Jesse, thank you for posting these videos about installing speakers. Just like you said, other videos skip the parts that are actually helpful. After watching your video I actually feel like I can handle doing it myself.
It’s no worries my friend, that’s honestly why when I make how to videos I try my best to show and explain the video may be longer than others but it atleast doesn’t leave you guessing lol, thanks for watching friend and I appreciate the nice comment it means a lot :)!
Hey buddy. Great video. I’m not installing any speakers. But i am supporting your channel. I watched all the way to the end. You did a great job showing how to remove the seat and all the panels too. Like #12
Hi Jesse!!! Lolol!!! I loved your intro with the back seat lolol!!! Hehe!!! Ooh trust me your videos are always always detailed!!! Thank you for showing us the black clip to pull forward!!! Thank you for warning us to turn the volume Down lolol!!! I loved your video Jesse!!! I am saving and sharing!!! Xoxo Pam 💖❤️💖❤️
Awesome channel Jesse! I love the blooper. My son is going to love to see this for his car. I love how you explain it step by step so perfectly !! Very cool my friend!!
Great video. I first got the Rockford fosgate 6.5 speaker but replaced it with Alpine 6.5 s series now. Much better than fosgate. No amp. Keep up the good work!
Good job great video very thorough thx for the help.. just a quick question for the rear speaker wires.. driver is (yellow+ &brown-) while passenger is blue n orange.. which is positive? Plz help thx
Just put SS braided hoses on the vette today and had that same issue. The way they mount you can’t see the nuts for the hard lines and there are sensors in the way that no one tells you you need to remove 3 of the 4 to complete the install. I tried to film some but as you know you really need a camera man for an install video. That seat looked like a bear to remove. Like anything once you do it once it’s much easier 👍 great job in this definitely a very time consuming project but should sound really awesome when you add that sub and wrap it all up!
Yea I hate it or the video is titled how to and they don’t show anything just show what’s inside the box then they show it installed and how it works like really where’s the steps on how to install lol, yea it’s hard filming alone on these especially in the engine bay you need a second hand for filming, thanks for supporting so much it means a lot!!
Hello great video bit are the factory wire marked neg and positive wires so you know which I which you explained everything else very good but that thanks for your help thinking about buying a 15 civic coupe with premium audio system and I know they don't sound that good from factory so if I get it definelty what to up grade love good sound systems thanks bro
I have a 2014 civic, I replaced the 4 factory speakers and installed a subwoofer but the audio turns itself off. I kept the factory radio and only ther subwoofer is hooked up to the amp. How do I stop ther audio from cutting out. Ther radio still functions but dont hear anything unless I turn the car off for a little while
Check your ground sometimes if you did not ground the amp probably that happens also check for any wires touching as that can cause a short and also check if the amps fuse is working or popped
Yes if you end up on adding a amplifier to the speakers without the amp sure it’ll give you a bit more clear sound/voice but it won’t put out the potential power I hope that helps 👍
Hey I like your videos but any way you can show just the speakers because I have a 2014 Honda Civic as well and I got tired of the stock speakers and I want to swap them out but I want speakers with nice bass because I don’t want no subs. Any suggestions on brands?
I know kicker has a good bass/l with super clear voice and to help them more u can pair it with a kicker amp just to power them a bit more to give it some potential I hope that helps my friend
I see side airbag actuators in the C pillars. Did you pull the negative terminal off of the battery before starting this removal process? You could also have used a very thin bead of silicone under the lip of each speaker to help hold them in place but moreover, to keep them from rattling or "buzzing" against the metal body frame.
You are not metal on metal bro he used the OEM speaker and cut the speaker out to use the bracket so its plastic on metal, no rattling will happen so you're wasting time using silicone.
like your videos, very detailed. i've watched some other videos and thye just skip the most important steps sometimes... i plan to replace AT LEAST both front speakers and maybe the rear ones at some point. From your experience how much better does the sound get after replacing it? i always thought my STOCK speakers were pretty good! (same car 2015 honda civic)
Yo Jesse, great vids. I have all the speakers replaced besides the rear 6.5in in my 2015 civic ex coupe thanks to your amazing detail. ...... i have one question, how long did the rears take from to put in and did it really even make much of an improvement in sound as i wont be using an amp for the rears, just my sub?
Thanks for watching the videos my friend I tried :)!!!! I appreciate u noticing that and to be honest I can’t remember but no more than 1 hour it took long for me since I was recording, and it’s not a huge difference it just made the voice a lot more clear at higher volume 🤔 of course adding an amp to them will help push them but without it it helped just make it more clear
I'm trying to figure out how to run new 12gauge speaker wire to my new 2 rear door speakers I'm gunna push 100rms each should I remove all what you did and run them on each side up to the trunk.?
@@JesseRizo I got crescendo pwx 6.5 and thanks I'm gunna go with the 12awg I'm trying to do the install myself so I save money lol I'm kinda nervous thanks for the advice man !
@@JesseRizo I had the 2006 civic ex and lx and in both versions you could remove the mesh, but maybe that version just happened to be the exception. Either way it's still way more of a pain than it needs to be. But thanks for the video man I have a 2015 ex-l now and if I do replace the speakers on my own I will definitely be watching your videos
Ryan raccer yea with those years yea the mesh comes off I use to have a 2005 civic ex and a 1999 civic ex lol, u got it if u ever have questions let me know my friend
@@JesseRizo I do have one, what is the rms output from the stock stereo? I haven't been able to find it. I mean like what rms value on speakers would you look for with the stock head unit
Rms honestly not 100 percent sure but I would think like 30-40rms lol the hesdunits are not powerful at all from experience I’d probably get a small amp to power just your mids (door speakers) and the upgraded speakers u threw in will work a lot better because it u just upgrade the door speakers with no amp like I stated in the begning the stock stereo can’t really push them it’ll be just a tad bit cleary but that’s it I hope that helps 👍

