You guys wanted Mike Rex! Here is his impressive collection of whitetails. That 218 is unbelievable! and Mike is an awesome guy, thanks for the tour Mike!
That's the one I've been waiting on. Been subscribed to NAW since about 1993, saw Mike on the cover in 2005 or 2006, didn't known my Dad and I would finish his hunting career in Athens 12years later. Time of my life. Thanks guys.
Enjoyed this episode, Mike has taken some exceptional bucks and his stories of the 3 hunts were excellent. I could listen to him talk deer all day,, definitely knows what he is doing 👍
Could you guys do a podcast with Mike? I feel he has a lot of knowledge on the less often talked about big woods strategies and tactics and I think it would be awesome! Not a lot people putting out content on hill country deer other than you and Beau Martonik.
You should go to John Byers farm and look at there bucks they have as much as Mike or more. I was at there house 20 years ago and they have a room full then. John shot a BC buck last week.
I live in eastern Ky, we have over 1,000 acres all family owned private land, I’ve had to many cameras and deer stands stolen to even count. Me and dad Used to build ladder stands, and these trespassing jerks would climb up to the top and would cut the ladders off them. Me and dad actually caught 1 pair of thieves in the act though, we got the chance to hold them at gunpoint till the cops showed up. Had them on camera multiple times trespassing to hunt our land, but the thieving and vandalism, we couldn’t let that go.
Mike Rex clearly mistaking fawns for yearlings??? LOL guess that’s what happens when you only shoot giants! Dude is a legend, I’ll forgive him this time.
Love comment of out of state hunters normally don't steal..anyone who steals cameras, stands and such are thieves when thier walking on pavement not just in the woods.had a hunting buddy who stole cameras and stands....dont hunt with him anymore

Something about the way he speaks, I could listen to every story about every buck on those walls.
I cant tell you how proud these Ohio guys make me.
Some old peach and scatter ridge giants. Fun fact Mike's a great guy. They used to stop by our camp and say hi.
