Hey, it is a Japanese game. Japanese game industrial standard ISO G1ND2UD13. It is fun though once you get the Terminus weapon. Mixing and match Sigils with each characters produce different style of playing. I feel you. I hate grinding games too. But there is joy in trying out different mix and match of sigils.
Yesterday I cleaned my sigil inventory and ended up with almost 200 transmarvels. I wish there were a more efficient way to roll knickknack boucher's. Now I have PTSD with SUGOI/UN-BE-LI-VA-BLE

@@SolaceAndDread theres really no need to savescum, you end up flooded with tons of transmarvel pulls shit is not even funny, its like an infinite circle where you turn all the loot you get from transmarvels into moure coupons into more transmarvel pulls. You can spend hours until you end up at 0 resources.

130+ hours here, All terminus weapons, War Elemental, Supp 5, etc. A lot of really good points in the video especially for new players. I've literally played with randoms the ENTIRE time *moment of silence for that* and now that I've fully awakened about 6 terminus weapons, the material grinding is a bit too boring even coming from me where I grew up grinding JRPGs for hundreds even thousands of hours. The gameplay keeps me engaged and is still fun but like you said, other then gaining more "damage" or perfecting a build with sigils there is really not much else for right now in endgame at least for me. I'm hopeful for the future content at least but I hope there are plenty of QOL changes coming with that too. (Cagliostro is the goat)

I have nearly 400 hours. Played with randoms as well. It's very hard for me to get back on the game now. It's the same couple fights over and over. And if you want to do Terminus weapons, which ive done 10 or 11 now. It's very very boring fortitude crystal stages. The game just hit a wall for me and i see very little point in continuing even with dlc. I can't see what it would add that wouldn't have us still running the same few enemies.
People have been getting really mad when i say these things. Even though i always accompany it with i love the game. I enjoyed it. It was well worth my money and i got my money's worth from it and i recommend it. But for the type of game it was supposed to be, the endgame is extremely lacking. You think to yourself man how long is it going to take me to get these terminus weapons? Nowhere near as long as you think. And once you get them, get them leveled. Then what?
Farming for min maxing builds is extremely poor. It's either the horrifically boring transmute/transmarvel system, which i have actually fallen asleep multiple times doing. Plus it's pretty much ruined my controller. Or it's curios. Which is afk farming.
I'm playing this game and i'm like damn this is such a great game. Can't believe my dumb friends didn't even try it. Then all of a sudden, it's oh well fck, the game is over. There is NOTHING left. Anime monster hunter it is not. 400 hours in a MH game is barely getting started.
And yes Cags is life.

QOLs such as multiple transmutes and/or transmarvels would be appreciated.
As a fellow grinder (all term weapons/all characters raised/ all awakened) I agree whole heartedly that playing it with friends is the saving grace of the psychiatric ward that is the lobbies there. I can tell this game just becomes not a slug, but a literal brick wall to mash your head in to get what you want. We need more things in the game like special event quests that drop us what we want or something worth grinding for not just bragging rights.
Also yes, Narmaya, Rackam and Zeta mains....we know you have arthritis at this point so please, take it slow and play safer...

It's painful but true. Everything you said about the endgame. I just realized it myself a few days ago. I don't know if I wanna keep playing... It's so many hours of repeating and repeating the same quests just to get a liiittle bit stronger.. Or even repeating one quest for over an hour and not even getting ONE SINGLE DROP of the material you need.. "Why do I do this to myself?", was my thought at that point.
For the sba wait at least the middle or more for chain i beg you, it stuns the boss even more

I am stuck at Bahamut Versa in proud difficulty... I cannot play the game online due to Network error, I cannot set up the AI with proper builds because I cannot drop correct sigils. I've never seen a war element sigil....
I could go a good long while without seeing that Bahamut fight. I could do it blindfolded at this point I think. though, watching you and the gang go through it was fun. and this the solace and dread as a spectator

Keep in mind, doing SBAs in pairs is valuable in every fight, not just Proto Bahamut.
You can also hold block the whole time while I attacking, you’ll block whatever comes out and your attack will instantly stop lol
The truth is there is no endgame. You will be grinding for 400 hours

I realized this yesterday unfortunately.. still a really fun game.. but the grind is literally infinite. I'll definitely go back but in the meantime it's ff 7 and soon to be dragons dogma.
People that have been playing the mobile game before warned about this problem right before relinks release popped off. This is the SAME problem the mobile version has been dealing with for years now. But people were just too ignorant to realize this.
The fights were cool when i started, but know i'm so strong that those fights are over in 2 minutes or so. It's nice, but i'd also like a challenge while being maxed out. Also they need to increase drop rates for some Upgrade Items. They turned this game into a Mobile Game in the End somehow.

