Good Morning Ausia! I agree that the movie was really good and that it was pretty sad. I hope you can find a body worker to help you with your healing process. Lots of awesome Yoga stretches for the back on UA-cam as well. Sending you good vibes, luv! 💞🌻☕
EVAPORATION. Amazing. But as sad as one movie was. It took alot of happy moments to make it. AND WE MET YOU WATCHING WAY BEFORE THE MOVIE. I think it gives many hope that there is a place for everyone and opened eyes to the posibility of family other than blood relations.
I feel ya ... after 2 back surgery’s it’s hard to figure out what to do 😕 Then like magic your Up and at it 😎🐾☮️❤️ Cool migration of the winter birds ✅
Hello Ausia, I hope you have a Radiation detector with you where ever you go in the deserts, Our government did a lot of Radiation experiments using the deserts in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and California deserts. Better safe than sorry. Take care and be safe as you go on your life's journey.
I hope your feeling better now. 💓 I agree with your comment about the movie. I felt it just portrayed the negative side of nomadic life. I know by watching your videos and others it's not always that way
Hello Asia and MooMoo, Hope you feeling better with your back. So beautiful on the trail neat name. I think the birds are Grain's and there suppose to hang in big groups and when they leave they all go together it is pretty Cool. So awesome about the owls so interesting. Well i saving for my traveling. Van build in waiting it should take me about a year hopefully less see how it goes.So beautiful i reall i hope to get out there God willing in Jesus name Amen. Ok be safe take care Feel Better. Love the camp 🔥 . MooMoo looks awesome.great go pro ok take care be safe God Bless. Happy Traveling. Gloria feel better.
Ausia, I had also your back problem and had to start the work out for some back muscles. The one work out who made me very good was the parachutist position wich consist of with your belly on the ground try to lift your arms and legs remaining only the belly in contact with the ground. This exercise made wonders with me and I still do it even now I don't have backpains. Hope this is useful to you.
Seriously ..... You need to go and get an adjustment from a Chiropractor ....... waiting it out will only do damage .... I know because --- I've been there --- done that ....... there are a lot of Chiropractors that are not the grab and jerk types ... they have a small wand that they use ..... I was happy to hear that you were doing so stretching .... that has always helped me ...... Hugs and get better soon .... !!!
I would apply heat, and take Ibuprofen for your back. You can alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain. Sleep with a pillow between your knees to keep your spine straighter. Hopefully you're feeling better. Stay well. 😊👍
Girl, take it from a 50 year Pro. Who spent 20 years with NBC-TV. Stick the dead cat on top of the foam. Have both in place. Use rubber bands or superglue if you have to. And while it might look goofy. It'll do the job. I might be inclined to deal with it in other ways, for myself. But that would be the way I would go about, the first step. It comes down to not one or the other but both, simultaneously. When you are in those great Southwest nonstop wind's. Third recommendation. Get yourself a microminiature, solid-state audio recorder. A really small one. And positioning it under your blouse. Then you will have your intimate narrative soundtrack much more isolated. No matter where you are. No matter whether you turn your back to the camera or not. It's easy to synchronize with the audio track from the Go Pro. Then you will have both soundtracks you can mix between. And you've just upped, your professionalism. You will have a more cohesive better quality sounding, soundtrack. Then you take your whole track and put it to a dynamic range compressor and/or limiter. Add a little extra low-frequency rolloff. Add a little extra upper midrange boost. It brings out the intelligibility better. Greater clarity. I'll show you how to do it when we get together one day. It's really simple. I've been doing it for over 40 years. Before we had digital. Now it's so much easier. And the best part is. We are both a pair of Sisters. In so many ways. Through marriage. To change. Through our food preferences. And you seem to be incredibly practical just like myself. In the end I would love to become a member of your tribe if we are of compatible swords. Which I believe we are. And I have a consistent income. And then I also do this recording thing. And TV shows. That make it to the network and/or get major award nominations. That means, future contracts. And guaranteed income. We would have so much more fun. Guaranteed. RemyRAD
Sorry your back is still acting up. Good to see you up and moving. If this had to happen I guess it’s better that you aren’t at you home property. Temptation to do to much would be running hot there. Keep mending and stay well.
Hi Ausia, Sorry about your back. You should be taking ibuprofen now for the inflammation(not on an empty stomach)plus use heat and ice alternating every 15 minutes. ALWAYS END ON ICE. Walmart pharmacy has inexpensive, reusable hot and cold packs. Hope this helps. ♡♡♡
Hey Ausia, Glad you are on the mend. I always enjoy your videos and watching your adventures. You sure have alot of nice friends. I'm curious about whether some of these are friends from school or all nomad friends you've made along the way. Safe travels! ❤
