Alex, thanks for putting together such an awesome video showcasing the Pick-Axe Loop. Glad you had a great time!
Glad you enjoyed it. Your team did such a great job with the route. Can’t wait to explore the area more.
Alex, I can totally relate to this video. I’m actually recovering from crashing my Tenere 700. Six broken ribs. Riding the big adventure bikes off road is not like lighter dual sports or motocross bikes. I know when I get back out there I’ll have to recover some confidence. In the meantime it’s watching others.
Cheers man, get well soon. Best thing to do is to jump back on the horse as soon as you can.
Awesome video! You've convinced me to ride that loop. Thanks!
You're going to love it!
Great video!
Thanks!
what tires are you running?
Anakee Wilds
how do they handle on hwy when getting to dirt?@@AlexUlleri
@@greenrush4313 amazing actually. Only issue is you are limited to around 160km or you can get a bad speed wobble due to the knobbies. Most people don’t ride that fast but the grip is really good pushing hard in corners too. I really love the tires just wished they lasted longer but then you wouldn’t have the same grip.
Great video, I was going to suggest riding the R2 route of the 2024 ktm adventure rally at calabogie this year. Unfortunately, unless you already got your tickets, it's sold out.
Do they even accept non KTM riders at those?
@@AlexUlleri yes, sir. I've ridden the last 2 on my yamaha T7. There's a decent amount of non ktm bikes.
@@gonna_try_anyway7047 damn wish I had signed up for it when I saw it.
Great job filming/editing! This summer we did the Pick-Axe Loop in 2 days, a few months apart. I must admit that the northern section was tough. We went clockwise, running north out of Barry's Bay. That one steep hill, made up of nothing but baby head rocks, got the better of me. A little dent in the gas tank of my Tiger for memories! You guys handled it like champs!
Thanks man. The part in the video where I crash is the hill you are referring to. That is the toughest section of the whole trip for sure: loose baby heads. The steepness of that part just can't be captured on film, unfortunately.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Hearing your reasons for riding in the spoken word definitely clicked with me. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, much appreciated!
Great video!!!!
Thanks!!
Great video and thank you for sharing! Safe travels
Thank you and to you as well.
Great video. 👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it
Maybe we should join forces next season😀
Looks like loads of fun, thanks for sharing. My riding buddies and I are planning to do the Pick-Axe loop next summer. Cheers (from the Kingston area).
You will love it. Such a great riding area.
Awesome video! We did the Pick Axe loop this year, such a great little loop. Thanks for documenting!

Great production and entertaining/informative narration.
Much appreciated!
Nicely done. Great ride and excellent video work! Looking to do the same next fall.
Thanks. Do it, this video just scratches the surface of what you get to see.
Great video!!! Loved it
Thank you so much. ☺️
Dude, great edit! Proud of you. Til the next one!
Thanks man. Can't wait to do it again.
Hey Alex nice job on the video. Very well shot. I've ridden with Ed a bunch and Hamin a few times when I lived in Ontario. Both great guys to spend time with.
Look forward to more videos
@@pekkajokiniemi3087 Much appreciated. You're right about Ed, great guy, not so sure about that Hamin fellow. 🤣
@AlexUlleri Ha!!! If you guys ever come West Alberta way get in touch.
I'd be more than happy to show you around out here.
