  • In this video, we discuss how different economies recover from recession and the shapes that the recoveries take.
In particular, we also discuss the K-shaped recovery post the CoVID-19 pandemic, and what that means for different sectors and different sections of the population.
Finally, we discuss what these shapes mean for common people like us and how should we prepare for such recessionary phases.

Good evening madam. What is your motto of presentation of the videos. My view is to educate the people of the country to understand the economics so as to become part of the development of the country. My suggestion is that try to simplify the subject so that public can understand easily and implement in their personal life. I am observing in many of the TV interviews and discussions that they don't teach the subject to the viewers. Economic development is not only the responsibility of a section of people of the country. It is the responsibility of every individual. Unfortunately this kind of visualisation is missing in politicians and also in common public. My earnest request is that try to make the videos to motivate the people to become part of the development of the country. Thank you madam

Mam, I have a question that a degree from Delhi University and any renowned university is important to be well-turned like you have degree of SRCC because I heard it many times and your work is admirable. I think if I listen to you continuously I will also be a B.A in economics thanks a lot and best wishes and please answer that question.

Because India jumped directly from the Primary (Agriculture) sector to Services sector, leaving Manufacturing behind. Manufacturing sector will always require considerable amount of support and upliftment from the government, which is not possible every time and this will always keep some industries in the lower end of the K shaped graph you explained.
Can there be a better solution to this from macroeconomic perspective (through some policies, PLI's, better credit opportunities etc.) ?

Madam, Nice video on economic recoveries. Really helps in understanding different form of recoveries and it’s significance. You have once used word ‘forecasted’. Is it right to use as there is no ed for of word forecast.
