I really hate the ghetto conditions that create the circumstances where a lot of young boys end up in the streets, then in court up against a system that created them in the first place. There should be laws that are just as strict about healthy neighborhoods, schools, responsible parenting and community services. The villages are failing the children.

Everything you said was correct however the only difference was that the 1 yr behind the wall was already being offered as “time served” so both these dudes in fact just past up on literally being able to potentially walk out those doors today if all paperwork & timing goes right. So nothing u said was wrong just the fact that the 1 yr was already being considered as time served. Can’t say they always just throwing the book at a brotha when u got multi felony criminal histories & yet being given the deal of a lifetime, literally potential between life & death anyway, & yet that street cred got them minds so twisted.