Ausia I have the same type of back issues and sleeping with this wedge along with using a heating pad on my lower back every time I sit or lay down has helped so so much to speed recovery, along with lidocaine patches. If you are a side sleeper, there is a different wedge for that. You might also think about a standing desk so you can sit or stand while you work on your computer.
Lie on your back, then pull on leg up to your chest then push it over to the opposite side and press down a couple of times, then repeat on the other side. Do it every day, It might just work, it usually does ❤ xx
Hope you get well soon. That GoPro 9 is really nice. You haven’t done any of your star lapses in a very long time. Hope you do some in the future..stay safe...⛄️
Ausia I am sorry you are having to go through a back injury. I understand I injured my back years ago. I have had 7 back surgeries to get where I am now. You can purchase a sitting mat at Walmart that helps me a lot for travel days and just sitting for extended periods. It is in the seen on TV section. I will be praying for you to have a full recovery. My injury started with a fall than I was hit by a car in the grocery store parking lot walking back to my car which caused major damage.
hello moomo0 baby! I got a new casita and want to hang with your tribe a few days if that would be ok. Maybe next summer??? I never lived in a travel trailer and will keep my house a while. retiring soon!!! YES! I have a lot to learn about living small and as a nomad. I hope you feel better soon. Should I send perks? lol!
I love that trail walk! It is so pretty! It's crazy how the water can go down so quick. I wonder if there is a dam or irrigation that does that. I hope your drive to Quartzsite wasn't too painful. Have you tried leaning your seat back so your not sitting straight up? I know that helps me when my back is giving me problems. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.
Being on an ATV can make things worse. I had one a couple of years ago but had to get rid of it as it messed up my back. 😔Love your videos Ausia💖hope your feeling better soon🥰
I have found the sciatic nerve exercises really helpful before and after sitting to ease pain in my lower back not sure where your back hurts but feel for ya : ( hope you heal soon back pain sure sucks the happiness of of life lol You are doing good to get any videos out kudos to U
Ausia really do wish i was there to help you with back prob . As i said last time ive got a wrecked back but i also know a few things that would help but being so far away im not able to do anything i truly hope you get to fill better real soon oh and get yourself a massage pad that you can put on your set while you are driveing make sure it has heat also it will help i promis you just let it work and dont give up . Wishing you the best .
Check out a tailbone pillow.. it has a spot cut out in the back.. they are great for driving too. I got mine at bed and bath but i think Walmart has them too.
I am so sorry you are having severe back pain!! It sounds like a pinched nerve. If you have not had relief yet, it may be time to have it looked at before your muscles stiffen up to compensate for the injury. So sorry... teri / Alaska
Oops forget to tell you that I had a a metal bar put in a hallway that I can hang from . Just to reach up and gently hang and let the pressure off your vertebrae and put a little space between them can help you a lot maybe you could have a bar put in somewhere in your motorhome or storage trailer. My bar is just high enough that I can barely touch the floor with tithe toes or heal. It's so relieving for pain.
#248 Good morning, Ausia. I see you were riding in a Winnebago Trend 23L, what do you think of that RV? I drive a 23B model, myself. My fuel economy on a cross country trip is 15.3 to 15.7 miles per gallon. A very fuel efficient rig.
Ausia, I don't know if someone has already mentioned it but there is a special pillow for your seat called a donut. It helps take pressure off your spine and will help you to sit with less pain. Feel better!
Sounds like you could use a good chiropractor. Until then, when you lay down, use a pile of rolled up bath towels & heavy clothes rolled up, with any available folded blankets, with any kind of pillows on top to have thighs at a 90° angle to a flat back, with lower legs resting on the pile & fall asleep or watch a show. This takes pressure off the lower back. Smoke some weed if you can, to help relax your muscles. After a nap or resting an hour or so, while laying on bed, legs raised up @ 90°, lower legs resting on pile of blankets, etc, & it really helps take some of the pressure off pinched nerves & muscles, so swelling may be reduced if you keep doing that. While lying down, try bringing one leg at a time up to your chest, wrap arms around shin & hold a while. Lift head up to try to touch knee to forehead & then alternate. Once up, try alternating one leg in front of the other & try to do deep squats to open up pelvis area.Hang Try holding onto something so you can focus on stretching the muscles around the thighs & lower back. Try bending from waist & put your hands on your bed or a car seat, shift upper weight onto your fore arms while lowering your torso forward, & try to rest a while. Then try leaning on your driver's seat, or chair, head down & stretch upper back & slowly turn head. You may feel tightness in your neck or head. Try rotating head