- BMR Suspension recently completed the first phase of its 2002 Camaro Z28 build. This phase of the build utilized a budget of $5000 for modification to the exhaust, suspension, wheels and tires, and brakes. it would be nice to see phase 2 soon
2 years later...
4 years later
Thanks for the great video, it's nice to see someone giving some love to a fourth gen!!
I can vouch that 4th gen Fbodies respond very well to suspension upgrades
Even just subframe connectors, springs/shocks upgrade
Great job guys!
Love this series for the fbody ❤🔥🔥
That's funny, my tx speed header would not fit on passenger side. Collector was just 1" from the bottom of the car. They tried to tell me it was not their header, my car must be out of shape 😂. My car is MINT
Hey guys when is the next installment of this video series starting again?
Dropped ..4 ....Seconds...WOW! !!!
Phase 2 please!!

Ok so iam running 1 25 drop on a 95 trans am and keep blowing kyb struts can you help me out
Were spacers needed for the rear wheels and tires
A big disappointment is that you never see an in camera view in videos demonstrating the handling of the fourth gen. A professional demo showing the speed and g force hit in turns or different parts commonly found in race ways. My thoughts are it would raise sales because spending over $2k (which is not a lot by today’s standards when you see what people spend on the common bmw or Mercedes) blindly just doesn’t make sense.
Was there any tire rub at all with the 315-30x18's?
Looks like virtually no ground clearance under that exhaust. How often do you hit it, and what are roads like around you?
something BMR cant answer... smh
Why the exhaust pipes were so close to the ground? that is not good on the streets...
Went will you started phase 2?? Can't wait .. I have same mods .. in my 95 z28 ..
How much did you pay for the car itself?
Phase 2?
Is that Jeff Loomis playing in the background?
phase 2 yet?
Great Video. Cut the music!
Is that for drag or autocross
Better tuck them true duals a little better man😎
We’re phase 2 been 3 years
LS1s need professional oil system upgrade to really survive the track.
What color is that Camaro?
LionXjelly blue i think
Great video! I'm seriously looking into the bmr suspension for my fbody! Subscribed! Check me out!
Really dropped the ball on those brakes.
Doesn't cost much to add caddy brembo brakes & you could have dropped the way over rated koni yellows for koni oranges to help offset the cost.
Something is hanging awfully low there under the car. I think the mechanic you used forgot to put those rubber doughnuts on that hold up the exhaust. Amateur mistake. Should of taken it to master mechanic. they wouldn't have forgotten the rubbers.
No, the driver side long tubes hang under the body. The factory has a y-pipe and a single mid pipe going down the passenger side, you can see the cut out for it in the video. This is why the passenger footwell has that hump in it.
The long tubes look cool but I bought short tubes for this exact reason, I'd rather have the ground clearance and short tubes keep the factory layout, just with better flow.
Sucked
Phase 2?
