Enjoy everyone! Please be kind, I haven't played a Civilization game in many many years but you've been requesting it so here it is! Please do leave some tips and tricks and have an awesome weekend!
Keralis you can get a technology later on to turn the forest into mills that give you more production or you can just chop them earlier on and just get some production to whatever you were building in the city but don't get any later benefits
By the way, the first woman you met is really against your backstabbing strategy, so I might have some caution. That's why she starts by warning you not to do it.
Jadwiga was the first female monarch of Poland between 1384-1399, she was also called Hedwig in German or the original Hungarian Hedvig. she was the daughter of King Louis I (Louis the great) he was the king of Hungary and Poland and also the daughter of Elizabeth of Bosnia. Originally when Louis died in 1382 his first daughter Maria was queen but then the 2 countries split and named Jadwiga as queen of Poland even though she was only 9 at the time. she was later crowned in 1384 when she came of age to rule. she married Jogaila in 1386 and the countries of Lithuania and Poland united, she died in childbirth in 1399 at the age of 26 and without heir so Jogaila became king of Poland and Lithuania.
Jadwiga is the first and the only queen of Poland. She was daugher of Ludwik Adegaweński. While She was ruling Poland was being developed very quickly. She has built a lot of churches hospitals and put a lot of money on education for example she lent lots of cash for Krakow's University which names Jagielloński (cause of Kazimierz the Great from Jagielloński dynasty who has built it in 1364, four years before death)
During this series i will help you out (i have over 1000 hours in this game) to start explore a lot for tribal villages and yes the person telling you things is Sean Bean indeed
It's a good thing than that he narrates here, no one will kill him off too soon :) I need to play the game in English dub than, had no idea he did the voice overs.
Yaaay! Been hoping so much that you would play this! Hope you play many campaigns! Yaaaaay! :D You totally made my day, and now I will watch the video :D
Civilization is an amazing game that you should play. I’m so happy your doing civ again. Warning: Much different from before, lots of stressful strategy
I played this game to death, it is EXCELLENT... but to get back into it with fresh eyes, watching Keralis?!? I love this channel, and I am very excited about this series.
Food for thought, if you found a city on hill plains you will get more yield. Settling on an luxuries resource gives you instant trade option for that resources which you can trade it to other civ to boost your income. Mountain is your best friend in general, you gain more yield from science and religion. You can bring up the yield for each tiles by pressing "y"
Tribal villages are called goody huts for good reason. They always provide something ranging from good to neutral.you might get help to research new tech or just a scout
In Civ 5, every building was built inside the city tile. In Civ 6, only a few buildings are in the city. The rest are built in one of 12 district tiles. Science buildings are built in the campus district, culture in theatre square, economic in commercial hub, etc. Also, you're playing a Faith-focused civ, so you would benefit from keeping that in mind. (you might want a holy site district sooner than later)
Keralis don't be like that keralis. your voice is good too. man you are hilarious in every gameplay and a great gamer too. but if you have sean bean voice, man maybe every your gameplay would be epic. anyways, keep this series up keralis. always loved your work, especially with cities skylines. man how i loved your city.
Keralis oh and dont forget to build a national park in that natural wonder mountain. it will require 4 vertical shape hexagon and the space require a space from one city too. so planned you city well near the natural wonders and have its space around the natural wonders. it will be available when you reached natural park civic or something like that in revolution age or atomic age. it will boost your tourism and look very beautiful too for your empire. cheers.
I think you should have settled in place. Settling on a hill gives base production, plus you were in range of 3 immediate resources and near mountains which give district bonuses. Also building a slinger early on and killing a barbarian gives a boost to archery. And there's no point in improving tiles if you're city isn't big enough to work them. If your city is a size of 5 it's only working 5 tiles plus when you make a settler the city shrinks. Basic tips are food is for making the city grow and production is how fast your city builds. Also an early scout is helpful for getting boosts, money or units from finding villages(where you got the first builder), to find a new continent, ai or natural wonder also gives a boosts to research or you can find a city state first and gain friendship with them. Basically to beat the ai to everything. In the future if you intent on building a harbor district it gets bonuses from adjacent sea-resources. Industrial districts get bonuses from adjacent mines. Farms get bonuses if they are in a triangle. Basically everything has bonuses and reading is fundamental.
You get a free builder when building your first city, don't waste your builders like that, you should have started with mining to boost your production, you should have built your city to the first place it gave you cause there were 2 stone to boost your production, 2 rice to boost your happiness and possibly trade one with the other guy and you had a mountain to help defend and if you want to build a boat and if you want to have the fish, it is not enough to have a territory in water but your city has to be on the coast
For coastal cities, the harbor is a district, taking its own tile. This means the city doesn't have to be settled directly on the coast and its more secure from sea invasion.
Perfect birthday gift!!! Thank you Keralis! Also (JUST SAYING you do not need to play it :) ) but since you like to make everything birdy then Caesar 4 or even Children of the Nile is just the perfect thing for you. But for now I am going to enjoy Civilization :)
you may know this, but the boosts in research are very helpful.you can start researching a tech then stop and wait for boost or get boost then research it.
You got a free builder unit from that tribal Village Settle near a coast will eureka Sailing the natural wonder will increase Science around that place districts work simple everything has a use so does Campus boost science industrial zone does production etc The purple things are kinda your laws how you rule your Kingdom
Try to choose how you want to win as soon as possible, and work towards that goal. That way, you have more chance of winning. You don’t need to focus only on winning, but just keep your goal in the back of your head.
it´s allways NICE to see some NOOB-Play on that special series...Play like you want, don´t let influence yourself too much and this one could become a Special nice one in your "to watch"-list :)I myself will follow that Poland up to the end now...HOOKED!!! :)
Hey Keralis, just a quick tip. Focus a little more on food production because with increased food production theres more baby making,. This is important because as you saw at around 12:20 you are at the citizen management page and only 4 of your tiles are being worked even though you have 9 tile. So if you make more babies you can work more tiles and have improved production and what not. P.S. im pumped that youre playing Civ6!!
Civilization is my favorite game series. I've played 1-4 plus call to power. Get kinda OCD with my fractions. I always play the ancient world ones. I start with the oldest. I call my leader name Chuck_I and so on in chronological order.
Enjoy everyone! Please be kind, I haven't played a Civilization game in many many years but you've been requesting it so here it is! Please do leave some tips and tricks and have an awesome weekend!
Keralis hey you broke rule 1 don’t move your first settler
The WillardFTW You can move your first settler, but you must settle on turn one
You really want to plan out your districts and cities, randomness usually leads to a lot of missed benefits that you may regret
WINGED HUSSARS! ua-cam.com/video/75zmIj_4LFQ/v-deo.html
Best rockband of Sweden!
Keralis Aa, älskar Sabaton och det här är en av deras bästa låtar

