Most Holy Day. Also if Jesus is God's Son doesn't that mean he has all the attributes & abilities that God has? Kinda like how in microbiology how asexual cells are exact DNA replicas split from the very same cell. I'm not saying that exactly what happened or if Christ is just the most like translation of his relationship to God. Or maybe since God is omniscient he can represent himself at different places at the same moment. More about Christ's Authority & Limitations. It widely said that Christ was Fully God & Fully Man, on multiple levels it makes sense. To be relate to everything about humanity & divinely bringing God, in reversing the curse & being our intercessor. God has planned all these multifaceted points to express his perfection, how Jesus is Prophet, Priest, & King. He knows how to be a Lawyer in his own Righteous Lawbook to make The Way that Justifies the Ungodly. He limited his actionary power to God's timing. True he never directly declared I Am God, but he toes the line as "I Am" (which is also a reference to God, not just before Abraham) & The Son of Man coming on the clouds & even are you the Christ, King of The Jews, you have said it is so." Then again another comes to establish his own glory, a false messiah coming in his own name, the lawless one saying "i am god" How about the many times in Epistles that talk about The Spirit of Christ, which I believe in interchangeable with Holy Spirit. No man is sinless, that's why Jesus had to be God, cuz as it is written there is none good but God, "Good teacher!" Why do you call me good, only God is good, same again, Who do you say that I Am? For flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in Heaven. Jesus also raised Lazarus, after inquiring about God's will, he raised him with his own voice by the power of The Spirit, to reflect the testimony of God about his being and so as was the purpose of the miraculous, many Believed that day. God may instruct his conduct, for it seems Christ does nothing without God's okay first. Christ is the Word & The Will for God has placed his own Words in his mouth. Also let us make man in Our own image (Genesis). The Lamb who was Slain before the Foundation of the world (Revelation) also I think the Bible might say that no one knows God, but Jesus claims to know God. Why is God well pleased in Jesus, again only God is Good. Jesus forgives sin, only God can forgive sin, go in peace. Which is easier to say take up your mat and walk? Prepare The Way, for He Comes in The Name of The Lord! Hosanna in the Highest! Once again I do not blame you for this idea, but I think it's easier to just remain that Jesus is God or say it's at least outside of our knowledge comprehension from what the scriptures has spoken, but I honestly think its assumed & spelled out between the lines, take it with a pebble or take it as a parable. Either way I still consider you my Brother in Christ. Always and Forever, God keeps his Children & that's how Jesus keeps his Brothers.

@@BenjPruett I appreciate your gentleness. I have studied most of the verses that people have posted regarding Jesus as God Almighty. Maybe I’ll do a video going through each verse and explaining what it means in context. Even though there are 20-25 verses that Trinitarians generally use to defend the doctrine, there are many more verses that say something otherwise. We have to interpret scripture in light of the clear verses first like 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 17:3, James 1:13, 1 Corinthians 15:21-23, 1 Corinthians 11:3, John 14:28, John 20:17, Romans 8:17, 1 Timothy 2:5, Galatians 1:1, Acts 10:38, John 5:30-31, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Matthew 16:15-17, Romans 8:29, Matthew 1:1, Psalm 83:18, Acts 7:55-56, 1 Timothy 1:17, etc and then try to fit in unclear verses afterwards.

To answer your main questions: No God cannot die, the flesh can die, the soul can't, remember when Jesus said the Soul never dies in torment? Plus God isn't even associated with death cuz he has no sin, Christ had no sin, but had human flesh that can die, he might not have ever died but had to become humanity's curse anyway, so he allowed it to be. Who raised Christ from the dead? There's at least one verse that obviously says God raised him, but he said he has the power to lay down his life and take it back again, no one takes it from him (John 10:15-18) I do think that God took the actionary power of rasing him, cuz Christ was in constant submission and was bearing witness to God in his ministry testimonial, which gave him Glory. Also Christ said that he will raise Believers up on the last day (John 6:40), so he also has the same power to raise, plus he raised Lazarus with God's power and permission, he did nothing on his own, but the commands and instructions from God, he did nothing apart from God, but also with him and through his own self simultaneously. Christ was coming as The Word of God, The Will, and he made the Appearance before men as God to humans who cannot stand in the powerful presence of God without fear (Mount Sinai) (Deuteronomy 18:14-30) he came as man so they would not tremble, and many other reasons. As to his Praying to God could be for many reasons also, to discuss the boundaries which to take. Mostly about submission & testimony of God in Miracles, signs, scriptures, he's bearing witness for God, giving them evidences on every front. I could dig more for the prayer, but its a process. Also I think Christ was limiting his power, in humility, by completing the Father's Will, he was taking on duality and presenting power and the miraculous when the timing was proper. He was like his own parable, speaking enough for you to understand, but leading you to the punchline conclusion for yourself, like Who do you say that I Am? The Baptism is also more complex but it can be made out with scripture & logically. It is more like the prayer issue, but he is establishing the witness not by his own means or by his own name or Glory, but from the very mouth of God. In the court of God's own law he is testifying and it's the 3 bearing witness so that we are securely guilty if we did rejecting the testimony of Christ held in unison by the Triune Bearing Witness. Also I understand your open mindedness towards this issue, I have had thoughts as well, it's very dramatic cuz some might tie The Trinity to the points of belief in Salvation. I think you just need some more insight and logical puzzle piecing. Patience and hearing out is important, you're welcome. I will note some more thoughts further on a different comment.

