Your previous ered luin campaign was a thing of legend. I laughed so hard at your reaction but mad respected you for not save scumming it like any other sane man would.

Another rebel army thats around here somewhere. Good times. You spent about 10 turns looking for that other army in your high elves campaign.
Funny how something happening once burns into the memory. Forever more that army will be known as the one that hides even if 99 times out of 100 they show exactly where they are.
I found you channel this year, so I haven’t watched to old campaign, but the warg reference really makes me want to… and I’m at the point were your about to fight the village with three wargs in it… let’s see how it goes!
If you want to watch a man slowly descend into insanity over the course of several hours I'd recommend it.

Ballistas are imo also very useful when defending. I use them a lot in my Erebor campaign. Each defending siege they get like 400-ish kills per unit + the fire drops morale pretty good. The catapults do have a nice crunchy sound though hehe
Yeah with Ered Luin I always turtle and horde before I start rolling out and taking settlements.
No one really attacks you for several turns so I take advantage of it.
@Phoenix12157 A viable option but a bit slow for others to watch. I think I opened like that in my Erebor campaign but there are less immediate neutral settlements so it doesn't feel as detrimental.
They may give you time before the elves show up, but as much as I'd like to see the catapult commit some war crimes on the level of the Canadians I say just have a bunch of troops recruited instead your dwarves so it may take all battle to kill all the dwarves especially in a chokepoint heavy settlement like Thorin's halls.
I was going to try to get them but I need the tier 2 blacksmith to build it. I don't think I can afford to spend those turns building blacksmith at this point.
@@epmtotalwar I agree that's why I suggest focusing on getting troops and just having enough troops to outlast the timer.
There 3 other mods regarding lord of the ring :
- For Rome total war remastered : the dagovax mods-Ring RR v2
-Attilla Total War : 'the dawnless days' campaign is still in development but its gonna come.
-Shogun 2 total war: 'The last alliance' mainly playing as numenor fighting the civil war between elendil and pharaoh men
I think the only way you get Dragonslayers if from the Erebor alliance reclaiming Buzra-dum script

You are really thinly stretched
I'm not sure 'thinly stretched' quite does the situation justice. All my dwarves are too busy mining.
That's the start of every EPM campaign.
EPM during an Elven playthrough paraphrased: "Alright we're going to empty all of Lindon and Rivendell and go on offense with 7 units of Elves."
The funniest outcome is to take the Dwarven rings and then destroy the One Ring thus taking away the Dwarven rings' power.
This just reminded me of something I was going to do. Just booted back up the Lothlorien save file and checked the Elven ring after destroying the One ring. It still has effects so destroying the one didn't make null and void the others.
those lumbermen just thirsting after the general and not instantly routing was annoying me so much as if I was playing the game😅
If he had died there I would have exploded, it was so stupid.
evil bree is more isolationist bree and doesn't kkickk off until turn 70ish so you have plenty of time to claim all of the southern territory and have good defensive settlements at tharbad and suduri and in my campaign the Dunedain were actually pushing and I got the rangers flourish message before I made the choice. I stayed with them then they started losing to angmar so they may get a slight buff until the choice
Remember I'm deliberately hamstringing myself to make it harder, I don't think I'll be anywhere near Suduri and Tharbad by turn 70.
@@epmtotalwar I was talking isolationist bree. this campaign is is goin got be hard enough with 3 different doom stacks coming at you but hey, you get 3 free grimborn units before everyone hates you
