Co-workers (join/form a union!) and former co-workers (you have likely already trauma bonded!) are fertile grounds for community. You spend so many hours together already, clearly there's some bond there. Just nurture it. Personally, I've been organizing meat nights with the lads every month or so. We've done ribs and wings, for April it's gonna be burgers.
Great video! I'm usually afraid to try new things but I will start trying to overcome that fear. And you're definitely right, my "interests" aren't that important, in comparison to just meeting people, finding communities, and learning new cool stuff. Thank you!
You don't need to partake to participate in the stoner community, honestly if you can just make sure you bring along the snackies and good vibes and I'm sure they'll be happy to have you in the group.
I think your channel got a lot of potential so here's some criticism -Mic quality isn't bad, but since there's a zillion people doing this sort of content then getting a proper one would seriously increase the quality of the videos. If you're operating on a tight budget then there are still good models out there for a quick buck, but if you're already gonna be throwing out money than better make it worth it, I recommend a Blue Yeti or some other equivalent -A fun trick you can do to bait people's attention is to have the text on screen appear for less time than it physically readable (especially toward the start), this will get some people to try to pause and their effort spent doing so will make quitting halfway feel like a lost cause The current slower title cards are still nice thought and add personality so don't remove those - Just. Keep. Going! I can tell that your channel will not be one of explosive growth suddenly but more of an exponential one as the videos pile on and become bingeable. Nolifers (me) loooove finding smth we find mildly interesting, calling it a phase or smth and then just mindlessly watching for god knows how long So just keep pumping out content and dont let occasional low numbers phase you I like leaving comments like these because I neither have no community for the longest time and without em my social skills have also severely deteriorated, and pretending to be useful gives the tiniest bit of satisfaction
Choirs are a great hobby. You get to meet a lot of fun people and learning how to control your voice properly is extremely rewarding.
