original Miracle on 34th Street. White Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas 🎄
Your projects are sooo beautiful ❤
Hi, your video was lovely and what a shock to see a pattern I've done! It's been on my wall year round forever. Dimensions, A Treasured Time. Lol.
Hello Samantha 😀 I have to say again how much I like what you did with the "What Remains is Love"! Of course you did a great job with the stitching and you picked the perfect frame, it looks amazing, I love it ❤
I really like all your Christmas stitching but my favourite ones are "Holly" and "Santa's Gifts", I can't wait to see those two finished, I am sure they will be stunning, the "Santa's Journey Stocking" also I think 🤩
Yes, I think "Fairy Grandmother" will look good on the fabric you showed us but of course it's safer to make a floss toss before you decide 🧵
Thanks for the fun video, have a very happy Christmas with your family and everyone you love and looking forward to seeing you again 😍🎄🎅🧵🪡
Thanks for the catch up! Have a great Christmas time and happy stitching!n
Christmas movies are so fun. My favorites are The Santa Clause series, Christmas Carol the animated version with Jim Carrey, Charlie Brown Christmas, and of course, all the claymation movies! They are all fun. Enjoy your holidays and Merry Christmas.
I wish you a Merry Christmas also. And a happy new year of stitching.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! See you in the new year!
Merry Christmas, Sarah! And happy new year if we don't see you until then
Hi Samantha 👋, great video, I can't wait to see what you bring us in 2025. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Safe and Happy New Year 🎉 🥂. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas Samantha! I enjoyed stitching while watching your video on this relaxing Boxing Day. You’re still my favourite Flosstuber and I can’t wait to see more of you and your projects in 2025. Christmas Vacation is my favourite Christmas movie, but since you already own it, I’d suggest The Holiday with Kate Winslet 🎄
It was a great flosstube Samantha. I have the Fairy Grandmother stitched…I called her Granny Meg as I think she looked like a Granny Meg 🤣She is one of my favourite pieces 🤎
I love all your stitching pictures, they are wonderful. My favorit film on Christmas is Christmas Vacation and Polar Express. I wish you a Happy new Year 2025.😍🎉🎊
White Christmas is my favorite! I have watched all your videos, I love them. I am a 1980 baby too!
Love your videos Samantha ❤
Another wonderful floss tube. You were gifted so many gorgeous L&L patterns. Secret Santa was my unicorn chart and I finally purchased one. Would love to see you stitch that one. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year with your family.
I finished Holly just before the Jingle Ball. She was such a fun stitch. I loved the colors. I hope you and your family and having very Happy Holidays!
I think it's a wonderful idea to write the name of the chart and when you found the Told in the Garden stitch!
Hi Samantha, I enjoyed your video. Merry Christmas from Kansas,
A merry Christmas to you! ❤❤❤
Watched your video and immediately went to buy a partial kit for Fairy Godmother. BEAUTIFUL 🤩
Always enjoy your videos. Your smiling face and upbeat attitude lifts my mood every time. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas.
looking forward to seeing you stitch the Nora corbett dragon. I have the first one that I haven't started yet.
I absolutely adore watching your content. You are very engaging and inspiring. I have been inspired to start some of my Dimension kits because of you. I have the same ornament one and immediately got it out and started stitching.
Hi Samantha. I love your videos. You always make me smile when you show such passion for stitching. My favourite Christmas film is The Santa Clause. I was 2 when it came out and its my must watch every year. Happy stitching ❤
I've been working on Santa's Journey for at least a couple of years! I'm 90% done maybe?. It's gorgeously detailed. Looking forward to seeing your progress and seeing it in a different light.
Love watching your videos! The frame you choose for What Remains is Love is perfect, it brings out the colours of the pattern! Happy Holidays for you and your loved ones! 🎄✨
I'm currently stitching the butternut road "catch the wind" stitch that you rescued.
I have started in the center with the girl in the green dress.
She is almost finished.
It is a wonderful relaxing stitch that I can't wait to see fully finished on my wall.
I purchased the pattern at a local thrift shop for New Zealand $5.00.
It's true - I often find it hard to remember to come back and comment--thanks for the reminder to think of it. I want to wish you a Merry Christmas (belated cause I'm still catching up on videos!) and a Happy Stitchy New Year. I look forward to all of your videos - and all the beautiful things you'll be able to show us in 2025!
I do love seeing all of your stitching but my favorite is your kind voice and the encouragement you give to all of us. Happy New Year!