😪 Isaiah 43: 1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I HAVE REDEEMED THEE, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine... 3 For I AM THE LORD thy God, the HOLY ONE of Israel, THY SAVIOUR: 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO SAVIOUR. 12 I HAVE DECLARED, AND HAVE SAVED, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I AM GOD. 13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and THERE IS NONE THAT CAN DELIVER out of my hand: I WILL WORK, and who shall let it? 14 Thus saith the LORD, YOUR REDEEMER, the Holy One of Israel... 19 Behold, I WILL DO A NEW THING; now it shall spring forth; SHALL YE NOT KNOW IT? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.20 THE BEAST of the field SHALL HONOUR ME, the DRAGONS AND the OWLS: because I GIVE waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.22 BUT THOU HAST NOT called upon me, O Jacob; but THOU HAST BEEN WEARY OF ME, O Israel.23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; NEITHER HAST THOU HONOURED ME with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast WEARIED ME with thine iniquities.25 I, EVEN I, AM HE THAT BLOTTETH OUT THY TRANSGRESSIONS for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.26 PUT ME IN REMEMBRANCE: LET US PLEAD TOGETHER: declare thou, THAT THOU MAYEST BE JUSTIFIED.27 Thy first father hath sinned, and THY TEACHERS HAVE TRANSGRESSED AGAINST ME.28 Therefore I HAVE PROFANED THE PRINCES OF THE SANCTUARY, and have GIVEN JACOB TO THE CURSE, and ISRAEL TO REPROACHES (As He will with all who persist in UNBELIEF, who are wise in their own eyes, who worship ANOTHER jesus, receive ANOTHER spirit, and preach ANOTHER Gospel, though it be not another, but they TROUBLE you). You keep saying that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for your sins, but you have ANOTHER JESUS, because your jesus is not God. 2 Corinthians 11: 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Galatians 1: 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Romans 16: 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Not believing in the “Trinitarian” doctrine is not what Paul was referring to when he said to “Mark and Avoid” or to “Let them be accursed”. Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, etc never taught the Trinity or that God was triune in nature. Every time in the opening of Paul’s letters, he says “God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. Where is the Holy Spirit? You would think this would be a revolutionary teaching for the church as the Gentiles knew nothing of the OT. Do you think Israel was waiting for a “God man” to come be their Messiah or a “man” based on the Genesis 3:15 prophesy and being the seed of Abraham and David? I grew up only knowing the Trinity doctrine. But the scriptures makes much more sense when we see that there is one God, the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6, John 17:3) AND one Lord/Messiah Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is just God’s power in us and the way he operates throughout time since God is spirit (John 4:24).

@ If it was talking about the “nature of Jesus”, there would be at least one clear verse showing a separation between the nature of God the Father and “God the Son” (which is not found anywhere in scripture). What we see in the scriptures: “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” -Psalm 51:5 “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.” -Psalm 58:3 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” -Romans 5:12 Sin entered the world through Adam even though Eve was the one that was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14) and every human is already “in sin” before they are conceived. “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” -Hebrews 4:15 “And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.” -1 John 3:5 While we were conceived as sinners, Jesus on the other hand was conceived without sin because… “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” -Luke 1:35 Jesus’ birth was different than anyone else’s as “the Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee”. He was directly created by God (like Adam) which is why he was born without sin and he was able to renew his mind daily which is why he never sinned. Paul says in Galatians 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Jesus walked in the Spirit daily. “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the OBEDIENCE of one shall many be made righteous.” -Romans 5:19 This is why Jesus Christ was tempted just like us in Matthew 4:1, Mark 1:13, Luke 4:2, Hebrews 2:18, and Hebrews 4:15 but never once succumbed/fell into temptation. God Almighty on the other hand cannot be temped by evil and he’s not the one who tempts us. (James 1:13) It is consistent throughout the scriptures that Jesus the Christ/Messiah/Anointed One was a man just like you and I: “But now ye seek to kill me, a MAN that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.” -John 8:40 “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.” -Acts 2:22 “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that MAN whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” -Acts 17:31 “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one MAN, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.” -Romans 5:15 “For since by MAN came death, by MAN came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every MAN in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.” -1 Corinthians 15:21-23 “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second MAN is the Lord from heaven. -1 Corinthians 15:45-47 “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus.” -1 Timothy 2:5 It makes God’s redemptive plan that much more amazing knowing that a man just like you and I did not fall into temptation once his entire life and he shed his actual blood for us so that we could have peace with God Almighty and receive eternal life.

