to save the earth. we must stop ev's
🥱
There just replacing one environmental problem with another! When will people stop listening to what there been told and falling for it??
@rachelshonahague5718 Im glad your skeptical about this stuff but you must realize, if you don't already know, there is no Environmental Crisis to begin with. C02 is not a Pollutant, it's a vital element on the Periodic Table & more C02 means more Green. If you haven't yet go check out a free film called 'Climate: The Movie" & view it with an open mind. It is biased because its Scientist & Professionals that tell you why they believe this whole climate change narrative is a lie & what they think it's really about & the real life consequences the agenda is causing. Also share the video with other Critical Thinkers because this 1 issue effect's so many issues. Humans are not a plague to Earth like people are being taught today, we are a part of Nature.
More like adding a new environmental problem. Oil will always be needed to support the mining of the materials for EVs, support transportation of materials for EVs, support the world wide distribution of EVs and etc. Air travel creates 90% of the pollution they think EVs are reducing.
I decided to help the EV buyers in Australia by not buying one. What did I do instead. I brought a Ford Ranger Wildtrak V6 Diesel and one option I added was a 140l long range fuel tank. Now I will hook up my 3500kg caravan and head of on trips producing Co2 plant food to make up for all these numpties who are trying to starve our trees. The wonderful Oxygen they give back is clearly wasted on these climate alarmist wack jobs.
I met a chap who was responsible for the maintenance of the wind farm (Scroby Sands) in Great Yarmouth, who told me that it would never be green. Due to the manufacture of the turbine, site preparation, raw materials used, the amount of power loss from the turbine to land, the inverter costs to change DC to AC to be able to feed it into the grid, and then the ongoing maintenance.
They are not electric cars. They electrically charged battery operated vehicles. They are inefficient and not fit for purpose. Once a battery-operated vehicle can charge itself as it drives, they will be fit for purpose until then they are not fit for purpose.
I have a suggestion. Call up Elon Musk and tell him that multi billionaire dollar investment was a total waste. How bloody stupid can one person be. Do you know anything at all about EVs, or are you like so many who spout of a load of BS so as to go along with other half brained idiots. 🙄
Just watched a video of a guy having to smash his EV car window after it locked him in and set on fire frightening.Well done Lee keep the great work going son Thankyou.❤
And the central locking can fail on ICE Vehicals too
And you’ve never seen a petrol car explode either ?
@@jimsouthlondon7061No. They generally don’t do that. The fuel is held in a tank, as far from the engine & major sources of ignition as possible.
@@jimsouthlondon7061 True ,,,, but they don't burst into flames at the same time 😂
I have never ever seen an ice vehicle suddenly combust in my 75 years in fact I have never heard of one doing so.❤️
Every one of those was demonstrably false or just a jumble of rehashed eco radical catchphrases that are as meaningless as they are false.
19 Improved vehicle safety, with a heavy battery under the car I'm expecting the occupants will get crushed when an EV does turn over on its top.
Also a heavier EV's will cause more damage when it is in an accident, to other cars motorcycles buildings and surroundings.
Public needs to rise up and stop all this crap
This EV FAD isn't going to make it to 2035.
What about 44 reason's to keep your ICE car or maybe 100.
He's already done that one. Reason 1 was "you can drive a really long way a bit quicker". Reasons 2-44 were "me like sound of engine, vroom, vroom".
It’s called “artificial “ for a reason, chat gpt shows an Hispanic female as George Washington.
I'd rather get a horse and cart then an EV 😂.
I'll believe all that bull💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 when all the UN hero's start flying around the world in their electric aircraft.❤❤
Just a dumb comment.
To get us out of our cars they’ll make RFL sky high, increase fuel duty even further, make us pay per mile and finally increase the LEZ areas even further.
What a load of rubbish, I’m never getting a electric car..
Walking is best obviously we all know that LoL
Just passed a broken down EV..
Where ? Did you stop to ask if they had mechanical trouble ?
@@jimsouthlondon7061Shill.
Not zero emissions. Any extra load on the grid is supplied by fossil fuels. EVs are an extra load, you could buy an ice car. Your EV is powered 100% from fossil fuels
Do you understand that there's a difference in efficiency between using fossil fuels to produce electricity in a power station and your car using fossil fuels to generate forward motion?
@@stephenballantyneIt’ll be worse on efficiency if first fuels are burned to generate electricity, which is then transformed & sent down the grid to your home, which then is used to charge your car battery, which then converts some stored electricity into motion.
@@stephenballantynecan you explain please?
If the heads of all the multinational companies, who are pushing this agenda, swap their private jets for electric planes, I might start taking them seriously 🤣
@topgrafter2007 sure. A car engine is at most about 25% efficient in turning fuel into forward motion. A gas power station can turn fuel into electricity at about 60% efficency and the motor is then well over 90% efficient at turning the electricity into forward motion.
