I did some experimenting with the amber shards. A Max haste mote wisp + max sprint speed and parkour velocity (including shards with velocity buff) in wisp is faster than gauss. If you "roll" forward while sprinting (not bullet jumping) you beat gauss with mach rush and redline active. Throw in runtime(parazon) and dispatch overdrive(melee) and i swear to you, you can cross the plains in 11 seconds. Its dumb fun.
Y'all keep forgetting Titania can still do that shit in half the time with just her augment.

@@hikarihakai1285 plus dispatch, runtime, and haste mote stack into archwing. its anything that adds flat sprint speed/movement speed. so do all of that + infested mobility and volt buff and watch pure madness.

I mained this playstyle months ago on the steel path.
At the time, my budget build was:
Any Aura, Any Exilus, Flow, Streamline, Overextended, 36% Umbral Intensify, Augur Secrets, Stretch, Continuity, Constitution/Rolling Guard, Madurais casting speed bonus
Final/my last version:
Sprint Boost, Rush, Primed Flow, Primed Continuity, Augur Secrets, 36% or higher Umbral intensify(strength only needs 100% for Kinetic Plating), Streamline, Stretch, Overxtended, Natural Talent, Madurai.
This would let you shred hordes of grineer in steel path up to level cap and had all you need, CC, Tank, Speed, Armor Strip, minor weapon damage boosting, and NUKE. Damage scaling went crazy high but is hindered by limits on heat procs and heavily hindered by innate damage reduction not caused by armor.
As a gauss main I approve

I never saw this buff, I play gauss all the time but I usually just run roar on him over his 3 and make him into a weapon platform, I'm gonna have to play around with some helminths.
Using a helminth on one of his best nuke ability is a crime. In fact using a helminth on gauss is a crime overall
