Great review Dylan👍. I traded two V7s ( would love to have kept them both but space + ££ wouldn't allow ) for the 'standard' model in November, it's more than enough bike for this 73 year old bloke ! - Now looking forward to some better weather here in the UK. 🙂

v100 vs v85 tt ... I've been giving this a lot of thought, and I think the only good answer is to buy one of every Moto Guzzi and convert more of my home into lounge-able garage space.

Hi Dylan , I also have a 650 interceptor . Its in storage at the moment as I went shopping for tyres back 12 months ago & took a V85tt for a test drive. BIG MISTAKE ,I bought one a month later thats why the interceptor is in storage .I cant sell it. The Vt85tt is a great bike .I love it but the only thing that lets it down is the suspension its ok. As much as I love the new mandello im waiting for the new Stelvio

Just a tip, you need to be on the throttle with the quick shifter going up the box, you only close the throttle going down the box, thanks for the review, I’m 5000 miles on my V85TT but I’m sure I’m changing to the V100 if the riding position isn’t to extreme, cheers

Wow, that is a beautiful bike! I love the single side swing arm. I also love Guzzi because there is no chain maintenance. People laugh at me because I have owned 3 Moto Guzzi bikes, and the main reason is because it has a drive shaft instead of a chain. I don't know if I would buy this one though, because what attracts me to Moto Guzzi is the simplicity of air cooling, and the lack of tech in the engine. For me, this is too much technology for a Guzzi. I still think you're gonna sell all the ones you can get your hands on.
Copy that,I have a V85tt I can change the oil in the diff , gear box & engine in one hour , do the valves another hour, & im set for 10000 ks . love the simplicity of the V85tt I think they have lost that now.
Absolutely. I have a v7 Classic and the shaft drive is absolutely fantastic. Just get on and ride. Want to fiddle with greasing, adjusting, etc the chain and aligning the wheel? Be my guest. I’ll be out having fun riding. Also, those people are laughing at you because secretly they’re jealous they wish their bike’s exhaust also sounded like a built small block Chevy
I'm going to buy the v100, I'm more or less shopping for a dealership at this point. I'm aware of the Columbus dealership here and believe there is one in Detroit and Cleveland areas. I live somewhere in the middle. I'll keep an eye open for when you guys will have a demo available.
There is one in Detroit, no longer a dealer in Cleveland though.
I think the 100 refers to the company being 100 years old ..

It's amazing how many people are in business in selling a certain product but don't know jack about the product itself.
I’m not guessing. V100 means 1000cc, same as V85 (850) V9 (900, though actually 853) and V7 (originally 750). The 100 year anniversary for Moto Guzzi is 2021, the current year is 2023. In 2021 Moto Guzzi released 3 special versions called “Centenario” to commemorate the 100 year anniversary. I can see why the two of you are confused and will accept your apology Apro for saying that I “don’t know jack” about the V100.

One of the reviewers in the UK tested the bike in January on a very cold day and said he felt when the wings opened immediately, blocking the cold air. Other than that he wasn’t sure whether he would have noticed any difference.
Can't decide between a V85 and a V100? Buy one of each, I did!
Does it have wheely control in the computer?
Less engine braking in Sport mode, full in Road mode.
What's the green flashing light on the dash that looks like a permanently flashing indicator?
Just showing that cruise control is armed but not active. If you don’t activate the cruise control it isn’t lit at all.
You get a lot more for your money than with a BMW!
What is that flashing green lite on left side of the display? It seemed to blink the whole test ride.
Just cruise control. It only blinks when it’s on standby.

On the Lecco shore of Como lake .
