Let me know if you try any of these stretching videos! 🤩 Thanks for watching everyone. It really means a lot ❤ I hope you have a great rest of your day!
I did #2 yesterday! Good! I Like learning a new routine and a new stretch or two! Today I enjoyed #6! Full body, good flow, good timer! Looking forward to trying more and growing my list! Thanks!!
Stretching in the evening is the best! Not only is it scientifically proven that you tend to be less flexible in the morning, I also totally agree with you on it giving you a nice opportunity to focus on yourself, your breathing and getting ready for bed.
@user-lx7ci3gg5f I wouldn't necessarily say it's bad to stretch in the morning because that's when you're more stiff! If it feels right, it feels right:) Exhausted muscles, mental stress and so many other things can affect how stretchy you are. I just personally feel better stretchkng after my body has relaxed a bit during the day, means less risk for injury as well
It really depends on where you reference, as the counterargument for AM stretching suggests that our joints and our spine are less compressed after laying down from sleeping while prone, compared to standing, sitting, and moving in an upright position throughout the day and then stretching. However, I wouldn't recommend stretching cold muscles/joints, so a brief warmup should also be included in the AM if that's when it happens. I waffle back and forth when I do it. I sometimes also do it in my office midday, during lunch, as my strength training or cardio takes precedence in the PM so I can focus on quality movements without rushing in the AM. Heavy workouts in the PM also help me sleep like a rock 😴 Regardless, the "when" shouldn't be a deciding factor as long as you're able to be consistent and safe with your regimen. Listen to your body. It gives you feedback 💪
Girl I'm telling you are gonna be bigggg. The quality of your videos, the charisma and creativity you personality carries is so unique!! Keep goinggg, supporting from here
Omg. I'm 32 years old and the last time I exercised was like... Never. I really hated everything and I was so bad I didn't wanted to do it or try anything. But boy... I tried after watching this video. I started only 15 minutes per day and now I do 40 minutes everyday! Like every single day and has been more than one month now! I really love the feeling. I never realized how much daily pain I had in my body until I stopped feeling it. And everyday I can stretch a little bit further so it's also great for my confidence. Thank you so much! ❤
Love this! My favorite stretch person on youtube is Mady Morrison, I like the beeps indicating the position change, chill energy and no talking, super relaxing.
I don't do it often, but when I try to stretch before going to bed, I found that it helps me fall asleep, which is important for someone that has trouble with initially falling asleep.
I am an extremely tired mum, my back, neck, spine, hips for lack of a better word are wonky post birth and just carrying around a heavy little boy. I absolutely need to stretch more but use every excuse not too. This is the motivation I needed. I will start tonight!
your videos are the most uplifting, entertaining and motivational i’ve found on youtube! you’re making me make plans to hike and look up new stretching videos (my favorite is madfit’s “30 min full body”, i used to do it everyday for months back in 2020)
I wanted to say thank you for something you said in one of your other videos. you were talking about finding motivation to go work out and you said, 'you're NEVER going to be in the mood, so it's on you to just go do it!' i was having one of those mornings today, where the last thing i wanted to do was go for a run, but i got on the damn treadmill and ran two miles and felt great afterward. the perspective shift you offered really helped and i appreciate it. hope you're having a great day.
I love your fitness videos, I love that you share you experience rather than just telling us what to do and I love that you make it feel so accessible. The cardio video got me trying all new things and going to Rec Centres for the first time, the walking video got me wearing a FitBit and counting my steps and I'm totally going to do a 30 Day Stretch Challenge too now. I love Flexibility & Stretching by FitStar Apps. Watching all the Ads just for you :D
I had never considered how much music impacts a workout. I hadn’t made the distinction that a workout with copyright music versus not would be so different. It makes so much sense! Definitely valuable. Thanks for pointing that out.
I am a Sunday league soccer player in my mid 40's, I play 3-4 times per week and I had noticed my legs feeling pretty tight and not as mobile recently. I always do a light stretching routine before playing, but apparently it wasn't enough. Well you've inspired me to find some videos and start stretching. So now I've done a ~15 minute stretch (usually Madfit's channel) every day for about two weeks and it really is helping. Not just my game but overall I feel great. I will keep going too. Thanks for this!
