The first 10, 15 minutes I didn’t thought much about this play. I am pleased I did not switched off. Thanks and regards from Mexico
As a native of Co Durham, I've always been amused by the antics of our noisy neighbours to the south, and portrayals of them. Southerners may think of this excellent play as a light family drama; I regard it as a satire.
I love the photos you always put with your dramas, Arch.
Here’s to that observation and comment! And long overdue at that! The thumbnails are often the reason I choose a show or another! Cheers! ✌️
A great photo really draws me into a play!

Dang Eddie your a real WEIRDO! 😂. You sure do post some odd comments! Cheers.
I had to listen to the end twice Eddie because it was that good! 👍👏🥰
I'm subscribing. 90mins plays like wot it was in my glamour school days! Why can't they do 90mins on Saturday plays. It gave you so much depth that 60min can't. Did you tape these on a big reel to reel back in the day? My first one I heard aged 14 was Of Mice & Men & was superb & tragic which I hadn't felt before. Many thanks.
I assume that you mean grammar school!
I cannot believe someone whose vocabulary is questionable attended grammar school???
That was a really charming tale. Thanks for posting Arch. ;-)
Lovely story thanks
Nice one, Arch.

Just subscribed, love plays like this.

I kept thinking of Hobson's Choice - to find it's the same writer.
Very fun
It sounded like Roy Barraclough...
Chris Bradley it is , it mentioned that at the start
👏👏👏👏👍
Arch do you still have the recordings of the ones they made you remove?
@@prezkrk ~ Arch had another channel before this one.
@@prezkrk ~ Yes, in some parts of the world black cats are considered unlucky, in others, they are good luck. I've never heard about drivers stopping for a black cat and then a doomed day will follow. I enjoy hearing all those different beliefs and learning something new so thanks for that. Black cats, white, ginger, blue, green... I love all cats! About the other channel with the old fashioned microphone, if it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was on an orange background. What a pity that one has disappeared but we still have Arch here doing a fantastic job, keeping us all entertained. From my memory, I think this is Archs' third channel over a few years. Let's hope YT leave him alone now.Third time lucky! All the best to you x y. Your writing is not so bad. : )
@@prezkrk ~ Just saw your comment. I think Arch will be here for as long as UA-cam let him. You sound very nice. Thank you for your comment. Best Wishes. Ruby.
@@prezkrk I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy in your job of 17 years but we must have an income. Yes, I know about Aries people born under the sign of the Ram. You are ruled by fire and like to be in charge, and can have a bit of a temper! The good thing is it sounds like you are learning about yourself, softening with age as we all do. We all need to grow and get to know ourselves. Funny you should say how you learned about Agatha Christie at age 14 because that's exactly the same as me. My Grandma had all her books and she suggested I try to read one. The first one was '4.50 From Paddington.' I was hooked immediately and as I said, I was 14 years old at that time just like you were. So I read all my Grandmothers books and then went on the buy my own copies. I still love reading Agatha's books but I love to watch the movies best and we are very lucky that we can see most of them here on UA-cam. My favourite is Poirot, I prefer him to Miss Marple. Of course, David Suchet is the best Poirot of all! Kind Regards, Ruby.
@@prezkrk Love Art Deco too!
Controlling, nasty people...
