OMG! I recently found my dads old rio karma and was wondering how I can transfer the songs I want to transfer? I'm having a difficult time understanding how to use the software... could you maybe teach me? Could we possibly call?
Hi, there are two methods to take... 1) Use an old WinXP or older PC/Laptop to install drivers from Internet Archive to use USB 2.0 to browse for files or 2) You need the cradle for this, I gave my Rio a manual ip address, minus a password and connected it to my internet router, I then went into my web browser on my PC and entered the ip address I gave it and downloaded the java file presented in the webpage. This gives two programs to try. I used the Rio Music Manager Lite to begin uploading a new album I have to it, you can also use it to save folders of music from the Rio down to your computer. PS The network approach is a little slow! - I hope this helps!