This is what i needed because i usually get through the first week and a half and see nothing and give up. Often videos seem to give unrealistic outcomes, this shows me that if i just keep going a bit longer ill start to see small changes. Which is exactly what i needed to hear
Your videos are so adorable and positive! I love progress videos so much and seeing you enjoy and portray realistic struggles is really refreshing. Keep it up Makari!
I’ve learned to include these videos in my self care toolkit because they’re so freaking funny! You always put a smile on my face and tbh belly laughter too. Keep up the good work! You’re medicine girl!!
I love your energy in your videos and your smile is just infectious. I’ve been having a slump in where I am in life right now, but seeing your progress and perseverance makes me want to try too. Keep it up on your own time and take care of yourself in the process!
Your videos always make me feel motivated. Like I was literally reading a book cause I thought of your reading video!! Then I looked at my phone and saw your new upload and watched that instead hehe
Thank you so much for this video. I would have never thought this would happen, but these 20 minutes on my yoga mat each night feel like a tiny wellness vacation. I don't follow your channel for too long but you've already encouraged me to try stretching, to see running as something enjoyable and generally reminded me that nothing good is ever easy. Seeing you working hard and not giving up helps me to feel less alone with that process and it's soooo empowering. And on top of that you seem absolutely adorable and really make me laugh (and cringe sometimes too, but in the good way ;) ) Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the idea on using stretching as a transition activity between work and home. I've really struggled with morning or evening stretching consistently, so this just felt like a light bulb switching on 🤩
Ok! Took your (and other subscribers’) recommendations and tried Tim’s stretch/mobility/yoga vid after the treadmill! Your stretches in your vid make more sense now! And loved Tim’s descriptions, modifications, pace, and voice! I echo what you said, ‘Thanks, Tim!’ Thanks, Makari!
I started doing yoga a few months back and it has been life changing for me. I always carry so much stress in my body. Every morning I through on a 15-20 min yoga video and then after every workout a 10-15 min video (or just evening). I feel so much better in my body.
I love all of your videos! Your personality is amazing and just when I thought I couldn’t love you any more, you mentioned you love showtunes! 🎭 💛 👏🏼 You’ve inspired me to start running every morning and it has been truly life changing! I am so much happier and energized - it has had such a positive effect on me not only physically, but mentally, spiritually, and emotionally! I think my husband and I are going to start stretching now, too! Your results solidified it for me. Thanks for being an inspiration and such a bright light! ☀️ You do a lot more for people than you may realize. :)
i love your videos so much! it's such a joy watching you challenging yourself and reflecting on it. most time of the week i'm living like a couchpotato after work. so i need inspiration/motivation to get up and use my time better. thank you for your content! ❤
I did a stretch class at the YWCA when I was 21 in 1962. I have used what I learned then, ever since ( now I’m 73), and I hate excercise! About the same time I found Nivea face cream. So my mantra for every day is “Stretch, Moisturize”. It has worked out really really well.
Ugh I just love your videos! I’ve also been trying to stretch more often recently because I have the same problem of tough workouts and long days of sitting making my lil body sore. It’s suuuch a lovely practice. 🥰
Your videos motivate me so much. I was really afraid of going to the gym but I wanted to do it for 8 years now. After watching your 30 days of cardio video and seeing that you tried so many different sports for the first time I finally went to the gym. And it was amazing. I felt so good afterwards. Thank you so much for your content, it is inspiering. I hope you could understand what I just wrote. Because I am German and I am not the best english speaker/writer. 🥰
This is so cool to hear Rebecca!! Thank you for sharing :) And I understood everything, your english is amazing andI appreciate you putting up with the majority of us North Americans who only speak 1 or 2 languages 😆
Started watching because of your cycling video and 6 videos later here we are. You’re a bit of a dork and I know that sounds like an insult but I think it’s part of your appeal. Bit of a goofball which is cool. I also like the creative cuts and edits you use. The ones where you went camping and used your body as the letters of the title I thought was very creative. Great channel, great content. Well done.
I'm really impressed by your ability to follow through on your goals. I am working on doing better in that regard myself. Today I did my first workout this year. I'm hoping to incorporate more movement into my schedule but its so easy to just push it to "tomorrow". How do you keep showing up and being consistent?