slowly. Put forearms & head down on driver's seat or chair & try leg lifts, & one at a time, rotate feet at ankles. Invent more ways to stretch neck, torso,& legs. Hope you can keep trying to stretch it out until you can get to a chiroptactor. If you can soak in a hot tub, or sauna regularly, that might help too. Try resting on one side, then the other, with body bent at hips & knees at right angles, as if sitting in a chair. Then stretch out one leg & then the other. Try stretching your pelvis muscles & lower back in any position that seems to reach source of pain or tightness. Hope these & similar stretches help to realign your neck & lower back. You can then try bending forward & hanging like that a while. Maybe try holding onto ankles, lower legs pressed up against an imovable object like a bed. Rotate head & try to point chin up & alternate. You may hear clunks as your body realigns, but keep doing it. Warm, moist heat helps. Good luck.
Sorry about your back pain, hope you get better soon, from my family experience I know that these supplements are good for back pain and would be worth your while to research them: Devils Claw, Magnesium,Omega 3, White Willow Bark, Vitamin D-3 and Alma in place of Vitamin C, these supplements have had very good results on my family members who have experienced extreme back pain in the past, best wishes ❤️
And now than the typical thing to do. There is this thing called a high pass filter. Which really means a low bass cut off filter. Allowing higher frequencies to pass. And so on really breezy days you and select 100-150-200-250 of high pass filtering or low-frequency rolloff. Then you turn on the thing called the limiter. In that order. Not reverse order. And it will make all the difference. These selections are available in your laptop, smart phone, tablet. It's really there. It just takes so many like me to show you how to do it. You need a good chiropractor, back cruncher. It can make a world of difference. But you have to find the right one. I did but years away he moved and retired. Ouch. We are not going to get away without meeting up one day. I'll bring everybody dinner. Fried chicken or pizza or both? How about Chinese food? Just soft drinks or beer also? I want to hit the ground! Not running but driving. And I shall be prepared. 20 years of network television did that to me. It's all their fault I'm grateful for. Love your channel. Follow you everywhere. One day I'm going to have to cut you off at the pass. Wherever I have to pass into? Say hi it's me! I brought food and fun. Can I tag along? Whenever I can get out of Texas. Where I'm currently stuck. RemyRAD
Hey Ausia and Moo-moo. I am so sorry your back is still giving you a hard time. But at least you have Jeff the Driver, and he also carries Moo-moo. Cool! haha, Love the videos. Thanks for taking me with you. Love you and Moo-moo Stay safe
Magnesium oil for message it relaxes the muscles and try a zero gravity chair lowes sells them for travel hop this helps. Back on track sells back brace and blanket that h as s fir infrared technology healing I have both.. I'm 69 years old and take no meds for my back I just have these things in my arsenal as a shipbuilder for 45 years crawling around on submarines lifting pulling as an electrician left me in lots of pain....but I'm good now hope this helps
Go on line and get yourself a Tens Unit for your pain and look up exercises for the area of your back that is hurting such as Sacram, Lumbar, Hip, etc. also use Ice Pack 2 or 3 times a day. Exercise is good if you do not overdo it and don’t do any exercise that gives you pain. Sorry you are hurting. If you get a Tens Unit be sure to look up where NOT to use it on your body such as directly on your spine. What about a Chiropractor? Blue Van Dan goes to one somewhere over there.
I have an old back injury and I totally understand when it goes out, bam! It knocks you down for awhile. Those muscles take time to regain strength and you learn to completely slow down or you will be down longer. It’s good that you have close friends that can help you out. Take care and safe travels👍
How as a group do you monitor Covid exposure...are there any agreements with each other about isolation if exposed, anyone keeping track if a member gets sick? Has anyone in group reported covid or being positive? Ausia, how will you drive for any length of time re all the sitting...truck drivers always have back issues...good for you for always being a good walker
Great capture of the flame dancer with good music in back ground That 2nd trail was beautiful Glad to see Teri & Scot for a second Say "hello" for me So sorry for you going thru yoiur back pain but you are making the best of it Hope it feels better real soon HUGS for yoiu and love pats for Moo Moo Take care of yourself my friend
I hope for better days and less back pain for you this year. Yes I empathise with what your going through. You are a precious soul. I've been through a couple of years of on and off again back pain. Hope you find a therapy that works. On top of stretching and walking, I now avoid foods that cause inflammation, even limiting sugar intake. Good to be able to hike and garden again. Yes being a nomad has allowed for lots of exploration and Great camaraderie. Some happiness and moments that I bet that story will not show.
Sending up prayers for a speedy recovery ...back pain is the worst! Sending you much love and a virtual hug! Safe travels! Thank you for the lovely videos! I always enjoy!

