Tom, you gotta find time to produce more videos. This was a good one! You have shown me a way to use my extra four and three inch pvc pipe with ninety elbows attached that I would love to repurpose. I have so many of those stacked in piles of various lengths and never would have figured to use them as dispensers of grit, feed, etc. I am lucky in that I live in the arid west. No nasty flying insects except grasshoppers, which make excellent feed for pheasants and domestic birds. McMurray Hatchery has supplied my best chickens for over 20 years, and I enjoy the videos, too.

Hi Monica I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this complement. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌹🌹🌹🌹

We raised lots of chicken for freezer with 2 of my girl friends and we loved the chickens we got from you. Great year after year, dependable, consistent :) For a couple of years we went with those waterers you first mentioned and they were awful. We constantly had to be fixing them. Making our own was better :(

I let my chickens choose dowel or flat roost... they liked the dowels. I got them from the local feed store last year. But this new flock I got (from McMurray), seem to like flat roosting bars. So I guess I need both lol

So hard for me to enjoy the looks of those turkens, but I was sent some pullets as extras once and they were great layers of large brown eggs and had a very gentle and calm disposition. If only I liked the looks...

How many chickens do you have in your flock?
I’m a happy customer of Murray McMurray!

It depends on the breed! We raise and keep our own flocks and some breeds we have a hundred or more, and others we have less than a dozen. :)