I subscribed, turned on notifications and liked the video!
+Canuck Is that where the Jagellion came from?
Jadwiga is the first and the only queen of Poland. She was daugher of Ludwik Adegaweński. While She was ruling Poland was being developed very quickly. Well.. kinda. She was a king of Poland, not queen :P
maciek22999 First She was King, after this Queen
Kazimierz was from Piast dynasty. It was Cracow Academy at the time. It was renamed Jagiellonian University later.
That's right my fault :)
Mikołaj Moch Jadwiga was king even after marriage with Jagiełło.
Keralis and Civ, a good combination!
I literally screamed when I saw the notification
Ah! Great to see you playing this
During this series i will help you out (i have over 1000 hours in this game) to start explore a lot for tribal villages and yes the person telling you things is Sean Bean indeed
I thought the voice and accent sounded familiar.
Grzegorz Szulc he is amazing in this game Firaxis did a typical Go big or go home
He should try to rush technology
so that means campus
Also there are in the city menu focus buttons which focus you on a producto, food, money, etc.
It's a good thing than that he narrates here, no one will kill him off too soon :)
I need to play the game in English dub than, had no idea he did the voice overs.
Acronym0 In my other comment it says this too

Finally, Civ6
btw yes it is Sean Bean
and btw again i wish it was advanced setup, because it gives more control over the game
It's all about Districts, and Wonders now take up a tile on the map.
I played this game to death, it is EXCELLENT... but to get back into it with fresh eyes, watching Keralis?!? I love this channel, and I am very excited about this series.

This is amazing! So excited to watch. Been hoping a good UA-camr would play this game!
Very good. I used to love the old civ games, I've not seen this one so this is new to me. Nice work as always!
This is one of my favorite games! Thank you for playing it :)
Evil Keralis- "Just in case she back stabs us, as my intention is"

I love civilization and keralis(one of the greatest youtuber)
Really waiting forward for the next episode! Keep it up Keralis!
When you build cities directly next to a river, you get a health/sanitation bonus. You can also build unique city improvements.
Try to found a city by the water for trade and resources. It would also help drive out the barbarians and increase your shere of influence.
Yes!! Finally been waiting for you to do the civ games
Yay, finally you are playing civilization, dont stop.
Wow... I was thinking about 3hrs ago whether I should buy this game and BAM, top my suggested videos. I am looking forward to this series :-)

I wish for a voice like that....oh boy! ASMR with a Sean Bean voice. :)
Keralis don't be like that keralis. your voice is good too. man you are hilarious in every gameplay and a great gamer too. but if you have sean bean voice, man maybe every your gameplay would be epic.

Keralis I guess civ6 would be better if you voiced it XD
Sean Bean is the voice of Civ 6's tech tree quotes.
I subbed pretty recently and so far not regretting it at all
Keralis playing Civ6? I have to see this!
Indeed, that's Sean Bean.
Keralis playing Civ??? Let's gooooo
I love it when you play games I love. Thanks!!

Finally, a UA-camr that can pronounce the names right!!
You got that random builder from the first Tribal Village you explored. lol
For coastal cities, the harbor is a district, taking its own tile. This means the city doesn't have to be settled directly on the coast and its more secure from sea invasion.
Jadwiga was a polish queen, but she was called king because of tradition. Also, she ruled centuries befor winged hussars
Perfect birthday gift!!! Thank you Keralis! Also (JUST SAYING you do not need to play it :) ) but since you like to make everything birdy then Caesar 4 or even Children of the Nile is just the perfect thing for you. But for now I am going to enjoy Civilization :)

Try to choose how you want to win as soon as possible, and work towards that goal. That way, you have more chance of winning. You don’t need to focus only on winning, but just keep your goal in the back of your head.
You really should get the Rise and Fall expansion pack. It really changes the game, especially mid and late stages.

Me: BOI! Your soar throat is the normal sound of keralis!