Jesse Rizo do you have a video for the two front tweeters on the pillars?
Jesse Rizo great video... did you use the same size speakers on the doors and rear panel?

Great tutorial! This helped me a ton when I installed new speakers in my son's car for Christmas.
Your video is way better than most.. .
1 suggestion would be to address the special clips in the pillars and how to reset them
Thanks for actually showing all the steps. I’ve been having problems with the rear seats.

Hi can you send/post a link for the brackets for the front and rear speakers. Thanks and more power to your channel

for the ones in the rear are they also 6.5 like the ones in the front
Hi buddy amazing job can't wait to hear what they sound like

Would it be possible to get to the back panel by just putting the back seats down?
Maybe but it’ll be tight
Awesome friend..👌👍
Thanks for watching :)
This should be an awesome result!
Thanks bro for the price it definitely is pretty good lol I don’t usually blast my music but this makes me want to hahaha
I had 4 of those same speakers put in my civic. Do you think a 360 watt 4 channel amp would be to much for those speakers.
That is what I need good speakers and nice sound system in the car.
Thank you :)
Super great DIY video!!!!👍👍👍
Thank you for watching :)!!
Hello one question ? the speakers sound good I want to make the change and I would like to know if it is worth the change !!
Yes if you end up on adding a amplifier to the speakers without the amp sure it’ll give you a bit more clear sound/voice but it won’t put out the potential power I hope that helps 👍
Looking forward to hear the awesome sound...thanks Jesse 😎
:) I posted a new one Ernest :)

I can change speakers without messing with the Head unit right?
Yea if you are just changing the speakers themselves no need to touch the headunit
Great job!! ❤️❤️❤️

Hey what size screws did you use? I have the same speakers and I purchased brackets but the screws that came with the speaker are too long..
I think I resisted the crews that came off the original speakers

Is this the same for the civic coupe

Yes same ones 👍 I have a video on both

What wires were positive and negative?
Nice work!
Thanks :)!!

Hey Jesse, i have an 08 civic sedan, do you think id be able to get some 6x9's in the rear.?

Do you have an amp that can push 100 watt rms?

How did they think this would be a good idea? They should have just had the mesh come off to get to the speakers.
