    Uplift makes a real quality product. I got mine together last night with the help of my college student son. It did take close to two hours, but the directions are mostly pretty clear. The smallest size they make is 42x24, which is still pretty big honestly. It is a SUPER solid piece of furniture. Something that'll last forever probably. I'm super happy with it.

    I bought one and love it. It helps with my shoulder and back pain too. It’s totally worth your money if you are one of those working from home ppl and needs to be in front of computer almost 24/7

    Thanks for the video! I actually chatted with Uplift’s customer service. Their frames are adjustable to accommodate different width tops, so you can upgrade to a larger desk by just replacing the top.

    Thanks for your insights on the desk. I'm eventually going to get one, but as you mentioned, it is an expensive desk. Keep up the good work.

    I'm surprised this video has so little views considering how high quality the production value is
    Keep up the good content and views will come

    No those are not real cons. As for as the size, that was your choice. The weight? Try one their wheel casters options for mobility. And as for the price, you can't argue against a product line that offers a 15 year warranty on all parts unlike some of their competitors. My only real con is the square edge desktop themselves. I can use that but I much preferred rounded corners of my desktops. Looks better and is safer to have but uplift no longer has them as an option. So I'll be pairing my uplift frame with another brand's rounded corner desktop. Peace

    Thanks, Stephf, for the informative video!...QUESTION: How large a monitor is possible with a sit/stand desk?

    • @stephf
      @stephf  Рік тому

      I currently have a 35inch widescreen monitor on mine! Because the desk is deep enough at 30inches, I think you can have a pretty big monitor

    Thanks for the video! Question, how come you have 2 laptop stands? Is one for personal and one for work? Which laptop stands do you have? Do you use a separate keyboard for each laptop? Thanks in advance for all my questions lol

    • @stephf
      @stephf  Рік тому +3

      Yeah exactly! I have one for work and one for my personal laptop. I use the same keyboard for both, and I just use Bluetooth on one and USB on the other so it’s quicker to switch between them. I also got a screen with two hdmi ports so I can easily switch that too. The laptop stands are from Amazon and they’re great!

    Does the white laminate top, or do the white legs, get dirty or scratched easily? Why'd you choose it over wood? Thanks so much for the video - I watched it through.

    • @stephf
      @stephf  Рік тому +2

      No it doesn’t get scratched or dirty easily! I think it’s good quality. I also wipe it down every so often when I’m doing general cleaning. I chose white to match my other furniture. Sorry for my late reply!

    You can actually just buy a new desktop and use the existing frame. I recommend the flexispot bamboo curved top. It's 55x28 inches which fits small spaces better than uplifts 60x30.

    Good review. Is it still working good? I am considering the Commercial V2 with the crossbar. Any tips or other models you have researched and can recommend please?
    FYI, don't stay with barefoot on that matt. Forever chemical soup for sure. Health is my thing.
    YES, I think the larger 48" would have been the perfect size. It will be more stable too than a longer one.
    Heavy desk is good- usually means it is more stable.
    It's pricey but good value. You get a 15 year warranty. If you have to replace a cheaper one in a few years, you would lose value. I bought a Lexus. Seemed pricey but it's been the least expensive car I have ever owned. Buy the best quality you can afford.
    Thanks for the video/tips. Nice dog! Get something to go over head- we have a poodle. He loves that shelter- makes them feel secure.
    Namaste.

    Wow 500 dollars! 🙄 This desk is extremely well priced for the quality. Sure you can get a junk standing desk for 200 dollars on Wayfair. What if I told you I wouldn't consider less than 1000 dollars for a computer desk until I found out about Uplift. I can't stand poorly made products just to save money. If I buy something I want it to last a very long time. The fact that you can get this desk this good with a wood top or bamboo for only 600 dollars insane. I bought two. One for my wife because she is short and the commercial stand drops all the way down to 22 inches. Since she works from home 8-10 hours a day I wanted her to have something very ergonomic. I bought the 72x30 inch with the Acacia chevron butcherblock top. I have two 34 inch curved quantum dot OLED monitors and still have so much extra room.

    sadly, 700-800 bucks is mid-range for a standup desk (maybe on the high-end of mid-range).

    • @stephf
      @stephf  Рік тому +1

      I’m anxious right now 😂 I also still have sleeping issues, but I am managing it a lot better especially if I am dealing with the anxiety first. What helped me was finding a good therapist who pointed out the root cause of things for me and that’s when everything clicked. Can’t be fixed completely but manageable

    Bought 2 of their Pheasant wood tops.
    One of them arrived cracked. AND NOT A LITTLE crack! AND NO shipping damage to the box.
    My theory is they have ZERO quality control.
    I won't buy again.
    Oh, and they have 50,000 people who answer the phone and they all will give you the run around.
    Too many red flags