I just Googled Needlepaints and there were a number of sites with information on conversions to DMC. (I didn't fully go down the rabbit hole to see if the site was still active, but one actually showed them for sale.)
As others have mentioned, your Butternut Road pattern is Catch the Wind. My mother stitched it back in the day, along with many other MLI and NC patterns, but I can't remember where most of them went. I really wish we'd kept records or taken pictures, but it was largely before the digital camera/cellphone era and it just didn't occur to us. I'm glad stitchers today have so many media/opportunities to document their work. Who knows, maybe you daughters will one day far in the future watch your flosstubes and relive this other side of their mother!
I hope you and your loved ones have a merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2025. 🎄💕
It is always a joy to watch your flosstube, with your beautiful pieces and stash. 😍
Always love watching your videos! Your fun, positive attitude and love for cross stitch is a joy to see!❤
I love that you have fallen in love with some of the classic designers. I have been collecting for decades now and am still holding on to designs from last century!!! I started Christmas Couriers in January hoping to complete all to make a mantle piece. I got 6 out of the 9 reindeer finished and they are gorgeous. Favorite holiday movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life” but my husband and I also watch “Die Hard” and “Trading Places” since they take place during the holidays.
Always so fun to watch you! Beautiful projects and your joy in sharing them is inspiring! Happy Holidays!🎄
Merry Christmas from Edmonton
Another great video. The pieces you shared are beautiful. Merry Christmas!
Samantha I did Google the needle paints to DMC conversion so it looks like you can do a conversion for it. I love the frame you picked for your black bird! And I think I must stitch Holly by NC. She is just too cute!! Ok you need to have Miracle on 34th street for your movie collection, as well as, the new Miracle on 34th street and It’s a Wonderful Life❤❤❤ I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and looking forward to a wonderful New Year!
❤❤❤!
Thankyou. Just subscribed 😊
Hello From Tennessee USA! Others have already said the pattern name and info, but I thought I'd share how I found it. You can Google search a photo so.... I paused and took a photo of it on your video and searched. I've found this so helpful with things I've found at thrift shops. 😀. It was wonderful to see your work and all your possible future projects. ❤
Hello Samantha....so happy you got one of your beautiful creations framed. Looks beautiful. Love the Hollyberry fairy....so pretty. You have the best freebee finds....lucky you. My daughter made herself a Christmas stocking. That was her first and probably last stitch...lol.Love Santa's gifts. I also LOVE the Santa from Lavender and Lace. I hope to start that in the New Year. Looking forward to the day that you tell us how you will display all of the reindeer. One of my favourite holiday movie is Prancer....I used to watch it every year. Yes, I think you should do a toss floss for fairy grandmother. Have a fabulous Christmas with your family and may the new year keep you healthy and happy and of course stitching. Needless to say, you are one of my favourite stitchers
I have so enjoyed all of your videos, Samantha. I’ve been watching since your first one. Just wanted to pop on here and say Happy Holidays to you and your family. I love the old Christmas movies like White Christmas and the original A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim but also enjoy rewatching The Holiday, Love Actually and A Christmas Story. Oh…and I have had Giggles in the Snow for 20 something years. It was put away for a long time but on my wip list now. I’ve almost finished the girl. They are so cute!
You were so lucky to find that beautiful picture. I love it also.
I loved this video! I buy lots of Dimensions kits and vintage Lavender and Lace. I always come away wanting to find all the patterns you have shown. I think the Tim Allen The Santa Clause movie, mainly the first one. Another favorite is The Preacher’s Wife with Denzel Washington. My kids and I also like Little Women with Winona Ryder in it as a Christmas movie. Enjoy your holiday!
Hi Samantha, I’ve been watching you from the very start and have enjoyed every one of your videos. Thank you for always being so happy and excited for all things cross stitch and for inspiring me to try new things. Especially the fancy ladies 👍🏻🧚♀️🧝♀️🧜♀️💃🏻. I always love to see what fancy lady or person you’ve been stitching on for the month. Right now I’m working on 2 Bella Filipina charts The Phoenix Queen and Alice. Looking forward to many more fun videos from you. Merry Holidays 🎄🎁…Heather
Hi Samantha, I discovered your channel when I restarted stitching in the summer. I loved seeing your Mirabilia and this week I finally started my first Mirabilia. I went for Royal Games I. Happy holidays and thanks for sharing.
