Looks beautiful down there with the fall colours. It was quite relaxing to just watch the river flow by and waves gently lapping up as you were fishing. Kind of interesting how many folks experience this area on the boat or gondola that made appearances but never get to calmly and fully take in the natural surroundings as anglers do. Thanks for sharing Dave, some nice fish too!
Nice one Dave! Crazy you had the river essentially to yourself. So used to see people shoulder to shoulder during the salmon run. Great technique with those big beads.
I rocked up late after taking Rory to school, grabbed the best open drift and did pretty good for 3 hrs. The Pool was pretty busy, the parking lot was full. Guys can't really be shoulder to shoulder with the current here in some stretches. Most of the other anglers were cropped out of shot all to my left. Thankfully I knew a guy down there and could have muscled into a better drift if I wanted, but didn't go that route.
@@davependlebury8911 right on Dave! That’s great. I am so used to ditch fishing small pools. It’s challenging but a lot of fun if you land one. I try to avoid the crowd by going to almost the head water of tribs. Great content keep it coming. 🔥
Great video Dave as usual, can you please explain how you adjust the depth under the float without snags. The current pushes the float, the depth changes, so I'm interested in how you do it.Ty
What an awesome session! Thanks for sharing, Dave
Rocked up to a full parking lot, very thankful for how this short trip came together.

😮 is that a 12 mm bead
@JordenMorin Dave was using a 16 mm bead in this vid. I was surprised too but in the next vid, I was sold on the big bead idea.
@@TheAnglerFiles that’s amazing ! Definitely gonna throw a few in the box
