SPEED OF VIDEO
If the tutorial is too fast or too slow, you can use the playback feature in settings on the video to speed it up or slow it down!

WHAT I USE TO RECORD
I play a Fender Strat that is recorded directly into Studio One for processing/effects. 10/10 don't recommend a Strat for hard rock music, but sometimes you have to make do with what you have. I record the videos on my iphone.

Could not be a better example of a perfect guitar cover how to w/ tabs. You show the hands and note the little things like palm muting for newbies like myself

I really liked this cover. It did justice to what I felt was lacking in the original which was higher end notes on the guitar. It felt like the guitars were buried on the original chorus or there were no lead guitars in it. I mean it's damn metal. Make those guitars ROAR.
Thanks man. I feel you, it was interesting that the sound was so light in the mix. Definitely favored the big drums. Have you heard battling my demons? I personally like where the guitars sit in that mix, but I’ve seen people commenting that boi WHAT went to heavy on them and too light on the vox, so it’s like you just can’t win lol

@@Themplez gotcha, I might be able to help if you tell me what kind of amp and stuff, but this video is all virtual plug ins. If you go virtual, you won’t regret it, there’s so much more control and things you can do to help the tone.
@@Trads_Tabs I don’t exactly know what type of amp it is but I’ll look into trying to hook it up to my pc
@@Themplez my recommendation would be to bypass the amp. Grab a focusrite or another interface, plug into that with your guitar cord, and record into a digital workstation (I have studio one). Then get a decent plug in (virtual amp) to get the tone. I’ll be putting out a video soon on Will Putney’s virtual amp suite that is a complete game changer.

what tuning is this in
Drop D.
You could also play it in Drop C, and just move all of the positions up two frets. This would allow you to play the low octave on the chorus.
