I saw him live before beer bongs and bentleys and it was one of the best experiences of my life
I agree he sounds amazing without affects but I saw a interview where he said he don't give a shit he just loves the sound with auto tune and that his haters can hate, that's why I love the guy he does what makes him happy.

The effects are a choice to add to the music. He can sing and rap amazingly without any effects. It’s just an artistic choice.

Post Malone is such a great artist and yeah he uses auto tune but like everyone does, but if you really listen to more of his live songs you can really tell that he has an amazing voice and can really sing! Blame it on me live is one of his best songs!
Hey, you should check out his live performance in Leeds 2018. Especially the song "Stay ". It's just him and a guitar with no effects as far as i remember