The main reason why revive is such a big deal there is a tutorial for it which you have to confirm to move on with the story there is no excuse here.
Regarding guard little fun fact players can guard into a dodge and dodge into a guard this has saved me countless times sure I still die every once and a while but this is a very useful trick.
Yessir! The only thing I can think of is the tutorial is so early and you don't start dying until well post the story.

I feel you on the Proto Bahamut but not everyone knows about 2 pairs burst SBA and sometimes we get people doing it for the first time trust me I know I always play with randoms lol.
Ill wait to pass my judgement on endgame after another month or so has passed id say. Thats when usually devs like this usually make one or two significant changes to systems. Especially with Lucilius, i can def see some adjustments to certain drop rates and such being made hopefully

I think a problem with newer players that use glass cannon sigil builds is that they see guide creators use them and they feel compelled to use it as well. It’s obviously not the creators fault but it should be stated if you aren’t 100% comfortable with a specific boss or trying a new character run a few defensive sigil.
As narmaya main i never die so much. There’s bunch of OP sigils. I run with improve dodge, stoutheart with steel nerve, potion hoarder, autorevive. Aegis with tyranny should allow her to have 41k+ hp.
As for mvp, im not sure why lots if players wanted that title xD its useless. I play narmaya since she’s pretty. Just play well dont die, as not dying also equates to doing more dps. Cheers!~

Loved the game. Now I am at the post game. My damage is completely capped with Zeta. It’s gonna be a long grind for the terminus weapon.
I am kind of stuck and confused about what to do at the moment. Also it takes forever to find matches.
I would like some advise as on what to do. Should I farm curios while I strengthen my AI party? Or should I farm sigils and overmasteries for Zeta?
You named one of my biggest problems, most of the times it takes ages to find other players.. And I just can't do the last few proud missions with only AI team members, even if I have built them pretty far now, they're just not doing enough damage and/or dying too often.. I need online players but it's so frustrating waiting for sooo long for just doing one quest (except slimepede and stuff, I always find people for those 😅)
@@BriddahOnFire I finally overcame this by waiting for online games. Otherwise I had to grind my other AI party members. Queuing during weekend nights helped to find the matches, though there was still some wait time. After all that wait and failing a few times even with an online party I got the proud quests before Proto Bahamut done. Good news is that it is easy to find online games for Proto Bahamut, so farming Terminus weapon is not that bad. I already got like 11 of them. Maxing them out is a different story. Also the curio farm is just too arduous.
@@sife1808 Yeah, I guess I'll have to do the same, just wait forever to find online players.. Nobody seems to want to do those last quests (again) before Proto, which I can totally understand 😅 Once they've beaten it they never go back. Which will be the same for me.
And yes, the grind for needed materials and especially having to rely on RNG for sigils and so on, is exhausting.. Don't know how much longer I can make myself do that. It already almost became a chore for me instead of fun.
@@BriddahOnFire When a game feels like a chore, take a break from it. I usually play like 2-3 games at a time. So, if one gets boring I play another and come back to it later. Here's hoping the new content will make it fun for a while longer.

