as a subscriber I’m here for the squarebody However i personally will watch almost everything just to support you and the channel as it takes a lot of time that most people don’t understand and hope to help you all grow as well so we get to keep enjoying the content
Well, we really appreciate that support. It means a lot. In the busy day of running multiple businesses and doing what we do it does take a lot of time and effort, but we feel as if our little small town family dealership has some content that the world really likes to see so we really do appreciate that support and kind words.
I just discovered you all. Watching specifically for square chevys. However anything old and clean is interesting and will get my attention from you all. With the quality of vehicles you are lresenting
Well, we appreciate the kind words. We will do our best to keep up the content some days are extremely busy and we just can’t capture it and things calm and things go and that’s been happening for full eternity of our business so trying better to at least take the moment to capture the really good ones Some very very exclusive, unusual, and rare and others maybe not as much so … but some crazy stuff comes across our parking lot
I follow ya’ll exclusively for square bodies. One day I will buy one from you when the right one comes along. I’m looking for a 1974ish square body, two tone blue and white, 350/350, stock. Keep the content coming. You guys are feeding the nostalgia!
I follow you specifically for the square bodies as I am only the second owner of a 1987 long bed. I have only done a little work on it. Paint and the main thing has been the installation of a 6.0 LS. Keep the square body videos coming please and thank you for all your videos.
I’m toward the end of this first video and I’m sorry I didn’t find y’all soon except for notification I never do that for anything I never have a normal sleep schedule. But everything in that building except for tractors and except for the paddle tire thing. I’d take or buy if I had the money I’d gladly take and cherish and drive. I have a full custom frame off restoration of it 24-year-old pick up, but it’s my daily driver and my only vehicle. You build it to enjoy it not a painting.
The most rare square body models these days are the long wheel base stepside pickups, especially the three quarter ton & one ton ones. But the short wheel base stepside pickups on the other hand I still see on the roads sometimes.
@DavisOffRoad1 & those square bodies were the last to have the 3 speed manual on the column transmission. I liked those transmissions & sadly they don't make them anymore.
@DavisOffRoad1 the base motors in those square bodies were a 250 inline six from 1973 - 1984, 4.3 litre V6 from 1985 - 1987, 292 inline six in 1988, & a 350 V8 from 1989 - 1991. In 1988, the 350 V8 became the base motor on the square body SUVs.
Started following for the squarebody and lifted trucks. Then I found out your only a couple hours away and pretty much watch all your truck and squarebody content along with the offroad shop.
Local guy that enjoys anything and everything . Always enjoy the 4x4 Trucks, especially Mud Trucks, but i like to see what else comes through y'alls Lot too. Dare to be Different 💪👀🏁
I’m 6:46 in you said enough square body stuff 🤬😂 I’m a bow tie guy and love the old bronco and anything old and classic ❤. Your next build the red long bed I guess missed the year 76?
Daniel carries a lot of them in the shop.. for the 79 project that we posted ealier all those bolts were removed from the truck and cleaned and sent off for zink coated. Crazy but true very detailed build going on there
Build shows and classic restoration shows are my passion and yours pop and and seen the 83? Square body ❤ then to point of the ole blazer when y’all it hit the memories!!!! 😂 I’m 57 in May I had a 74 just like that with the full top to can take off. Was so bad ass but I was 18 and took me and least 4-5 buddies to lift that top off. I can picture it right now! I’m new but had me 2:41 seconds in I subscribe and comment and share. I got lot of catching up to do but not a bad thing
Keep watching and be sure to scroll back lots of videos and lots of content, and be sure to catch your other channel also under Davis auto sales not as exciting, but a lot of good content also
I follow you for the square body and lifted trucks. I have a square body that I’ve been piecing together for years. I think I’m going to reach out to you and let you do a full nut/bolt restoration on it 👍
@@DavisOffRoad1 I really appreciate the work that went into making this truck and I would not do any paint or body work to it. It looks perfect the way it is!

The red Chevrolet we’re about to start the redoing process was originally a long bid stepside if if you look at that first picture when it was green
@DavisOffRoad1 o wow because trying to find one of those today is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.
Yes, for sure they are very very rare most of them long since write it out, but they were also very rare to start with
