With the barrels, ("How odd.... only the first one is filled to the brim") you needed to make all odd numbers with barrel 3 being completely full since it's the first one in the picture. That's why 1 in barrel 5, 3 in barrel 3, and 5 in barrel 8 was the answer.

Ohh, I really love that series of games! I've played quite a few "Escape Room in a Box"-type games, and these rarely disappoint. They're also nice beause you can give them away to other friend circles once you're done with them, since there is little replay value and they can be reset for others easily.
I love the unlocked games the arcade version is my favorite. My game cafe sells the exit games too. They are more like a escape room but only one time use with cutting, tearing and shaping items. They are only $15 cad I recommend giving that game a try.
After seeing the first 10 minutes of this video, I went online and bought all 11 Unlocks. We just finished the first adventure, my wife and I. Thank you, Chris! ❤

On that barrel puzzle you had to force, it looks like you needed 4 doses in the large barrel. The machine under the clock looks to be reading empty at 4 bars/doses.
Awesome concept! I've played some of the Exit board game escape rooms but this seems to have multiple games per box which is a lot more exciting. very cool (and awesome video, like always)

You should indeed have started with the easier adventures ;) All the Unlock! are great, some have genius ideas and mechanisms. It’s cool your are starting this series. Another great thing about the game is that you don’t have to destroy any card, etc. So you can resell it or share it with friends. BUT, you might want to keep the first series as there might be a bigger secret to discover using all the boxes… :D
You should check out "Final Girl" its a solo boardgame where you are the last survivor of a horror movie trying to defeat the bad guy. i think youd enjoy playing it. Id definitely enjoy watching it!

My friend introduced and made me play the demo version of Unlock! and I LOVE it! We played more at the boardgame cafe in our city and it was soooo fun I wanna go there again and play more next time

Two tabletop escape game recommendations that are the closest experience to an actual brick & mortar escape room, IMO: "Escape Room in a Box - The Werewolf Experiment" by Juliana Patel & Ariel Rubin (Mattel). But IF you can get your hands on the original (non-Mattel branded) Kickstarter version that includes better components & production, it would be ideal. Also highly recommended is "Escape the Crate", a monthly subscription service (but also offers one-time single box or bundle purchases). Watching you guys play Unlock very entertaining... would love to see you bring more to the table!
Looks fun! I've played one specific to Denmark (my home country), but you didn't need all the cards as the choices you made affected the narrative. At one point we had to steal a boat and sail to Sweden, ran into the boat owner's friend and had the choice of trying to reason with him or knock him out. I chose to knock him out and move the story along, but the guy I was playing with clearly couldn't follow the MC's train of delusional thoughts... I was correct to choose violence, though
Me and my partner have all the Unlock! games. they are suprisingly incredibly challenging. i would strongly recomend the circus tent game. great fun! I I was shouting at 13!
Ok I loved this...Ilove your solo puzzles but it is great to see these where you go on journeys together! I laughed so much and was really into the puzzle solving. More please!
I got for of these in Florida, I do these with my boys. They are a blast. Some get difficult and require knowledge on the subject. Very fun and sometimes educational. Chris ur the best hope all is well!

Also, keep an eye out for Box Two. Neil Patrick Harris announced some months ago in an "Auto-complete Interview" that he's working on a sequel to Box One. I haven't seen anything else about Box Two since then, so I can't say what the status is.

Love the UNLOCK! games. BTW, the time machine on 21 had four bars on the fuel tank, so it needed 4 units of the fuel from the 3 containers