11:27 Could anybody explain to me more about why do we have to split the SBA into duo on Proto Bahamut. I'm still new to this, and mostly I always tried to do full burst, if possible, so that was a bit confusing to me. Thank you in advance.
To keep him from advancing the phase, so you can keep damaging him. Usually if there's lancelot, eugen, io, or any character that can use freeze or paralyze, they'll freeze and/or paralyze proto baka to keep him from "waking up" so your teammate and you can keep attacking after using duo SBA twice
A good team can even skip the green proto baka and finish it in under 4 minutes
Its because the boss is locked in the animation longer then in Full Burst and that means a lot more damage over time then hitting him with a full Burst. Just try it out and you will See the difference in dmg
Yeah, it's just exploiting the animation lock. This also build up link gauge. The others explained it perfectly. ❤️
Love the game, but it's just grind for the sake of grind. I've had a blast, but for now, I'll put it down untill the next content drop or major QOL
For me a Game is Great when I can get about 100h of fun out of it and I think this game is one of those.
I don't need my Character to be fully maxed out, cause what am I gonna do with that if I allready did every mission? 😅
What I'm trying to say is Games don't need to have content for 1000+ hours to be good.
My problem is Curios RNG. Just cause 2 Sigils. This is stupid for a paid (not Gacha) game.
As a Zeta main, I rarely get hit but if I do, it's because I'm a greedy mf DPS slave... well at least we don't die as much as Narmayas out there lmao
I wish silver centrum was more easily farmable.... The terminus weapons need a higher drop rate..... I have foaught Neo Bahamut like 47 times and I have 5 of them.............
Bruh you are lucky! its usually 1 drop every 10ish runs for the average person.

In my experience the most reliable way to farm silver centrum is killing the skeleton bosses in maniac for frosted and searing war axes to trade into siero. Not only does the mission only take about a minute, but the resource amount requires is low and the bosses also drop silver centrum as you grind.
AFK farm Maniac single Nazarbonju. It will drop silver centrums occasionally and give you tons of Chilling Demon Eye. Then go online and farm the Maniac double Griffin fight with people. It's fast af and gives you fortitude crystals to level the weapons. And gives you Giant Beaks which you combine with Chilling Demon Eyes to make Silver Centrums. You also have a chance for Silver Centrums to drop from that quest. Plus you get a ton of Exceptional Refinium from both of the quests. Plus you get curios. Plus you get Rafale Coins which can be used to buy more Exceptional Refinium.
You complain now about having to repeat Proto. But the alternative is farming weapon mats in the super easy and super boring quests i mentioned above. You'll learn that is the true endgame. And it is boring. Fighting Proto is the highlight of the game, you just don't realize it yet.
Pubs is kinda whatever for me cuz I rarely fail a quest anyway. Lucilious is gonna be a different story tho. I have a group so I'm not too worried but I'll fuck around in pub just to see the pain.
Great video champ and thank you for speaking about that damn L1 button or just guard in general because I swear all people care about is damage and don’t understand the best form of increasing damage is not being dead half of a fight lol. Yes this game is a little too grindy with not enough rewards and I’m like you if I could spend dammit I would because getting 1 curio maybe a drop is atrocious
They had mercy on us by not introducing ways to speed that up.
I didnt find out about the sba unspoken rule until i paired up w a ferry/cag i was fuckin amazed bro 😂 but its not like the game told us i dont think the playerbase just taught others online

i'm a Zeta main and maybe you don't believe me but i've never been a problem to any party in Proto fight. I think your experience with others Zeta main is just pure bad luck and i'm really sorry to hear about that
Also a zeta main and most of the time I'm the MVP or just a little under that, I don't die as often and I use the burst the right time, I don't know if it's just he two of us but I Didn't fount that many bad zeta players

I've done proto idk how many times. Enough to get all terminus weapons and then prob 50 more runs because there's nothing else to do. Every single run was with randoms. Bad players play every single character. Idk about Zeta, barely ever see anyone playing her tbh. I love her except in the Pyet fight. As for Narmaya, more ppl play her so there will be more bad ppl that play her. Biggest disparity i've seen is with the gunners. They either make the fight take less time or they do nothing.
MVP means next to nothing btw. I can get it at will with Cags just by lowering defense with collapse and spamming phantasmagoria off cooldown
I actually think most everything said was valid. Funny thing is i actually have had virtually none of these issues. My rng has been blessed and matchmaking has had very minimal issues. Idk if there is a difference running on pc, but for a version 1.0 i still think this is a strong start. It will get stale very quickly if they dont have more expansive dlc however.
I grinded 300 curios from proud missions and got nothing from them, no sup dmg no war elementals. i have 3 sup5 and 5 war elementals already. but that honestly killed it for me. I open up the game and just cant bring myself to queue up another mission lol.
Same I grinded slimpede for 2+ hours yesterday with no drops... I'm exhausted after the grind

