Thank you. RIP Peter Richard, singer by KROKUS 1975 , Solothurn. 🇨🇭 At the same time, he was playing bass guitar songing, writing songs, like WHITE LIGHT, with us , in a band in CH-Biel-Bienne BE 🇨🇭🏞 We played in FORUM COPENHAGUEN june 1974 , Dánemark. Main band , BLUE AQUARIUS ( Youtune instrumental ALIVE AND WELL). Event, in the context. #TimelessToday. 🥰
We found their old albums in Switzerland after hearing metal rendezvous. They are in a class of their own 👍 Seen them in a small club in Cleveland Ohio in 81 ,they weren't really known here yet . Got backstage and had them sign their first record. They were all very nice ,talked to them in German and Marc was like "are you sure u want me to sign it bc I'm not on it" We had him sign it 🙂 Btw, Marc was in a great band called Tea bf Krokus ,I love their albums also .
Rock On74 Indeed ! The 70s are a great time in music evidenced by the great music still being enjoyed right now today. Especially from the years of 1970 to 1974 with it's zenith or highpoint if you prefer of that decade being 1972 & 1973 which had the most release of excellent albums. And get this those are just the ones you know of but I'm here to tell you you've only scratched the surface because I've cone to realize that there are so many great and good bands from that decade alone that never got the recognition that there contemporaries received but yet and still it doesn't detract from the musical legacies they have left behind for all those who are curious and care and seek to expand broaden our musical senses. I would like to leave you with some examples of the great obscure bands along with their music. You might or might not be already acquainted. 1) STEPSON - S/T 2) TOAD - S/T 3) CAPTAIN BEYOND 4) BANDIT - Partners in Crime 5) ZAKARRIAS - 6) BOOMERANG - 7) FANNY ADAMS - S/T P.S. If you don't know of these bands I hope you would take the time to check these gems out you won't regret it.
Thanks for the reply and info. I have listened to the Fanny Adams album by Sweet made in 74. They are another masterpiece band that blew me away from that very album. I will check out the others. Peace and Rock On
The more I listen to this album, the more I realize how great it is. It doesn't sound like their later stuff, but it deserves a lot more recognition in their body of works than it gets.
I was born in 1959 and have made it a point to sample much 80s and 90s music but never heard of Krokus. I can tell you that the 1970s were the golden age of classic rock and this album can stand shoulder to shoulder with classic rock albums. Strong bands changed their music with the times and I love a lot of modern rock but the 1970s were golden
Been a fan of Krokus since 83 but I have never heard the albums released before "Metal Rendez-vous". It`s so weird they were going for a glam boogie thing in the 70s.
Yeah, I bought this from a Sound Warehouse cutout bin -- different cover. So different, yet so cool. von Rohr's great on lead vocals. And the tunes are solid. Thanks for uploading.
Dieter Ammann..... that is so kool man, i bet you are a very talented musician. I LOVE EVERTHING KROKUS EVER DID & "Change of Adress" 1986 is my favorite lp by this band. Thanks for that info.......Bo
Jesus is the way! He likes rock! You just got to read between the lines, sometimes change the words in a song...Not so much on this album...kick butt guitar!
Thank you.

I was born in 74 and always looked at the 70s as a lost decade, but now I realize it was one of the best with all this kick ass hidden gem music.
lol one of the best lol What ever

Like it. Will need to look into Krokus furthermore. Stars 9/10 in all cases, probably more. Diverse.
Underground classic band. Most people don't know older than Long Stick Gos Boom!
I got to knew them from metal rendez-vous in 1982,when I was 13

great album, thanks for the upload

I must say this album is growing on me the more I listen to it
Festival kind of sounds like 70's Scorpions - gives me satisfaction
Only similarity I hear there is in the beginning they talk about the smoke clearing or something, but sound-wise I don't really hear it.
wellnowww yeah after listening a little more kinda getting that a little
Eifach genial, meh dräck!
Check out krokus self titled album from 1976....epic album love it
Love this album. Thanks for the upload.
A VERY EXTREMELY UNDERATED BAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bo Nichols I played with Tommy Kiefer- and recorded later with Jürg. Kiefer was a very sensitive musician - in opposite to von Rohr...
Dieter Ammann..... that is so kool man, i bet you are a very talented musician. I LOVE EVERTHING KROKUS EVER DID & "Change of Adress" 1986 is my favorite lp by this band. Thanks for that info.......Bo
Bo Nichols He was really a nice guy, with a good feeling especially in mid- or slow tempo moods. And Jürg Naegeli still is a nice guy. :-)
This kiwi loves krokus especially change of address and heart attack
Awesome I was born in 72...
Great album!
77 et toujours aussi bons
Люблю этот альбом ! Аж тащусь.Послушаю его , и после него ни чего не идёт.Так я его включаю в последнюю очередь ,так сказать на десерт.

My alltime favorite rock album. Got all the old rrcords from krokus.
Bad and sad they're on the last tour. Farewell buddies
I'm 18 again like I was when I first heard Krokus in 1977

Песня Festival - Мировой хит.
И вообще Здесь одни хиты.Странно ,как такой шедевр остался на задворках мировой музыки.

Hail from AustriA

Safe to say if they woulf of kept this singer nobody in America would of gave a s**t about Krokus.
Oh I didn't know that, my wrong, accept my apologese

It is Chris von Rohr
🙌🏻 🎸🎸🪕 🥁 🎤 🎶🎵🎶
Sounds a little like Meat Loaf.
Chris Drummond DRUMMOND Same doubletrack tecnique used for both vocals.
I agree
tom kiefer as in Cinderella?
No, different one.
Here's Tommy Kiefer, in Cinderella is Tom Keifer.
Tommy Kiefer Swiss guitar legend. R.I.P. 1980`s
No - Tommy Kiefer (Swiss Guitar Player) died in the mid 80's !
@@danbrumana3 oh
Слабенький, то и не заметил я его. Против 83его? Да ну! Ни о чём! 😤
Sounds like the partrdige family
You blew the Partridge Family
LOL!
Wow, thank god they fired this singer, not terrible, but he is not Marc Stroce
the singer was not fired,it is (or it was) Chris von Rohr a founding member.Listen or watch their first video 1. Video Highway Song on UA-cam
@@jackdoomful He was eventually fired - after Headhunter. Was the bass player then and is again now.
Jesus is the way! He likes rock! You just got to read between the lines, sometimes change the words in a song...Not so much on this album...kick butt guitar!
