- Full coverage of the Freedom Factory Spectator Drags Open Track Night event during the 2023 race season. Huge thank you to the whole team at the Freedom Factory along with all the drivers who put on a great show! Unfortunately the competition rounds were cut short toward the end with a patch of rain that completely soaked the track in less than 5 minutes. We made the most of it however, and I hope you guys enjoy the video! - TBERG

I've only just become aware of this form of motorsport (regular people taking their dailies for a respectful head-to-head around a relatively small oval) but I fucking love it! It's so real you know? Street racing is very bad but also very fun and spectator drags are probably the best legal way to chase that high.
Love it! This stuff is a blast and that’s a big part of spreading it with you guys! Gives everyone a safe place to come together and have some fun!

Seems most racers were confused with the flagger
The drivers give a thumbs up when they are ready and they are watching a light, not a flag. Not much to be confused by.

If they can ever get Eroy to fly through the turns it would be hard to beat.
Is the start finish line not at the half way mark? Odd to have it right at the end of the turn.
Is it mandatory to buy a Freedom Factory hat or are the free with entry?

I think that 49 F2 pickup is sitting on a NASCAR chassis. lol. Years ago there was an old truck like that but it was white that used to do spectator racing around that area, and it was hard to beat him. The last time I got to watch it race he lost it coming out of turn 4 and came across the finish line backwards.
Its still got the ford 3/4 ton frame the cab has never been off the truck either the old ford stuff is engineered great

The stuff in the daylight was just for fun. We were running for 1000 the last races but got rained out and the entry fees refunded.

I just wanted to have fun and get a pic at the freedom factory. I also burnt some tires off and had a great time. Car is built to go straight. Just wanted to have fun
I looks like the guys racing don't know when to go. Why not have a simple light that when it goes off or on you go. all the guy in the tower just hits the button Have the light at ground level, so the guys don't have to look up. Many guys are not sure when to go, huge disadvantage
If you're scared 😨 they should not do the drag racing. Just thinking 🤔💭 they just don't want to try to hit the gas.
Why didn't the starter just drop a flag. You can't see his hands pointing if you're on the outside and a few races the drivers just sat there as he pointed... ficked up a few drivers from that

Nowhere near the level of cars and racing as at Seakonk speedway. I never fast forward through races there. Fast forwarded through most of this. Plus this race is old. Rather see the New England are races.

@@CamaroSS2236 I watched the exact same races between Kyle from the boosted Boyz and Garrett 3 weeks ago . Kyle has since put the front fenders and hood back on and he almost hit the wall on his second run against cleetus. All the same cars there. Rained out at the end. And Garrett has been up here in Michigan with the SXS blog guys in Midland and then off to silver lake sand dunes with them before going to Bristol. I don't know that cleetus does events during the week days? But what I saw was 3 weeks ago. What are you talking about, what date do you claim this occurred? I call BS!

Tesla’s participating is so unfair. Electric will always beat Gas because of the lack of engine weight let alone the way Tesla’s are built.
Make these races fair, no car stood a chance against a $60k battery that has no weight.
if Cletus sponsors it he shouldn't race he always has the most money and the most cars it is unfair for what is a spectator race!!
Cleetus the cheater. Inside lane twice! He has cheated multiple times. Also cheated again Kenny Kline in his Eclipse with the Tesla a few races ago.

Worst flagging ever. Why didnt they start each race with a flag drop. It confused many drivers when he points and they wait for light. So dumb.