Seriously ..... You need to go and get an adjustment from a Chiropractor ....... waiting it out will only do damage .... I can hear you fine!
I would apply heat, and take Ibuprofen for your back. You can alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain. Sleep with a pillow between your knees to keep your spine straighter. Hopefully you're feeling better. Stay well. 😊👍
i hope you get well soon; it's a bummer to have that injury when you have to drive places

Guaranteed.

Sorry for your pain... Wishing you a speedy recovery !
Someone said the Renpho cordless handheld back massager from Amazon is really good.
Hoping for your back to recover quickly!
Why don't Terri and Scott put out videos anymore?
It's OK if they are taking a break putting out Vid's. Just so we know they are OK. !

Deuce Terry and Scott still have their dog Ed does caravan Caroline still have her cat?
Do you have sciatica?
L-4 & L-5 discs are usually the ones that cause problems..
Those birds are noisey.
Poor Ausia!! Painful to sit for any duration and yet you've gotta drive. I hope you're faring well! Thank you and puppy-hugs to MooMoo!
Hi Ausia. Glad to see you up and around. Hope you're all better soon. Hi Moo Moo.
#248 Good morning, Ausia. I see you were riding in a Winnebago Trend 23L, what do you think of that RV? I drive a 23B model, myself. My fuel economy on a cross country trip is 15.3 to 15.7 miles per gallon. A very fuel efficient rig.
Did you try what I suggested.? It will feel better.
Tried to watch nomadland but it doesn’t come out till the middle of February! You must have gotten an early screening of it.
Ausia, I don't know if someone has already mentioned it but there is a special pillow for your seat called a donut. It helps take pressure off your spine and will help you to sit with less pain. Feel better!
so true.... looks like a reverse toilet seat only with the front space of the toilet seat in the back... on Amazon.... about $35. IT WORKS
After a nap or resting an hour or so, while laying on bed, legs raised up @ 90°,
lower legs resting on pile of blankets, etc, & it really helps take some of the pressure off pinched nerves & muscles, so swelling may be reduced if you keep doing that.
While lying down, try bringing one leg at a time up to your chest, wrap arms around shin & hold a while. Lift head up to try to touch knee to forehead & then alternate.
Once up, try alternating one leg in front of the other & try to do deep squats to open up pelvis area.Hang
Try holding onto something so you can focus on stretching the muscles around the thighs & lower back.
Good luck.
Say hey to Scott &Terry for me! And Pumpkin too!😊🐎
what rendering software are you using? Wow, they already have the GoPro 9 out? I am still using my GoPro 4 Silver. LOL Greetings from Nashville, TN.

The birds are celebrating their little lives. They sound so busy and happy with themselves. Cute! I hope they always have this water to come to.

Hi Ausia, and Moo-moo. Good to see you, hope you feel better soon. Onward Bound.
Hey Ausia, I hope you get better soon! Take it easy, but have fun.
Looks like Moo Moo is getting extra love this walk.

I have an old back injury and I totally understand when it goes out, bam! It knocks you down for awhile. Those muscles take time to regain strength and you learn to completely slow down or you will be down longer. It’s good that you have close friends that can help you out. Take care and safe travels👍
It's so common! Most of us suffer in silence.

I’m glad your back is better. Prayers for healing.
It was a movie vs a documentary.
Glad you’re feeling better.
They always say ; "motion is lotion". Take care
