Guys, it's great to see you again in this place with a big fish. Steelhead fishing season is starting, we hope to see you in action soon. I'm interested in what depth you adjust the float to catch fish here, specifically for steelhead. Ty
That will depend on where you are standing. the bottom contour is different all around so you will need to experiment when you are there to find the distance that is right.
actually yes, this was shot with a DJI Osmo action 3 camera. Just learning the settings and trying it out. Never expected to get a full vid out of this session.
If you clamp forceps to the eye of the swivel you are tying your knot onto, it will assist greatly tying that knot, if you just spin the forceps. I hate when you get all the turns on the line then the swivel slips from your fingers.
Great team work, guys!
4:27 felt that take right through the screen!
Big beads big fish!
I love that you havent changed your intro music. Brings me back to some good and not-so-good but necessary times. Nice salmons.
@theastuteangler some things are just really hard to replace.
@@TheAnglerFiles Even when I hear that song being used on other channels, I always think... Angler Files.

on this day we were fishing between 12 and 14 feet under the float. Thats always a good starting depth there.
@@TheAnglerFiles Thank you, for that depth 12 to 14 feet , how far the float is from the shore when casting.

@@BM-mg6kudon’t need to cast far. Fish are at your feet some days