Jesus, on many occasions, claimed to be God. In one particular instance, Jesus Himself forgives a paralytic's sins. Some of the Scribes perceived such a statement/action to be blasphemous since only God can forgive sins: "When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” To answer the scribes’ question, no one can forgive all of a person’s sins except God. The reader is, therefore, left with a decision: Is Jesus blaspheming? Or is Jesus God? Surely, the writer of this Gospel, John Mark, is insinuating that Jesus is, in fact, God, rather than a blasphemer! To be IMMEDIATELY, PERMANENTLY and ETERNALLY saved, one must believe in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. One must place their personal faith in The Jesus of The Bible (Who is The Eternally Existing Son of God) & His finished redemptive work on The Cross alone (i.e., His substitutionary death, burial and ressurection). That's exactly what the Bible teaches... 🙏

As for John 10:18, Jesus received the commandment from God. Just like we received the commandment in 1 John 3:23 to believe on the Son and love one another. Also, the word “take” in John 10:17 and John 10:18 is the Greek word “Lambano” which means to receive and is translated correctly at the end of verse 18. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Isa 9 v 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Why do we worship Jesus Christ if He is not God? I too believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for my sins and rose again from the dead, I know His blood has cleansed us and bought us. This is highly confusing, as now scriptures are contradicticting themselves? We know God has not given us confusion but soundness. So, I know God is spirit, because Jesus told us and Jesus had to come to earth through a vigin birth, no man blood just Gods miraculous conception to mary, to condemn sin and death in the flesh. So who do I pray to then? Do we separate them all and have 3 God's? Deut 6 v 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: I see where you are coming from I don't want to upset you, this is just serious Kind regards, merry Christmas to you and your family

@ I see it from a different lens. For many years, the doctrine of the “Trinity” made zero sense to me but seeing that there is One God, the Father AND One Lord/Messiah, Jesus Christ makes sense to me. “There is ONE body, and ONE spirit, even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling; ONE Lord (Jesus Christ), ONE faith, ONE baptism (in the Holy Spirit, not water), ONE God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” -Ephesians 4:4-6 “But to us there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; AND ONE Lord Jesus Christ, by (through) whom are all things, and we by (through) him.” -1 Corinthians 8:6 God is spirit (John 4:24) and he is in Christ and in us. Do you see a pattern with the opening of all of Paul’s letters? “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -1 Corinthians 1:3 “Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Corinthians 1:2 “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ” -Galatians 1:3 “Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -Ephesians 1:2 “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ” -Philippians 1:2 “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” -Colossians 1:2 “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ” -1 Thessalonians 1:2 “Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Thessalonians 1:2 Notice how there is no mention of the Holy Spirit in any of these verses? As for praying/giving thanks… “I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all” -Romans 1:8 “I thank my God always on your behalf” -1 Corinthians 1:4 “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” -2 Corinthians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” -Ephesians 1:3 “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” -Philippians 1:3 “Giving thanks unto the Father” -Colossians 1:12 “We give thanks to God always for you all” -1 Thessalonians 1:2 “We are bound to thank God always for you brethren” -2 Thessalonians 1:3 Jesus also said in Matthew 6:9 and Luke 11:2 to pray to the Father. We have the same Father as Jesus Christ. With that said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with thanking Jesus for what he did for us. The same spirit that was in Christ during his ministry and raised Jesus from the dead is the same spirit in every member of the body of Christ!

@ Yes, God’s word has been fully revealed through his Son Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:2 talks about this. As members of Christ’s body, we were also with God in the beginning: “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” -Romans 8:29-30 We also see this in Ephesians 3:2-12 with the mystery of Christ and his body. And to think as members of Christ’s body and having Christ in us (Colossians 1:27), the word dwells among all brothers and sisters!

@@paul3441Actually, the Greek word for fear in 2 Timothy 1:7 is “Deilia” which means “fearfulness” but in Philippians 2:12, the Greek word used is “Phobos” which can mean to “have deep reverence or respect for someone”. God Almighty doesn’t want his children shrinking back in fear or being afraid of him but instead wants them approaching him with boldness and confidence as to who they are in Christ.

Amen Brother! 🎯 Matthew 23:5a But all their works they do for to be seen of men...that they may glory in your flesh.(Galatians 6:13 KJV ) It is just like Simon in Acts 8; they are seeking the power to be seen by men, not Christ or the Holy Spirit: 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. People will pay some charlaran preacher, masquerading as an angel of light, to receive another spirit as evidence of their salvation, but that is the opposite of Faith, because Faith is substance of things HOPED FOR, the evidence of things NOT SEEN. Truly Sad, really. 😪😡 I have a charlatan in sheeps clothing who is at war with the Spirit of Christ in me, doing the same thing, only trying to get me to ask for the gift of the Hoky Spirit, which He thinks I don't have, because I don't speak in tongues. He is coming at me to get me to receive ANOTHER SPIRIT. PAUL WARNED us anout such: 2 Corinthians 11: 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him....10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.11 Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. MARK AND AVOID THESE DECEITFUL WORKERS! IF THEY DON'T RECEIVE YOUR TESTIMONY OF CHRIST, DON'T WELCOME THEM IN YOUR HOME OR BID THEM GOD SPEED, DON'T EVEN PRAY FOR THEM. LEAVE THRM TO GOD TO DEAL WITH.