Such a pleasure to see your updates and Christmas patterns while stitching this morning. Please do keep working on the Dimensions ornament stocking - its such a special design. Happy holidays, happy new year, happy stitching!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Oh Samantha you have really brought me back in time with all of your lavender and lace charts. There were only a couple of them that I had never seen. I used to own so many of those. When I learned to cross stitch I had the most wonderful cross stitch not to far from me and I spent so much time there. I thought I could stitch everything but of course I couldn’t. Thanks for taking me back in time. All of your stitching is so beautiful and your framed piece is so pretty too. You are a very happy person and it really does show on you and everything you do. God Bless You and yours.
You always inspire me to try more difficult projects-to stretch myself. The name of that Butternut Road is Catch The Wind, BR-4, copyright 1991. One of my favorites, too. I love vintage! Happy Holidays, Samantha!!❤
Samantha your stockings make me want to go in search of a dimensions gold kit ❤
Love your videos ❤
❤❤😊
I’ve stitched about 16 Mirabilia/Lavender and Lace pieces and when I had a lot of white, I used DMC satin floss instead of cotton. It gives a nice luster using 1 strand. Your stitching is lovely!! I also love lugana; actually more than linen. Love Christmas Vacation!
My husband's grandmother had been stitching Ice Angel for my sister in law when she passed. When he and I started dating, they learned I knew how to cross-stitch - they still had the unfinished stitch and all the thread and beads and everything she'd put together for the project. I finished it for her, and thus began my love of linen stitching and Lavender & Lace.
I love that you were able to finish that project in her honor, such a touching gesture! ❤
@@HyggeStitcher I can now do no wrong in my MIL's eyes. LOL!
Big congrats on the thrift rescue. I just rescued EarthAngel from Lavendar and Lace, stitched and framed. I was so happy to find her, I know exactly how you feel.
I'm so excited for you! I love rescuing pieces! 💖
Samantha! I've never seen "Christmas Chores"! What a great pattern! 😍 I'm so excited you're going to start more stockings! 🎉
The Butternut Road "Catch the Wind" find is super fabulous! I would die.
Love that Christmas piece you've started on the green sugar cookie. So classy!🤩
P.S. You and I share Christmas movie taste! Great choices. Family Stone is wonderful.
Merry Xmas Samantha! Thanks so much for sharing your fabulous projects. I’ve enjoyed following along this year with your “Live in the sunshine “ and Year of the Dragon” SALs. Looking forward to catching up with you again in 2025 ❤
the butternut road is Catch the Wind...and someone did a wonderful job of stitching it...
I bought my daughter her first Nora Corbett fairy for Christmas…I hope she enjoys it as much as you do. Your stocking looks fabulous! Have a fabulous Christmas Samantha. I will be doing the Owl Forest pattern you gave me for the New Years Eve 12x12…I am really looking forward to it. Take care. 🦉🎄🎅🏼🧵
I kitted up Holly last Christmas after seeing yours! This year I started stitching it. Love your stitching! Merry Christmas!🎄
Christmas Vacation is my favorite Christmas movie too! My favorite part is when Ellen is talking to her daughter in the kitchen and says "I don't know what to say, except it's Christmas and we're all in misery" then she aggressively chops a head of lettuce. 🤣 Have a Merry Christmas! 🎄❤
As always, really enjoyed your video. Needlepaints were actually threads that were "created" for Marilyn Levit Imblum (sp). At the time she was designing, DMC didn't have some of the colors that she wanted in her charts, so she had another thread company create those colors for her. Nora actually used some of those in her Maidens of the Seasons charts for the winter lady which I'm currently stitching. You can easily sub those colors now with DMC. They aren't variagated so easy to match. In fact, on the TIAG (Told in a Garden) website, they have the DMC subs listed for most of the Needlepaints. Hope this helps. Have a very Merry Christmas!
I absolutely love your videos! And I’m very excited to see more ☺️ have a great Christmas 🎄 🎉
Thank you so much for watching!! 🎄
Hi Samantha! Thank you for all the enthusiasm and inspiration! My must have Christmas movie is Scrooge, the black and white version from the 1950’s with Alastair Sims. I simply can’t get enough of A Christmas Carol and also love going into DC to see the stage production as well. It warms my heart that you rescued that beautiful framed cross stitch, just imagine all the time that stitcher put into that piece! Can’t wait to hear your plans for 2025 and make some of my own! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
❤ Found your picture but can find out who it is by, It's called "Victorian Girls Flying Kites". Have a great week. Always waiting to see what you have been up too.