Honestly, I'm really motivated by you and everyone who watches! Reading everyone's comments about how they're trying to accomplish their goals inspires me to put my best effort into mine and sharing it with you. Outside of youtube, I start really small. I've been struggling to get back to weights lately. So instead of jumping back into my usual routine of 40 minute workouts, I'm keeping a consistent schedule of 20 minutes of weights 5 days a week - because I can convince myself to do anything for 20 minutes! On a smaller scale, I did a "challenge" a few years ago where I did yoga everyday for 3 months (not a video). Some days that just meant showing up and laying on my mat for 5 minutes. Really just any little thing to give myself credit for helps me stick to a routine :)
I found your videos a few days ago and you've quickly become one of my favorite UA-camrs. Kind of a perfect blend of Wheezy Waiter and Mia Maples. You inspired me to delete all the scrolling apps from my phone, so thanks for that, haha.
julia reppel is THE best she has a mixture of mobility and stretches and infinite videos for so many different levels and includes mobility focused work outs too - she is for sure my go to :D
This was such a great video! I always put aside stretching for similar reasons, and honestly, until the last few years, flexibility was the least of my problems (super mobile joints) but these days with more strength work, I feel like I need to get back to it. So thanks for the reminder! I think I might try the Vertue Method stretch module but your peloton stretch videos looked awesome! Keep being awesome, looking forward to your next video!
I don't think I've seen somebody smile more than Makari. I feel like it could be raining lava and fire tornadoes and Makari would be like 🙂🙂🙂🙂 "well this isn't ideal!" 🙂🙂🙂🙂
God dam it !!! Why the hell do you have to be so infectiously nice !!! Most videos I watch I can happy skip from one creator to another but with u it’s like be Hypnotised and I have to watch more of u !!! Love your energy witch seems so natural for u and get the vibe that this is exactly who u are camera or no camera. Keep up the great work
my gosh thanks for introducing me to Tim!!! I didn't realise, I naturally choose female led videos because of the obvious I guess. But until I watched Tim (via your channel) I didn't realise I was always down watching these beautiful strong female bodies doing things I cannot do, but I'd carry on anyway and just shelve the sadness. But I do NOT mind that I look nothing like Tim :) I am a-OK not having abs, arms and pecs like his lol but enjoy the view none-the-less. It's easier to follow too.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the sound effects! 👏👏👏 You’re awesome, never change! ❤ Re Q: my favourite has always been yoga with Adrienne on UA-cam because her sessions are really accessible and she is good vibes. Recommend. Also- how do you have time to do everything in your day 🫣?
I was so excided to see this video pop up this morning!!! love this video, love a good stretch haha. my favourite app is just stretching excerises 😊 they have a feature where you can create your own customised stretching routines which is the only thing I use it for. very handy!! thanks for sharing with us Makari! ❤
Amazing improvement!!! Thanks for sharing your faves! I’ve been using my Apple Fitness for stretching but I’m looking for something more dynamic. Looks like I need to get a roller, too!
You are so sweet! 😍 I will try to stretch more often now. Also your German „ich kann ja super tanzen“ indeed means „I can dance really well“. I would personally leave out the „ja“, because we would use „ja“ in this context if we were surprised that we were this good of a dancer. Or if we‘ d wanna be a little sarcastic.
Peloton should sponsor you! I had no idea they had an app that had classes that didn’t require their equipment. I’m on week 2 of stretching everyday. 😊
Let me know if you try any of these stretching videos! 🤩 Thanks for watching everyone. It really means a lot ❤
I hope you have a great rest of your day!
I did #2 yesterday! Good! I Like learning a new routine and a new stretch or two! Today I enjoyed #6! Full body, good flow, good timer! Looking forward to trying more and growing my list! Thanks!!
Trying to stretch every day this week. Will try Matty's evening stretch tonight coz I love me some show tunes too!
Try downdog. I use it , really customizable.
clicked for the result, stayed for the personality!
❤
Same, i wish to smile this much
OMG SAME HAHA ❤❤❤
Spot on!
SAME HAHAHAHA!!
You've convinced me to stretch, achieving what my high school PE teacher never could
😂 Amazing!! 💪
I think you can do that without doing anything!😂
Stretching in the evening is the best! Not only is it scientifically proven that you tend to be less flexible in the morning, I also totally agree with you on it giving you a nice opportunity to focus on yourself, your breathing and getting ready for bed.
100% 🙌

