- See You Soon - It's time to take a bit of time off rather than trying to maintain a sort of 'semi-working' that I've been doing before. I need some time away from the PC and to spend with family so I'm heading back to the UK for a while. Content will return later this month, thank you for all the support so far.

I do it too. It's totally valid. Give your healing the good old Rambler try, and hunt down those intrusive thoughts with your overpowered CAS! You got this, brother. I'll be here when you get back and we can celebrate your healing together!
As someone that has lived away from their family for a long time, reconnecting with them is always a good thing. It does wonders to your social battery to spend some time with them. Have a good time with your family and cheers from a fan from Brazil!
Hey Alex, your situation really speaks to me on many levels.
This break is definitely the right decision. It's better to take a step back, receive the love that you deserve from your family and friends in the UK and find ways to focus on what and who you love, and of course, yourself!
I personally had to go through the same thing twice in the past 2-3 years. I'm currently on the verge of getting back to work after a month break. I really wish you all the best. Micromanage your life instead of "battleplaning" it ! ;-)

I’ve been keeping up with your channel for a long time now. I was 16 when I found your videos, and now I’m 23, working on my senior thesis in history and graduating from university in a month. Your content has been a constant source of comfort in my life for a long time. I’m sure I’m not the only one with this experience, so don’t be afraid of people forgetting you while you take some time for yourself. I’ve been struggling with my mental health too recently and I understand. This whole community is behind you. Life’s a struggle but we’re all in it together. Peace and love from the USA ❤
Thank you for speaking about your problems Alex, it's really important to change the stigma around men's mental health so I applaud you for talking openly about it. Really hope you get the help and rest you need and enjoy your time in the UK.
I feel this so much. While in some circles I see the term "mental health" now being used way too liberally, making me think "do you even know what you're actually talking about?", it is so good to see Alex talk about this more freely. It is clear he is serious about it, that it's not a cry for attention in any way, and that by talking about it he is actually already fighting his demons that tell him it's his fault, that he should be ashamed of it and that he should deal with it quietly on his own.
It’s been so great to watch you on your journey from all those years ago. Everyone is in your corner. Alex have a nice rest and I hope to see you rambling again soon.
I struggle with anxiety and depression too and can appreciate the need to unplug from the world. Take some time. We'll be here.

I’ve been away in London with my girlfriend for Easter and just saw this. I’m all with you Alex - recuperate and just have some ‘you time’ before you come back stronger than ever! We all love you and all support you in no matter what you do. Lethal Company was ace and the Hoi4 is as awesome as ever. Just keep strong and see the positives in life everyday brother. Never give up Alex - we love your rambles and updates no matter how long they may be. Stay strong and knew that you have fans who love your work

I personally find your content very entertaining across the different games you play, I don’t even play HOI4 but it’s entertaining watching you play it. Alex I can't say- "Oh yeah man you will be fine, it is just another challenge that you need to overcome", but i would say that in such times we should let ourselves to at least attempt silver lining. It is a clichéd phrase to say s - There will always be a sun under the clouds, but I will say it. You have managed to build a strong community throughout the years, so we understand fully that you may wish to take a break.

Good luck! I work as a mental health nurse and a lot of people like aromatherapy while with us, lavender is the favorite scent. Also what works for me was getting coloring books and color by numbers. There is something satisfactory about filling in those boxes. But I'm glad you are taking this seriously.