You can find “catch the wind” at stitchers. They have a full kit or you can just get the pattern etc
Great find. I love Butternut Road patterns. Merry Christmas
Some of my must see movies a Christmas: White Christmas, Prancer, Scrooge, It’s a Wonderful Life, Little Women, Miracle on 34th Street, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, The Waltons Homecoming
Your wips and charts are amazing. You have so many that have been on my wishlist for awhile. I'm working on Santa's Sleigh. I want to stitch the Reindeer too but haven't gotten the charts yet. I need to. Love your channel. Merry Christmas! ❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤ I hope you will have a delightful Christmas with your loved ones. Hugs Cindy
Samantha, I enjoyed your video. Love Actually is a great Christmas movie. I love watching your wips. Always find something else to add to my wish list lol. Happy holidays
Love love your videos!
Your favorite Christmas movies match mine. It’s not technically a Christmas movie but I like watching Little Women during Christmas. I haven’t watched Family Stone yet this year. Such a good movie, I cry every time.
A great video! Love all your projects. Happy stitching from Southern Alberta.
Hope you have a wonderful and loving holiday season. I love that you are rescuing cross stitch from the thrift store. It is all about respecting the work.
I have recently picked up 5 Teresa Wentzlers - Peacock tapestry, The castle sampler, and three Carousel Horses (winter, summer, fall) missing the Spring.... maybe one day I will find it - got those from a destash group - also in the same group found a Mirabilia - Christmas in london which I am kitting up for 2025 start
The Luca S kit could also be done as individual motifs for ornaments. Just an idea. You could use the Aida for those. Fairy godmother would be fine on that linen. Merry Christmas to you and your family Samantha. I will see you at the January meeting.
I always love your videos. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2025. Merry Christmas
I definitely want to stitch fairy grandmother. I also want to stitch firefly fairies by lavender and lace.
I love your stitching and your UA-cam!! I’ve been so inspired by you and Arica’s flossversity this year that I kitted up and started 10 Mira/NC’s!! I can’t wait to see your progress on Mooka- it was one of my starts.
I love your beautiful stitching! It’s always a pleasure to see you!
I have to watch the movie ‘Love Actually’ every Christmas. Looking forward to stitching with you in 2025! ❤
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I worked on a Year of the Dragon SAL piece while watching.
I stitched “Fairy. Grandmother “ in 2005. She is so lovely!!
Samantha, as always a wonderful video. The needle paint floss is hard to find. I'm not sure it is being made. You can go online and find some conversions. I found couple but figure how to send it to you. If I remember they are solids. Hope you find them.
I have that Christmas Tree one done. My aunt stitched it for me and it’s hung in my hallway all year round 😊
Fun to watch. Motivating and encourages me to perhaps take on a more complicated stitched piece. I love the movie Jack Frost. It’s a good one for Christmas time.
New subscriber here :D You're so lucky and I love all your finds + WIPS! Happy Holidays ;)
Great video Samantha.....from one guild member in Calgary thank you for sharing your wonderful projects. I am eagerly waiting for my new Mira to arrive which is MD 197 . The Sound of Music and White Christmas are my must watch Christmas movies . I want to wish you and your family all the best. Happy stitching.🧵🪡
Samantha you found a fabulous cross stitch! It is pure joy!!! It is Catch the Wind by Butternut Road. I have two sisters and stitched this pretending the blonde was my younger sister, the auburn haired girl was my older sister and I was the one with brown hair. When my sisters are visiting, they always say 'there we are!'
You are such an inspiration, Samantha and never fail to motivate and encourage me to continue. December doesn't have a lot of stitching time until after Christmas but I can steal moments to watch flosstube and think about what I will pick up next to stitch. Thanks as always, Merry Christmas and happy stitching!
Love you stitching it's so beautiful. You get me motivated when I'm dragging my feet. Such amazing patterns you are collecting. Merry Christmas. See you soon.
Needlepaints are hard to find. There might be a DMC conversion somewhere, you could look to use another speciality thread. I stitched Angel of Winter on a lighter background and had it framed as a Fire Screen. Enjoy Royal Holiday, another one I have done.
I always love seeing your Map of HRH behind you! I have that as a WIP and seeing it finished is motivating!
Have a merry Christmas Samantha and looking forward to watching more of your beautiful and inspiring projects and adventures in 2025!
Great Floss Tube episode Samantha. I have enjoyed your videos for a long time now.
Yeaaaaa ❤❤❤
Loved your December pieces. Thanks for sharing. Some of my Christmas favorites are It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, O'Henry's Full House -1952, Jingle Jangle, Bells of St.Mary.
What a wonderful video as usual! I absolutely love anything that you post!! Your projects and stitching are amazing…I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! ❤❤
My 2 Christmas classics are It’s a Wonderful Life and White Christmas.
