Yes of course, and it's always the same process for other excess defense articles even for land and naval assets. Every asset will undergo a refurbishment process which will be handled either by the donor country which in the case of the Barak is Israel, or the origin of the technology, which in the case of the F-16 is the United States because they hold the patent for every technology used in the F-16.
Incase these air assets will be sold to PH. There will be an inspection as a mandatory part of the deal.
@@alpharomeo2160 yes, thats for sure, and before any transfer will take place, PAF with their technical group will inspect the aircraft and will check their records as well. This will take place before the United States and Israeli governments approval will be given, and after the approval is Granted, the refurbishment works will take place to those aircraft chosen by PAF after the thorough inspection of the aircraft and it's records.
