For sure, apparently the current translator SUCKS at his job. What I read, the translations he did were stripped of all flavour/personality/humour/details etc. Just a super bad translator. The guy translated Li Jingling.. a guy with great charisma fighting tomorrow.. From what I read, this guy simplified what Li said so much that only the most basic meaning was left. Like when your talking to a 4 year old. Real real bad!
Great interview. It would of been nice to hear where she feels Rose has the advantage. I am guessing speed and movement as the obvious ones. Weili looks like she put on a lot of muscle.
Rose has the advantage in every aspect. Especially the mental side. All Zhang has done since she woke up after getting KO'd is complain and try to throw politics in the mix to garner as much sympathy as possible. That's a scumbag move and if she was humble and actually gave Rose credit instead of storming out the octagon like a 3 year old, I would still be a fan.

Helen, great Chinese for an ABC! Mine was much much worse before I taught English and lived in China for 6 years haha. (For everyone else, she sounds like an ABC and not completely fluent, but obviously solid enough to have a live discussion and transcribe authentic subtitles.)
Rose and Weili are two of my favourite fighters. It's hard to pick between them, but I hope that it is a good fight this time. I felt like Weili got caught, and was perhaps overconfident in her first fight against Rose. Hoping to see a total war this time around. Let's go ladies!

Hopefully this is a transformational moment for her, and she learns from it. I love watching her fight. Really excited to see the rematch.

zhang is smart, she sees what should strike everybody in the MMA industry, and anybody who has ears to listen to Cejudo when he analyses or predicts a fight: he is a master of fighting, he is one in a billion. He understands all facets of the game, his outlook is world classe, and he was never broken because he keeps a smile on his face.
the language barrier makes it hard for me to connect with fighters not from english speaking countries, so i really love it when they are interviewed in their own language as opposed to forcing them to speak english