3. Electric motors are more efficient but the batteries are not as they weigh considerably more than a tank of petrol and contain much less energy.
What’s the weight of a petrol delivery truck on the sea or on the road ? What's the weight of a power cable once’s it’s in the ground ?
You forgot to factor in the horrendous thermal efficiency of ICE engines LoL
@@jonbowes5999
You also forgot about the thermal efficency of the power stations lol
Despite this, ICE cars can travel 600 miles on a tank of petrol, EV's don't even get close and when/If they do, overnight home charging won't be possible with a standard charger.
Electric cars are still hunks of metal dug out of the ground and so are their batteries, so no advance of cars there.
Rapid tyre wear on EV's.
Where do those rubber granules go?
We breathe them in. They are highly carcinogenic.
- And they wash into the waterways - to feed the estuarian fish and prawns.
@@kadmow and where do those rubber granules go on the tyre wear on ICE vehicals they’re highly carcinogenic .
so how much tyre rubber is in the average persons lungs?
Do they really think our head zips up the back
Victor Meldrew's long lost son
It won't be 2035, it'll be 2030 (or sooner) when Labour get in...
What a load of bollards !!
Most of these statements are practical duplicates of others 😮
I am not scrapping any of my cars. It is easy to make fuel for them.
The things I like about EV’s
.
EV's are great for massively increasing you insurance premiums 💰💷💶💵💴
Number 31 had me howling. "EVs are lighter than traditional vehicles" 😂
I was looking at rav4 yesterday the PHEV is 661lbs heavier than the HEV suddenly the 84hp more seem less of a power boost especially when unlike ICE the torque doesn't increase as electric motors are weak you know how much I have on my 2.3l turbo from a focus rs 2018 405lbs/ft measured on a dyno vs the 167lbs/ft of a rav4 PHEV 2.42x more torque for 0.74x the car weight with a not too bad 26-27mpg 323miles range
Got one Audi no they are not
Maybe the AI thought someone was replacing their ICE car with an E-Bike. ROFL LMFAO
They really talk rubbish regarding EV’s and I’ll never own one 😡
Will we need any car when we are locked in a 15 minute city.
Nobody’s going to be locking me up 😉👍
@@CiderGuy i agree, but they will just shut down your account, when we go digital cash. so will be free but penalised out of there system.
China is the largest consumer and producer of EVs. China is the largest user of coal and consumes more than 50% of the world's yearly output of coal. So coal is powering all these EVs.
China is also the biggest producer of solar panels and wind turbine stacks .
If EV's are so great, why doesn't China get its fighter planes and ships to run on those great batteries?
Where will the electricity come from ...errrr ...power stations...coal fired?
Definitely my favourite thumbnails on UA-cam. Have you thought about selecting the best dozen or so and putting them on a 2025 calendar to sell in the merch shop in time for Christmas?....
No way i will allow it, will you?
P.S. Geo Fencing and Geo Timelines are on new cars and can be updated to older cars. Geo Fencing will limit how far you travel as it will cut the motor unless you turn around. Geo timelines will not allow the car to start on certain times and dates. The future looks grime.
So many of those points were repeated but worded differently, if they were combined it would reduce the total by at least 6, other points were just way off the mark. 44 points would take forever to debate, but I'll pick one (which was mentioned about 3, maybe 4 times).
When I had my Nissan LEAF (x2) it (they) were capable of vehicle to home and vehicle to grid, which was mentioned in at least 3 points there. However, despite the technology being available for well over a decade, the UK has failed to adopt it. At one point the value of my LEAF had dropped so low that I was seriously considering scrapping it and using it for battery storage for my solar panels, a 40 kw battery pack was worth more than the car by a long way.
My first LEAF went to a family member who ran it for another 2 years then sold it for peanuts as the battery had lost so much range it was almost unusable as a family car, a 65 plate car with 86,000 miles on the clock. Quotes for a new battery were coming in at over 6k, but there were none available. How many ICE vehicles would need that much spending on them at that age and mileage?
This may have come up before. With the added weight of EV's, will this not result in an increased number of fatalities caused by road traffic accidents? Serious injuries would also increase.
Newer cars, not just EVs, are a lot safer in that respect, they have better collision detection and are better designed to protect the pedestrian. Certainly better than the bloke on here that says "my 25 year old diesel car is all I'll ever need".
Quieter neighborhoods Until the Fire Services show up.
Lots of repetition in those 'facts'
great video Lee I defiantly won't be getting a ev
You can write off an electric car by spitting on it.
Agree that many of those reasons are the same but worded differently EVs are not the way ahead.
MacMaster keep up the good work you do. I totally agree with you on electric cars. I had to drive an electric van to do a job and got home with only 10 miles left of range, couldn't put the heating on so was cold and thankfully didn’t have to use the wiper.
