+Quadflopper101 hi there! Thanks for the encouragement. I recently did a video that is called “do I have to use gesso” I’ll find the link & post it here in another reply. I hope that clears up some of your questions. The term “seal” that others may be using isn’t quite accurate, more that it actually primes the canvas for the paint. The canvas doesn’t really need to be sealed off from the paint, it just needs to be prepared for the paint- which is what gesso does. Any consistency will work but there are times when you might like some over others. I do have a playlist that is all about gesso so definitely check that out! Oh & im about to post 2 more videos that have to do with gesso. One is a clear gesso & how to make it & why you want to use it. The other video is to do an update on all of my diy gesso recipes to see how they’ve done over time & if they are still working & if it works to store them for a time.
My god it took until 8:50 to even get to the recipe and even that was dragged out. I appreciate the effort of sharing these videos but no one needs a 20 minute DIY video that’s more talking about nothing than talking about the thing you’re doing.
Yes, for you possibly...it would have been beneficial. Others tell me they want me to explain more. So you can’t please everyone. If only all the UA-cam viewers in the world were exactly the same right?
But if I’m not mistaken you asked for feedback, it would be advantageous to receive it. If feedback isn’t what you were looking for you should probably turn off comments. I look at a lot of videos as well and I’m still learning but too much talking turns people away. Actually it’s not about pleasing anyone, embracing your art and what you introduce to the world is amazing and it comes with positive and negative. My comment is neither positive or negative just feedback and thank you for your feedback!
+Renate French remember that you can adjust the playback speed so the video goes faster but you don’t miss anything. I do try to talk less but some people are just the way they are. I edit out as much as I can- I’m doing the best I can.
Sorry, but that’s kind of ingrained in me at this point...everyone has things they do that others find annoying. I try & minimize my hand movements but it’s pretty hard if that’s just the kind of person you are. I wonder if you started filming UA-cam tutorials if you would have anything that others find annoying? It’s hard to please all the people that could possibly watch my tutorials. Do you have a more constructive criticism?

Nails clicking = asmr. Nice "touch"
Recipe at 11:35 Thank you!
Good joB
The video is good but its seems draggy and that your showing off your nails which are pretty btw.
alot of talking!
My god it took until 8:50 to even get to the recipe and even that was dragged out. I appreciate the effort of sharing these videos but no one needs a 20 minute DIY video that’s more talking about nothing than talking about the thing you’re doing.
Spent wayyyyy to much time talking, about other things.... it would have been beneficial to focus on the topic of the video
Way too much unnecessary chatter
Too much tapping, I already have a headache.
🙄
Thanks. I was able to make it through the long winded and useless explanation before the recipe.
You’re welcome. I was able to continue to film tutorials even through your immature and useless comment.
Please less talk more action!
Rude people!
Thank you for the recipe. Just a bit of advice. You could make it easier to watch by talking less and going faster.
+Renate French remember that you can adjust the playback speed so the video goes faster but you don’t miss anything. I do try to talk less but some people are just the way they are. I edit out as much as I can- I’m doing the best I can.
Stop using your hands so much. Just get to the point.
I think I made my point.
Okay Karen 🙄
Way to much talking!
My God ! Why do you have to repit The same thing over and over .
+Eva Montone oh i don’t know. Because it’s one of annoying tendencies I guess. What’s yours? 🙄
