The turtle was the best part of the whole movie.
The house that the witch was sitting in front of when the film switches to color is actually a famous house that's in Beverly Hills. It's actually referred to as "The Witch House" and it's owned by a Hollywood director. I believe it was built by an artist. Notice how they weren't filming on the property, but were filming on the sidewalk? I have a feeling that they just showed up and filmed quickly on the sidewalk, using that house as a backdrop and left. The house itself is beautiful. There's a few articles about it and the inside is amazing and it has that fantasy theme all on the inside and in the yard as well.
I just looked it up after reading this, out of curiosity. I love it. I know what home I'm imitating if I ever win the lottery.

vest816 What's really funny is that you know that the damn director took more footage of the house and desperately tried to associate the witch character to the house but probably couldn't get permission to actually use the property, hence the witch sitting awkwardly in a chair in the street instead of in her yard. It's also probably the reason that the house they use for when she's an old lady is an entirely different house. I recognized the Beverly Hills Witch House right away when I saw it. It's very blatant that they used it as the background for that one scene (because witch!). Like I said. You just know that there was more footage of that house shot that got cut for whatever reason.
I knew that house looked familiar as I saw it in a vlog video with the Carpetbagger and Adam the Woo.
Lol, I couldn't place where I've seen that house. I used to pass that house on occasion back when I lived in LA County ages ago...
This was actually released on VHS by GoodTimes Entertainment in 1992. It's completely useless now.

I think the words "All Live!" either refer to the film's being live action or to the film's actors' surviving the experience.

Why would you want that? MST3K is slow-paced and unfunny compared to Snob episodes. Besides crossovers suck balls 99% of the time.

Unless you're so easily amused that you can be entertained by the jingling of car keys, the usual comedic pace of a MST3K episode is one laugh every 20 minutes and those 20 minutes are filled with watching an awful boring movie. Brad can make more funny jokes a minute than there are in a whole MST3K episode when he's on a roll. It's sad that Brad and many others deluded themselves into thinking that MST3K is some sort of genius masterpiece, especially since that means that we won't see actually funny and well done reviews of the movies MST3K has featured because reviewers don't touch them out of misguided reverence. The only thing MST3K deserves credit for is inspiring a generation of talented people like Brad to review movies in a way that's actually fun to watch.

Were the script writers under the impression that pinching doesn’t hurt, and kids love being pinched? Was pinching universally recognized as not painful in the 60s? Was this script assembled line by line in different rooms by different writers, like the top-secret German joke translators in Monty Python’s “Funniest Joke in the World” sketch!?

I still think you should just do a Rifftrax/MST3K Theme Month where you look at some movies they've done. I always love when you cover one of theirs just for the different perspectives alone.

The Rifftrax for this movie is superb, especially since it throws in some vintage commercials and a cartoon that has Santa Claus living in a shanty and making racist dolls.