Remove all the power stations and let see how the EV will last.
Better empty your fridge & freezer first, stock up on cans of beans, rice pudding etc.
No: 1 They may stop carbon emissions at the tail pipe which is itself a non sequitur as EV's don's have tail pipes. Yes that is true but the electricity you store in those toxic batteries is created by fossil fuels a a power generation station. Also with net zero to meet the energy supplied by gas and oil (Diesel & Petrol) by 2035n the National Grid would have to raise its out put 800/900%.and how will that be achieved? It won't be by renewables that immpossible
The kinetic energy of an EV in a car crash is way higher. Something the manufacturers don't like to talk about. Don't get me started on the risks of the battery igniting.....🤔🙄🙄🙄🙄🇬🇧
Keep standing up for what you believe in, take care 👍💗
EV’s - zero emissions…..at point of use.
That’s why I call them ECEs , external combustion engines .
The charging stations are normally 3 times bigger than petrol stations.
And for disabled people many cars and vans that disabled people use have the floor cut and lowered for wheelchair access.
How do you do that if the floor is a battery.
No 1 is all about trickery. Notice it says zero emissions at the TAILPIPE - it's specific for a good reason.
No 2 can only possibly apply if you avoid public charging and don't forget EV depreciation which is very high at the moment.
You are 100% correct about no 7 - wait till they find a way to switch what is currently fuel tax/duty over to EVs (that's when NOT if) - this is roughly half the cost of diesel/petrol so you're going to be in for a big shock!
No 14 links back to no 7 - they will get you in the end!
No 16 - so we will have less oil spills but have more fires that take out whole airport car parks, or people's homes.
With no 17 don't forget that EVs are much heavier so will cause more wear and hence the need for repairs on road infrastructure - the opposite of what no 31 claims!
Nos 23, 29, 35, and 39 sound like like desperation to add more points.
With no 43, be warned that EVs will probably suffer badly from driving through floods as there are so much more electronics which will corrode and lead to electrical failures and fires!
I noticed that reliance on other countries for oil is mentioned 2-3 times, and some other very similar points are also duplicated such as feeding back into the grid, design/innovation, reduced noise, air quality, etc.
1. Many items repeat themselves; there's probably less than 20 unique reasons
2. Many of those unique reasons are bogus, like the oil spill risk, now consider the chemical spill risk of EV
3. Resiliency in a catastrophic event... imagine that a hurricane destroys the electricity distribution network...
Net zero is a load of BS .😡😡
Agreed!!
The electric car is dead!
It just doesn't know it yet😂
No, that’s the ice car
Zero emissions at the tailpipe, yes, but it's transferred via the charging network to the power stations, just like electric trains!
absolutely spot on well said
Have you seen the video of how they deal with turbine blades, that's right they are not recyclable and get buried in landfill sites, but in the future the want to severely reduce or stop landfill sites,so where do you put the blades then ffs.
9,it is food security we need in the uk
FJB and his administration of clowns!!!
So after watching that video of exploding batteries EV is catching on fire while charging, question has to be asked how much emissions are put into the air when the things catch on fire what a load of crap these EV ARE 🔥
12. Commercial charging outlets are not cheap. I doubt one will get 7.5p/kWh home charging when everybody has EV's and is charging overnight.
“Electric cars reduce oil spills”
😂😂😂
That’s brilliant! 🤪
Crude Oil ended international whaling
not only was some of them incorrect they were out and out lies
Bar a couple of points. 2 words. Totally bollix 😂😂😂😂
Some of these answers were worded differently but meant the same thing.counted at least 4.
Have a look at Euro 7 regs coming in 2025, Brown car guy did a vid on this, in which vehicles will have brake and tyre wear taxed because the EU have determined that EVs are NOT as environmentally friendly as first thought which blows your AI list out of the water.
Oil burner all the way here 😂 Goverment & EVs 🖕
26: Reduced tensions over Geopolitical issues. China is busy buying up lots of raw materials, rare metals. What happens when they invade Taiwan?
so what are they going to pay scrappage fee on a Ferrari, Lamborghini etc. £3000 lol
If you can’t drive it what is it worth?
They'll have to take my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 from my cold dead lead foot. Older vehicles are more green because there is no need to mine rare earth minerals. The carbon footprint of an EV is absolutely higher then a classic car. It's about governmental control not the environment.
Brilliant ❤️🏴
Many thanks for the vlog l am disabled and get a car through the mobaility scheme and we get a magazine every quarter and the advertising for EV's is overwhelming and at the The Big Event at Birmingham NEC they have increased range of EV's on show, Notice the title of the Exhibition This Big EVent, trying to go and test driving a few EV's (Not) but the Motability catalogue scheme is overwhelming with EV's for disabled people. From all sorts of car makes l wish l could show you anyway you can see disabled drivers are also being hammered with EV's hope that helps Lee all the best Richard from Southampton
No 45. Electric vehicles help young kids in the Democratic Republic Of Congo find work opportunities earlier than they otherwise would.
