That tail-swipe move the Gobul has totally reminds me of your "Monster Reefback" Subnautica video from a while back; it spins in almost the same derpy somersault motion as the mature Reefbacks did, before they fixed them lol

As a MH pro, the Barrioth shoots ice out of his mouth! It also jumps to its prey and stabs them with his teeth!

Believe me hunting Barioth is a pain in the ass. If it spawns in the wild while I'm doing something else I always try avoiding it

Just clarifying, yes the barrioth shots ice projectiles, in the actual monster hunter game it can do that and breath blizzard tornadoes

Sometimes the monster it summoned would kill the quropeco. I always had to bring a flash grenade to confuse the monster so I can carve the quropeco.
Dont get me started on crimson quropeco AND THE FUCKING DEVILJHO IT SPAWNED

Eimakaioman guy no barioth is a mud wyvern the mud he shoots is similar to ice but he lives in the desert and you know how ice does in the heat
Are you talking about the Barroth? That's a completely different monster. (plus it's classified as a brute wyvern, not mud)
isocryd i know but i was trying to make it simpler instead of saying brute since mud makes up most of his attacks

Yay gobul is one of my favourites
Gobul's health was recently buffed in the newest patch, it's tail swipe also paralyzes enemies on land.
he should make a boss version of all of them so it balances out for having the ability to tame them
fun fact gobul is a baby and when they grow to adults they migrate to the ocean the reason we dont hunt them is because they are too deep in the sea
I really miss the monster hunter mod
the gobul is slightly disproportionately large, but damn he looks good in this game!
he blows out a ice ball when impact it turns into a ice tornado o yeah u should look up Tigrex and Nargacuga and Nargacuga is like a bat you gonna love them
the mod dev should have it set so that if you want to be ontop of the monster, you can a saddle on it. and if you dont, you can keep it how it is

gobul uses paralysis based attacks with its spines and then attacks with its mouth. barioth uses an ice beam.
fun fact: the gobul you fight is juvenile adults migrate to deeper waters
The Gobul reminds me of a more beast and awesome version of the chopper from PvZ
I wonder if they will add the monster hunter armor and you would need to kill the monsters to get stuff to make the armor, that would be dope af
one thing I will complain about this mod update is that Gobul and Barioth seem waaay bigger than they actually are. Gobul are fairly small, smaller than the Lagiacrus that was shown here but this one technically dwarves it.
Can't wait to see more MH3 monster models added.

These monsters are badass, love these videos, unfortunately the monsters don't seem to be spawning in my world :/ It's second mod before Extinction Core on the mod list. Anyways, KEEP UP THE AWESOME VIDS

barioth was more known for his agility. jumping off walls to get behind you. boy was nuts. so it wasnt power like the jho or rathalos, he's meant to be mobile

Are the devs for this mod thinking of implementing the corresponding monster armors too? Are they planning to turn ark into an open world first person monster hunter?
RIOT on the server you should dedicate people to elements so people have nations like fire,water,air and earth so people by water have to tame lagiacrus and people life in mountains with deviljho and uragaan
13:10 its a blizzard in ball form :D there is a sand version too which shoots sandstorms (in ball form and explodes in a sand tornado thing)
The Barioth is only huntable in the snow area

barioth is a an ice monster thats what it is but there's also sand barioth which is his subspecies

He "spits" an iceball. If you get hit by that in monster hunter you turn into an iceball aswell and you can't attack anymore until you get freed.
