I have had 2 of the Recons and they both developed stick drift after a couple months. I sent them in recently to get the sicks looked at so waiting on that. came here to see if it is normal or if I got unlucky. Overall this controller is really great, especially on FPS games.
@@Avidcryptosmoker I have never had an Elite controller so I am unable to answer that. I still haven't received my controller back as the shop I took it too doesn't have the sticks that the Recon uses.
I've replaced 3 bumpers, 4 sets of back grips and two stick boards (stick drift) on my elite series 1. I'm super hesitant to spend a premium on a non premium quality controller again.
I've had my recon now for about 2 years and love it, however the right analog has become so loose that when the controller vibrates the stick will love around. sadly no support for it, but because if it's price point I will probably by another one
Hey man. Thanks for the cool review. What I like to do on my elite series 2 controller is to disable the RS button and map it to the back because I keep clicking RS while I'm trying to shoot someone. Question, can you disable buttons on this controller? Much appreciated.
I’ve had two of these, both trash. Im a casual gamer and neither have lasted longer than 2 months. The customer care was good, but unable to fix the issues. The second one I got when I went home to the states because it costs less. This one loses connection constantly. Says you need a remote on screen mid gameplay. Trash.
If you read the comments here it sounds like some people are experiencing that too with the Turtle Beach controller, but I can’t say that I’ve experienced that yet with mine
My son uses it, and has used it since the filming of this video, and he’s 6, so you can imagine how rough he is on things, and this controller is still holding up perfectly fine
I tried it on the new Call of Duty and I was impressed, the stick is calibrated well and moves smoothly; I thought smoother than the stock Series controller for sure.
This is a great review. Hit all the points I was looking for like weight, trigger sensitivity and joystick calibration
Thank you! Appreciate the comment

I’m hearing this in the comments, I however haven’t experienced that, nor has my son - that’s unfortunate though, hopefully it gets fixed
Is the stick drift worse than the one you get from the elite controller? I thought these had the halo centric thumb sticks which don’t get stick drift

All 3 of my elite controllers bumpers have gone out after 6-10 months, curious how these hold up because i refuse to buy another elite.
I haven’t had that issue with the Elite, but so far this controller has survived my 6 year old sons constant use and dropping

Yeah I haven’t had that issue yet, but it’s been a good controller thus far and goes on sale quite a bit which makes it very appealing
Great review thank you!
Thanks for watching!

I don’t believe you can disable buttons, I tried briefly but couldn’t figure how to do so if that is a possibility!
Thank you for watching!
@@Mrlostmoniker thank you kind sir for your reply!
Great video bro. I’m considering buying one
It’s a great controller for the price!

Yeah? I haven’t had that issue, that sounds like some bad luck. My son is quite rough on controllers and we have yet to have any issues with it
Yeah mines bad too
Horrible stick drift
Buttons going bad
Randomly loses connection
Definitely would not buy another one
This controller is amazing when you over clock it to and it’s worth it when you don’t have to spend 200$ when you can do it on your pc 😂💀
Overclock? What do you mean? I do agree it’s a great controller however for its price
@@Mrlostmoniker yes you can over clock it not hard to do look up a video how to do it on pc I do it and play it on halo infinite 🥸
I have drifting problem with my MS xbox controllers. I dont care about other options. Is it of high quality or will drift after 3 months
If you read the comments here it sounds like some people are experiencing that too with the Turtle Beach controller, but I can’t say that I’ve experienced that yet with mine
Hey, am planning to buy this. Are you still using this? Any issues?

@@Mrlostmoniker Thanks 👍
Anyone know how to fix the control delay?
We’ve never had that issue with ours, did you use the wire it came with?
Can you use kontrol freaks on it?
I haven’t tried it, but the joysticks seem standard
How does it work on call of duty!
I tried it on the new Call of Duty and I was impressed, the stick is calibrated well and moves smoothly; I thought smoother than the stock Series controller for sure.
@@Mrlostmoniker 💯💯👍👍 thanks, going to get it today!
Let me know how you like it!
I only used 10 months, and LB button is broken, no worth at all
That’s unfortunate, I’m still using it and we don’t have that issue
@@Mrlostmoniker The most funny thing is having 2 years warranty, but broken LB button is not included inside the warranty.
Really? That sucks, have you tried reaching out anyways and seeing if they’d help?
Horrible stick drift getting worse an worse
Buttons going bad now too
And also been randomly disconnecting alot more lately too
I haven’t experienced these issues, have you reached out to Turtle Beach?
@@Mrlostmoniker
Naw it's past warranty
But they only have like 6 months of actual usage time though
Why would you do a controller review on meth???
It was a good idea at the time while I was on meth
Wow you are using the controller with dirty hands 🤮
Maybe wash your hands from time to time!
Or clean your controller when make a vid 😂
Mhm