Greetings from Germany here. "Ich kann ja super tanzen!" does in indeed mean "I can actually dance really well!"
jaa = yes🤣
And she can, siehe zum Beispiel (see for example ) 9:18 🤪
Love this! My favorite stretch person on youtube is Mady Morrison, I like the beeps indicating the position change, chill energy and no talking, super relaxing.
Okay noted!! Thanks for the recommendation, Justina! :)
Mine too!! I did her full body 15 min stretch everyday for two weeks and feel like I’ve had a 5 year younger body ever since
Samee omgg,I was hoping she tries her stretching videos
Girl your **starting** flexibility at the beginning of this vid is what my end flexibility goals look like 😆.
I don't do it often, but when I try to stretch before going to bed, I found that it helps me fall asleep, which is important for someone that has trouble with initially falling asleep.

the editing of ur videos just dont stop amazing mee!

Okay, fiiine... I'll stretch today

And thanks for watching the ads! 😂❤

Feels like you and Ryan Trahan are sibs. Getting the same positive vibes every vid!
I was thinking the same thing! I was telling my brother she reminds me of the female version of Ryan😅❤❤
You a light on the internet 😊 love your content - your positivity and bright smile 😀 bring joy to my day and rub off! ❤ so thank you 🙏
Thanks Deborah! Thanks for watching :')

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😄
kinda hooked with ur videos. It's like a sudden breeze of charm, freshness and sweet relaxation.
I got so inspired by your video, that I decided to do the same (after almost two years of barely no exercise). It has been life changing ❤
I literally love your videos so much. The multi day jump into clothes shot made me WOW!!! Absolutely storytelling cinema queen
😆 Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy them :)
5:34 I needed to hear this gentle reminder and motivation 🫶
Thank you, Makari 😊
I’ve learned to include these videos in my self care toolkit because they’re so freaking funny! You always put a smile on my face and tbh belly laughter too. Keep up the good work! You’re medicine girl!!
Too kind!! Thank you for this :)

Awe thanks! I appreciate the motivation!!
I love your energy in your videos and your smile is just infectious. I’ve been having a slump in where I am in life right now, but seeing your progress and perseverance makes me want to try too. Keep it up on your own time and take care of yourself in the process!
I found your channel recently through the cardio video and absolutely love it. Thank you for being real and inspiring at the same time :)
Thanks Gillian! I'm glad you like the videos!
Cute, funny, and most importantly: informative. This is how you earn my subscription.
Your videos always make me feel motivated. Like I was literally reading a book cause I thought of your reading video!! Then I looked at my phone and saw your new upload and watched that instead hehe

hmmm finally a youtuber who genuinely should have more subscribers! funny, approachable, reminds me of a lot of my friends
Thank you for the idea on using stretching as a transition activity between work and home. I've really struggled with morning or evening stretching consistently, so this just felt like a light bulb switching on 🤩

