Great review of the ADAM! However, I think it's wrong to say "most power supplies" when we're talking about a whopping 500mA for this pedal. For every power supply you can mention that has 500mA in one output, I can mention three other ones that don't. For example, some of the most popular power supplies on the market (especially here in Europe) like the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ only supplies 250mA, Harley Benton PowerPlan Jr. only supplies 120mA, T-Rex FuelTank Chameleon only supplies 300mA, Voodoo Lab Pedal Power Mondo only supplies 400mA, Gator G-BUS-8 only supplies 250mA, Palmer PWT 08 only supplies 250mA, and the list just goes on and on and on...
It's a good point man! It seemed to be that a lot of the ones I was looking at locally when building my pedalboard had at least one 500mA port on each unit. That being said, NZ isn't blessed with a massive range when it comes to these kinda things haha, so I've probably underestimated how many there actually are 👍
Given I used Parallax heavily before buying into pedals, that's a fantastic idea! Might be good to do a shootout between the ADAM and Parallax at some point 🤘
The only issue I have is the following: When switching ADAM on it always starts the last distortion mode played. If turned off in mode 2, and then if I want to turn it on again with mode 1 or 3 it always starts in mode 2 disregarding which foot switch you press.
That's a good point! I have noticed that but have never been caught out by it, so didn't really see it as a negative. I feel like that could be something that they could address in an update, like adding a setting on the app for if people want that
@@LivingTimmy I checked w them but they said it is the fact. I see it as a downside for live gigs when you are switching for pedals and different presets at ADAM
I wouldn't necessarily do that all of the time, but I have found myself liking the sound of the compressor on the pedal, so I push it a bit haha. Seems to work well within the context of metal mixes for me personally ✌️
That first Gecko tone..OOF! All the tones were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the bass tapping with reverb. Great video Tim!
Cheers man! That Raum reverb is like my special sauce when it comes to reverb, I put it on everything haha
Man those were some nasty bass tonez!
It's pretty crazy just how dirty this pedal can get eh!
You know it's a good pedal when you make faces. Been looking to pick up the ADAM for my bass as well
100% haha. Would definitely recommend the ADAM 🤘

I'm using a Boss adapter that states it's 200mA and it runs the ADAM fine.
Hello! Review on Parallax please !!!

Why do you need to compress that much on the bass ?? 🤔
