I just got one just like that ,the motor is 3.5briggd sand stranded,it's one though,it's looking good and will climbed anything 45' pulling 100pounds of dead weight.cool biked.
Not many people have even heard of tote tote. My brother in law had one he used for hunting in Northern California. It was handed down to him from his Dad. Cool project Thanks for bringing back some old dusty memories.
We had a Tote Goat on the farm back in the early 70s. The first motorbike we had to ride. It was awesome. Simple and light. Go anywhere. One speed. I don't know what happened to it. My nephews probably did something with it. I want to build a few for the fun of it. Cheap fun.
Great project! Yours appears to be a blazer. They were built by employees that left the Bonham tote gote company. Early models used the tote gote frame then later on they moved production to Japan and named them the trail blazer. They came with a big shroud over the engine that caused a lot of problems with overheating. Most of the info I've read came from the tote gote or the tote gote restoration Facebook page. Lot of great info on there. Can't wait to see more videos on it.
Man o' man! Coots, snow mutts, cub cadets and now a tote gote?!! If you don't restore a rokon next, I'll be devastated!..... or have you already?!! Naw seriously bud, very cool stuff, I'm enjoying it all.
@@Smalls4068 sorry, I got to babbling. I meant the Tote Gotes were made in Utah. To the best of my knowledge, there's still a yearly convention. And last I seen, there was a guy on Ebay selling repo stickers.
I have one called a blazer on the side sheet metal, looks the same ,has two speed trans. When it was running that low gear was handy at times. Need to restore it as well.
I also have the same gote the 2 speeds are unstoppable! I just took my out for the first ride and went straight up a massive hill. I have not been able to identify this model so hopefully someone will know.
So it’s not a tote goat. It’s a blazer or trail blazer and I’m still trying to determine the model. I have a picture of the Different models. I have to match it up to my frame to know for sure. But as soon as I know I will let you know

Btw, I probably don't need to tell you you're right next door, or at least down the street from where they were manufactured.
No I did not know that. I’ll have to dig into it. Thanks for your comment. A Rokon is definitely in my radar. I’d love to find one of them

Yes it’s a blazer just missing the side panels
The missing gas tank to the original motor is on the tote goat
Like to see part 2 !
They made them from 1958 to 1970 , I believe there was 4 models ! One was even 2 wheel drive ! I think they had one way bearings on the 2 speed .
Was there a part 2?
I have a 1964 with maybe a 8.5 Hp original bike .
Was there any signs of a front brake at all
Mine had a torque converter
these ones do too , and 2 speed system . vary rare .
Looks like the original engine is a 4hp, which leads me to think its either a 403,404, or a 414 judging by the frame
pin.it/gbWA5nK this is the frame identification chart on pinterest. I have a model 600 and a model B, i love 'em
Thanks for the great info

Usually a brass plate on the goats at the handle bar housing . Where he took the last bolt out the bottom.
Guess I missed the restoration part.