You’re like the friend everyone wished they could hang out with.
Straight to the point, very rare nowadays! Thank you for the good video
Thanks for watching Julia! :)
This literally came up at the perfect time, because I woke up SO SORE this morning
oooooo - let me know how the stretch goes! 😆
I started doing yoga a few months back and it has been life changing for me. I always carry so much stress in my body. Every morning I through on a 15-20 min yoga video and then after every workout a 10-15 min video (or just evening). I feel so much better in my body.
So glad you had at least one week of links for those of us who don’t do peleton- thanks! I don’t stretch enough either. 🙄
9:20 my favorite jig 🤩 I'm enjoying your videos and appreciate the positivity. Thank you for sharing Makari!
I love all of your videos! Your personality is amazing and just when I thought I couldn’t love you any more, you mentioned you love showtunes! 🎭 💛 👏🏼
You’ve inspired me to start running every morning and it has been truly life changing!
i love your editing!! and: you were right about your translation of the german sentence :D
Phew! Thank you 😆
You are the antidote to my depression! ❤
i love your videos so much! it's such a joy watching you challenging yourself and reflecting on it. most time of the week i'm living like a couchpotato after work. so i need inspiration/motivation to get up and use my time better. thank you for your content! ❤
Hey thanks Eva! I'm glad you're enjoying them 😍
I am loving this content, excited to see what’s to come for this channel❤
Exactly the video I needed to get that bit of extra motivation for the coming week! Excellent video! 🥳
I love to hear it! Thanks Felicia 😍🙌
You are such a fun person!!! so glad i found your channel :))
Finally blessed with a new video! 🥰😍
Awe thanks Alma! 🥰
I came for the title, and I subscribed for the personality!😂
You are my main motivation person!! Thank you for spreading happiness and will to move my body everyday 💜 I appreciate your channel
Agree!!
Thanks Rebecca! I appreciate it!
Isn't it the best?? My body is just like... where have you been...
man, i dont think i will ever be as stretchy as she is before she started stretching...
BEN STRETCHING HEAVY THESE PAST FEW DAYS && I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER 🤩🤩
AMAZING!! Thank you so much for coming back and telling me!! I love to hear this! :)
stretching 🤝 editing queen, I’m here for it 😍🙌❤️

Not my thinking "Why is German a problem?" then realizing I am German... oh well
Your videos make me smile, like smile-smile. The relaxed, positive vibes are so contagious 👌🏼 Keep it up!!
You are very funny! haha
I love your videos. I'm from Brazil and I watch them all. I'm also making the most of my English.

Hey thanks for the recommendation, Livvy! I appreciate it :)
I completely agree! I spend most morning with Julia. 👍👍
You very clearly speak aloud my inner voice, and what I should say back.
Your smile kills me every time 😂
Love your fun videos. I like Yoga with Adrienne, Run and Stretch, Julia Reppel for mobility and of course fit by Mik. 😀

Okay Tim! I’ve been hearing a lot about you on this channel! Just on the treadmill and you were up next!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the sound effects! 👏👏👏
You’re awesome, never change! ❤
Re Q: my favourite has always been yoga with Adrienne on UA-cam because her sessions are really accessible and she is good vibes. Recommend.
Also- how do you have time to do everything in your day 🫣?

you have the most fun, fantastic attitude-i wanna be like you when i grow up!!! such an inspiring video 🎉
Can I say that your videos make me excited about living?!
I love your videos! Kind regards from germany 😊 you got the "Ich kann gut tanzen" right.
I was so excided to see this video pop up this morning!!! love this video, love a good stretch haha. my favourite app is just stretching excerises 😊 they have a feature where you can create your own customised stretching routines which is the only thing I use it for. very handy!! thanks for sharing with us Makari! ❤
"My new plant🌱 which in luck i hope i dont kill it"😂😂😂
I like your videos the only thing made is subscribe is the way you connect and stay so natural and funny throughout: thanks Tim! What a guy 😂 got me
Amazing improvement!!! Thanks for sharing your faves! I’ve been using my Apple Fitness for stretching but I’m looking for something more dynamic. Looks like I need to get a roller, too!
everyone needs a roller!! I'm converted
Impressive progress. I like stretching in the evening. It's a nice way to wind down before bed.
You are very entertaining. Thanks for making content.
Thanks for watching!! :)
I love you!! I subscribed!! Im now going to catch up and watch your videos, i am excited for more! I am starting to stretch but took a long break
Hey thanks Hailie!! :) I hope the binge session was enjoyable 😆
You are so sweet! 😍
I will try to stretch more often now.
Glad to find your channel!
I've started incorporating stretching into my days and it feels amazing
I love to hear it 😍
I'm impressed from your german skills.
It gives Ryan Trahan vibes 😎 love the content!
The biggest compliment 😎 Thanks Joceline!
I'm 20% flexible with comparison to your start position
Love all the exercise vids. You should do one about volleyball since you have a background in that sport
