Atlanta rapper Young Thug is in court on Thursday morning for a bond hearing in his RICO gang case. Young Thug is accused by the Fulton County District Attorney of being a leader and organizer of the Young Slime Life street gang.
The court session begins at 9 a.m. It's not clear when exactly the bond hearing itself will begin.

Our judicial system is supposed to approach individuals as "innocent until proven guilty", and denying people bond is in direct conflict to this. Why can the court not just require an ankle bracelet to monitor his location. He can't be much of a *direct* threat can he be sitting in his home - More importantly, I'm sure anything he can do from his residence, he can also do from the county/city jail.

Thug would come to my daughters job with his children from time to time. What stood out about him to me is he remembered her name after the initial interaction. She said he was very humble and down to earth. I hope he learns from this situation.