Man I started playing Monster hunter when they had a game trial for MH rise on the nintendo switch in 2022 and got hook on this monster hunter genre.
Then for 2024, I played GBFR , I see Blue protocol is coming out to the west (Idk this one, I heard bad things about this one), and am thrilled for Chrono odyssey which slated to release this year as well.
To make the cherry on top, MH wilds is coming out next year, MH's 20th anniversary announcement is march 12, and GBF is having a 10th anniversary announcement on march 10th. Anything can happen right now. Damn the stars are aligning these couple years for monster hunting games.
Hopefully a rouge-like gamemode (that lets you progressively get stronger the longer you hunt and let you restart that growth everytime you play a new hunt) gets implemented in these hunting based games so I can rabidly replay the game. I'm so sick of these endgame stick-and- carrot power growth chase these developers keep offering us at endgame to make us keep playing the game. I just want a gamemode that is even more replayable in these hunting genre games, that's all I want at the end.

I still love this game and love the grind, very casual and comfy....BUT YOU RIGHT! if the dlc fights cant bring something more substantial or the devs cant make a more streamlined set of goals ALONMGSIDE the gacha rolls....this game will die and that's a shame cause i still love it

I love this game and am still quite addicted, but I can see your issues. I am trying to max out my 7th terminus weapon, and having to level EVERY weapon in the game to max as well as trying to get silver centrums.... not even including the sigil leveling.... yeah... I see what you mean.

I have about the same amount of time as you, and I think I like the game a bit more than you, but I 100% agree with your gripes with the game. I also have another significant complaint though. The auto-aim is absolute trash. I've never seen a game wrest control away from me to auto aim at an enemy behind me that I won't even hit because it's too high up vertically until now.
Omfg how could I forget to complain about it. I think it's because I just got used to how horrible it was. Huge oversight though.

As a person that comes from the gatcha, the drop rates are actually not as bad compared to that. One of your resources that you need a TON of called eternity sand has about a 0.2% drop rate. Yeah.... I'll take terminus weapon 10% drop rate thank you.
Also sierocarte is super annoying, agreed. You can lower the volume on the setting for dialogue saved me a headache and a half.
Cag mains unite! They might take our good matchmaking, but they will never take our will to charge collapse 😅

Even if you get good stuff from the gatcha if you don't grind A LOT everything you got from the gatcha will be useless.
@@SolaceAndDreadGacha is actually easy since they give super huge discount 3x a year for spark. The real enemy is grind hell, Even Relink grind is like 5% out of 100 of og game.
@@SolaceAndDreadpulling for characters is easy. But building a good equipment loadout (aka where the sigil system derives from) is where the real grind is as the core weapons require a lot of resources from the repeated quests.
Relink is literally the gacha experience, both story and endgame, repurposed for consoles with much more generous drop rates

As a Narmaya main...seeing all the videos and pics of all the downs hurts. Why can't you dodge it's like gohan from dbz. I feel like supplemental damage is a trap. Either your too arrogant and think your that good to not get hit or you see online builds saying this is the best and follow it. Though there are the 5% who can absolutely do it. I refuse to give up my defensive sigils for 20% more damage when I can have utility. Overall having alot of fun with the game. Though the only burnout I feel is Fortitude crystals and Silver Centrums.
The silver centrum grind is crazy. They were merciless...

I've seen worse drop rates, I got all the Terminus weapons in 15-20 hours. But yeah, end game is more shallow than the most shallow Monater Hunter. Hopefully the updates starting this month adds more.

I have killed proto bahamut nearly 30 times after 80 + hours in game and I didn't know mashing buttons got you revived faster.
I'm glad to have shared this. The worst part now is when you see someone dead you can see whether or not they're mashing. Now you're always gonna look 😂

