God, I love this man! As a Jew, I say thank you for standing with us. As a gay man, I say thank you for being such an astounding role model in the truest sense of the word. My experience was the same as yours, as I walked across Bryant Park, having cancelled our flight home to Israel on the 7th, feeling violated and distraught, we saw the parade of demonstrators in support of what we were not able yet to comprehend.
