im glad theres more games like this but nothing is gonna beat dicey dungeons. for me its the whole vibe of it with the chipzel soundtrack and the lovely charm of everything in that game -- from the writing and the small portions of dialogue and the animation style dicey dungeons is legit one of my all-time favorite games. i do love the recent "blend of game a and game b" demos tom has been playing tho and i hope he finds more of them!
i have lots of games with more hours played than Dicey Dungeons too but its hard to think of games that i would say i enjoyed more or recommend more to others if someone asked me what my favorite game is -- its Dicey Dungeons and FTL. @@LexSchilperoord
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1542 DICE TIME BABY XD OOO, I can definitely see the inspiration of STS and DD, and goodness it do look a great time :D I do hope Tom records more for us, as he did say he played alot in his spare time, as would love to see more and love to see those other characters Agreed, some real nice animations :D Personally do like the Skull in the Flower of that first boss, just something about it XD ha ha, Ah yes, the Mega Dinosaur Worm, or as others call it, a Hydra XD
Man, two solid games as inspiration and I really like the look of both the clean UI & detailed 3D units. Welp… yet another game to check out - thanks, Tom!
I just found this cool Deck Builder that i playex for the first time called Aces and Adventures! I do like the power of the Assassin. Beat my first wave ov the rogue like yesterday! And made it through the dessert in the story mode, then died... But I'm getting some cool buffs. (Yes, i know it's a yogscast game)
Regarding the Hydra: Unless there is some way to turn off the head spawning, killing heads is the only way to win. The body has so much HP, it dies by the 5th head loss latest. Might be at 4th, if you can deal a lot of AoE to the body. It is notable that it is capped at 3 heads due to battle map limits. So it is mostly playing "whack-a-mole" to take out any head that troublesome for you.
I never played Dicey Dungeons because it didn't look... complex? enough, there wasn't enough depth to it. But this is amazing, played it and it's Dicey Dungeons with Slay the Spire levels of complexity, along with good animations and design in general. Only thing I'm not very happy about is the "Ascension" (that's what it was called in Slay the Spire) mode, which makes the game more difficult by debuffing you. I'd rather it buffed the enemies
The Boulder is going to win this Landslide!

The dev for this was on reddit describing his game as extremely complex and impossible to describe. 😅
🤔
Tom so good at games
Took a while for you to get on this!
Love it!
Such a neat looking game… so frustrated with Tom’s deckbuilding!
I feel like Tom's 3 braincells are working overtime playing this game
Played this a bit and my god is it a Tom game! So hyped to see you playing this!
Tom "Misplay" Clark
Woah, my two favorite mobile games combined into one!
it's like peanut butter and Jam, both good on their own, both good together.