The only reason I believe you is because one it's Japanese game. Of course it's going to be grindy and I've played the mobile game and after playing through the story through this, I'm only on chapter 9 around 11:35. I realize hey this place oddly, similar to the mobile game, the only difference is the way that it's been presented to you, which is great. The way the play style is way better but you are essentially doing the same thing. The end game of that game is fighting raid bosses to drop weapons to fill out your weapon grade and you're essentially doing the same thing here. Since every weapon gives you pretty much all their passes. You're just every new content is going to be a new raid this new weapons to fill out your weapon grid. I guess you can argue monster Hunter is literally the same structure. You're hunting these creatures to get a new weapons and armor. But I'm not mad about it because I've been wanting them to bring the mobile game to us forever and we never got it. All we got was the anime and a fighting game so this is the closest I'm going to get to getting that mobile game. I'm okay with it. I just wish the main character had. They kind of built them to be able to fill in every role. Because of the mobile game you could literally pick any class he wanted fantasy classes but in this game since there is no class system, main character doesn't really have a class. Instead they just had a set of skills that allows them to fill amy role. But yeah, I was pretty much the same thing to answer. If you don't like the end game most of her or the original mobile game, you're going to hate this. Nothing beats Korean MOs when it comes to crying, but Japanese algaes have been notoriously grindy even when you're applying for regular between sometimes for this stuff. Of course you take a break to grind a little bit or something but at least it's not as bad as a Korean in the mall though. They just completely disrespectful to your time

There is a reason why the mobile game is called grindblue fantasy by the fanbase, as someone that played the original game for more than 7 years i can say, the grind in relink is child's play lol

The really rare sigils are the same thing as chasing perfect decos in MHW or perfect charms in MHR. You dont need perfect everything. Those things just exist for the people who want stuff to grind for.
I see so many people setting insane goals for themselves (get all terminus/get multiple good supp V+) and burning themselves out because they think they should be able to get bis everything in like 100-200 hours. Its insane. That stuff is designed to be things you get over a very long time, or stuff that is actually just rare things that not everyone is going to get.
I have 140+ hours. 1 war elemental, like 3 or 4 supp Vs, 0 supp V+, 4 terminus weapons. I try out whatever characters I get terminus weps and character sigils for. Upgrade their stuff while playing them and see if I like them. Then do proto until I get another wep and try another character.
One step at a time. Pace myself. Not GRIND PROTO NONSTOP UNTIL I HAVE ALL TERMINUS because that will just make me hate it. Just like if I did the same in any other game would make me hate that game.
Let's not pretend this is anything even close to the depth and variety late MH games have. It's not even in the same ballpark.
After like 180+ hours i NEVER got 1 Supplementary Damage V. >.> I love and hate this game. I loved playing with my friends but i hated multiplayer and terminus weapon drops were indeed booty cheeks.

I don’t see any issue with drop rates, just farm curios in maniac/proud difficulties instead of low difficulty stages and you will get plenty of supp V.
Also terminus weapons drop rate isn’t as bad as people make it seem. There is like a 15-20% chance to drop a weapon per kill and the stage is just a dps check without any hard mechanic to overcome.
If you played 180 hours and didn’t get any single supp V it probably just means you are farming curios in the wrong stages
I got 3 Sup V's and it's not that "great" 3 slots to give 20% more damage is a bit brutal.
Warmasters and Glass Cannon(with Stoic Heart) is amazing
Start farming in maniac-proud difficulties. If you are farming in Extreme I highly doubt you will get one. I got mine from farming Slimepede/black&white dragon quests.

your problem sounds like a playstation problem not a PC problem, the PC doesn't DC so often very rare and no weird ass bugs like you encountered

If you complain about randoms... really. Not everyone knows the unspoken rules. No one knows especially when they do it for the first time. Yes, it is annoying. But don't be a dick about. It took me a while to realize those rules too.
Remember the term... UNSPOKEN rules.
the only "unspoken" rule is proto bahamut. There's honestly no reason for people to be in the endgame and not block, wear dangerous sigils because a youtube video told them to or not know to mash out of death. none. yeah, a little sternness is warranted.
@@SolaceAndDread I mean, there are always not so good players. Randoms are always a mix of skilled and newbies or just down right not good at the game. I get what you mean. Still, shouldn't get hung up. Lose a game? Just start another round or stick with your buddies. Shouldn't have any expectations from randoms to begin with.
@@PrimeChaosVCAgree with this, even in monhun there's still many poor randoms in endgame not only in this game. You can't really expect on them, just move on and you soon surely can play with decent team, I have been in ramdoms for monhun for few years and this for 200hours(tho I solo first before joining coop), it's not really that bad.

My pet peeve is rolling for BiS over mastery. I've rolled millions of MSP trying to get 20 crit/20 normal cap/20 skill cap.
I thought I would be optimizing great dodge cancel tech. Instead I'm optimizing hitting execute roll, into hit confirming no crit into cancel.
