You forgot to talk about the many and sometimes secret modifications done by IAF on American fighters like the F 15,F16 and even the F 35 that have been “ improved “ by Israel own technology.
And the Apache have some as well.
Furthermore: the very first time that an F15 shot down an enemy fighter was by an IAF pilot and most of their glorious victories were achieved by Israel long before American pilots used them in combat over Irak.
Even that famous episode of an F15 landing with only one wing was by Israeli pilot.
Isn’t this program supposed to be showing us the new Israeli fighter not all the different types of American fighters that are out there

1. Israel developed a fighter, "Levi," with financial aid from the US. When it became clear that it was superior to the American fighter jets at the time, the US forced Israel to scrap the program; the States didn't want competition to the Military Industrial Complex.
2. The F-15 arrived in Israel in the 70s.
3. Much of the high tech in US fighters is Israeli technology. Israel also installs installs much of its own better electronics in the fighter jets' cockpits.
4. The helmet that directs flight direction and gunfire is an Israeli product.
5. The various waves of development of F-16s and 15s are the result of Israel's experience in combat; Israel is and has been the testing ground for US military equipment for many decades.
What fantasy land are you living in? First off you don't even know that the plane was called the Lavi, which in Hebrew means "Young Lion". The Lavi was scrapped by the Israeli government because of the financial burden of developement that would harm overall economic growth. What the US didn't want was Israel stealing classified technology and either selling to South Africa, China, Russia, or taking the technology and reverse engineering it and then producing it to compete with the American Companies that originally had researched, developed and produced the advanced technology. The technology in the US aircraft is US technology. US Air Force helmets are made by United States Companies. Israel has been the testing ground? I never heard of, or saw any, Israeli support aircraft in any of the wars that the US has been in before or after 2001.

the USA traded AID to Israel with stopping direct competition to their most important industry. American AID is an indirect subsidy to the American arms industry.

It was stopped by a narrow vote in the Knesset after a long debate. The Israeli plane was actually superior to US equivalent. The US exerted pressure to stop the Israeli project, cause THEY wanted to sell it to those other countries. And many of those technologies by "American companies", by the way, were really from American Jewish brains - I know, worked in aerospace there some 20 years. And other technologies were developed and made IN Israel. Go look up the Isreali company ELOP in Rehovot for one example, they supply the US with hi tech hardware.@@silent9enigma

Israel years back made their own jet fighter but the Americans didn't want the competition I was supplying them Aid so they said use that money to buy American jets from American manufacturers but they is really very very advanced it's the same thing they did to Canada when the Canadians built the arrow jet fighter which was more advanced than any American jet at that time it eliminates the competition and it helps American industry.
That's right, and Israel even had a couple of flying prototypes. They say it was superiour to the F16. I actually got to meet a former director of the project.
It was Levi and it looked very similar to F-16 . Almost the sme except wing configuration was delta wings with canards. Also they had to buy a lot of part from US anyway. Later they sold their resarch data to China and thet probably led to Chinise J-10 fighter. Also Israel copiet Mirage 3 Fighter airframe and put in him engine ment for a F-4 and called it Kefir.

Excuse me, Hamas has zero air defence capability, you don’t need a sophisticated stealthy airframe with advanced sensors and weapons, something equivalent to the A-1 Skyraider, a bomb truck with good endurance will work fine, especially when you don’t particularly care what or who gets bombed. Israel was developing an indigenous attack aircraft, (look up the IAI Lavi program, which the U.S. blocked). Israel looked at building the Lavi for much the same reason that they build the Merkava, a reluctance to be dependent on foreign suppliers, see also the development of the Kfir, the French Mirage III/V re-engined with a J-79 after the French government blocked the supply of Mirage Vs and gunboats. The Israeli government appears to have all U.S. governments in thrall, much as the N.R.A block any sensible gun control legislation.