The legend the Macmaster.
Current wind turbine technology is just a generator on a very long pole with blade's to power it with wind. It still depends on oil to operate... It's a motor.
We put up more than 100k of windmill's in America and they still only provide a quarter of what the national grid needs.
Now the government keeps opening contracts for companies to take on wind project's and nobody wants the project's because it cost load's of money with zero returns financially.
EV’s being the future , what a load of bollocks, I will never buy one, after my work colleague was hit by a Tesla
They are Battery Cars, not Electric Cars.
This 'Electric' term conveys an importance they don't warrant.
Brilliant Thankyou.❤️
The trouble with Chat GP is it just regurgitates what it can find on the net. So the extreme views of the ‘diesel dinosaurs’, ‘petrol sniffers’, ‘hybrid hippies’ and ‘EVangelists’ are simply amplified. There is an honest middle ground here where different fuels work for different people. For many people EVs work very well and are cheap to run. I know you’ve had a bad experience in the one EV you’ve owned but I’ve had a very good experience with the four I’ve owned. I could list pages of trouble I’ve had with petrol and diesel cars over the years which I’ve not had with EVs . I know many will disagree with me (and many of those folk have never driven or owned an EV but feel qualified to comment) but sometimes is easy to have an opinion without any actual experience. People don’t like change so using ‘project fear’ chimes with many without actual experience. That said, the root of your issue really is about government policy and the almost criminal depreciation of your porker - which does appear to be the wrong car for the work you do.
They keep The MacMaster in a job.
Don't need a job. 😉
16 we always need to drill for oil, unless we going back to dirt roads and far to many useful products come from it . we will drill till we have no more evs or not
Yep all the plastic comes from oil ok lets wrap/pack everything paper and cardboard but then reduced shelf life more food waste. Ooh lets just turn the clock back to 1950 or maybe 1850.
Electric cars are a developmental dead end
15. Brilliant idea, reduce the battery lifetime and replace the pack at your expense.
Not 44 reasons ... too many duplications
One person in London, just ONE PERSON died from what may have been airborne pollution, since 2019.
An Electric Tractor might have poblems going into the sea to pull the fishing boats up the beach!
I saw a bunch of teslas slipstreaming heavy goods vehicles trying to save range. Absolutely priceless. also saw a broken down EV on the back of a tow truck, probably ran out of charge or a computer module malfunctioned.
Less moving parts was swapped for more computer modules which as we all know are the prime candidates to fail on a modern car, not the engine or transmission.
Electric and water do not mix.
At the moment, buying a second hand EV would be like buying an 1980s Pentium i586 x86 microprocessor powered computer. Yes it still works, but how long before you are overwhelmed by the pain of every day usage?
Looks like the gov did a good job programming the data
Since it’s government mandated to change. Find politicians that are anti-battery mandates. Need to find those politicians that are not in the boat with these current policies. There is time to change the crazies in parliament to common sense people.
Diesel engines are the worst polluters on the road ……..
WTF is the tractor doing? The reason it reversed to the water line, was to open the dump box in the sea! So all the rubbish it collected from the beach, it just dropped directly back in the sea! WTF!
15, a good friends next door neighbour was part of a trial where the charger can be used to charge the car overnight on cheap electric and then the cars battery can be used to run the house during the day. So as that technology progresses it could be used to balance out the grid. There are downsides of course. Your car will not be fully charged if you suddenly need to do a long journey. Plus if you work away from home, obviously the car is not plugged into the home and cannot be used.
Sorry mate. Was going to watch it through, but those nonsensical reasons were just winding me up.
😂
I got stressed out just listening to the lies that were repeated throughout that lot.
Ever heard the tyre "roar" produced by EV's massive tyres?
The rolling resistance is phenomenal.
Not 44 reasons as there are many duplicates stated, worded slightly differently.
If there is all this green electricity, why are we paying through the nose for it, we are being told it's due to certain wars and gas supply, green energy indeed .
because the price is set by the costliest part of energy generation. so even if we were 99% renewables the 1% of expensive fossil fuel would set the price. It's a stupid system that will hopefully get reformed when Labour get in.
Another thing to think about:
When everyone is driving an EV and then there is a huge pile up accident on the motorway then all those cars (not to mention injuries and fatalities) will be write-offs and the batteries will all catch on fire in domino effect.
And think of all the oil based tarmac they will need, to resurface the charred remains of the motorway! 😂😂
Excellent video Lee EV’s are not the future
ive seen all ev Mercedes minibus through ford it failed to make it, it looked weeks old
14 what if you live in a flat. Total bollocks
