Looks like the same kidnapper as in your previous kidnap video. It's fascinating wondering what their (the kidnappers) motives are. Is it a dark side of macaque life? Spooky. It's sad to watch Big Bertha having to always be on guard, never knowing when the kidnapper is going to bounce on them. Not real helpful for Georgie either. Mom is to afraid to let go, or let Georgie get to far away. When at his age now they are walking, starting to climb, and meeting their cousins for a short unstable romp. But Georgie is beginning to fight harder to get away from his stalker, and hopefully outside of enforcing her ranking with Big Bertha will lose interest in Georgie and move on and back to bullying younger juveniles. We can hope anyway!!

That kidnapper must profile and know who she can get away with stealing from. I know this mom is doing a good job staying with her and trying to get baby back, but I just feel like some moms would flat out fight, injure, or maim the kidnapper. I guess it is the more agressive ones that would do that or the higher ranking ones that would have lieutenants, followers, and other peers who wouldn't allow the kidnapping to begin with (unless kidnapper is of very high rank / outranks ever one around at the time?). I just find this one so fascinating.

That would be very, very unlikely to happen..the females in a troop are often all somewhat related to each other (unless there are many separate matrilines)..female macaques usually stay in the group they are born into so they are all very familiar with each other in the very least...and unless under very severe conditions they would be highly unlikely to kill another troop member like this...that is why they live in troops..to protect each other! They might squabble or be mean sometimes to each other but to kill another would be very detrimental to the social working of the whole group. Besides, it is normal for young females this age to do this..it is "aunting" behavior and it is theorized that this is how they experience infant handling..they find that the more exposure to infants a juvenile like this Kidnapper has to infants the better mother she becomes later on. She is not hurting the baby at all and is not doing it to be evil or cause any harm!

Selly has a patch of white hair or missing hair over her right eyebrow & Selly's tuft of hair on the top is Brown & Selly's nipples are mainly dark with a little pink tip on the left nipple. The Mami in this video has a tuft of black hair on the head, There is no white patch of missing hair over the right eyebrow, this Mami's arm hair is closer to black & Selly's arm hair is light brown & the Mami in this video has different nipples than Selly...just my observations...What do you guys think? And, I asked Schhun to please tell us what names he has chosen for this Mami & baby.....And, this video is in Jade/Amber's group not Crabzilla's group....I hope this helps 💞
That happens when they're brand new born but that's about it. But people that suggest that this is a sexual thing are outof their fucking minds. There have been some studies done by the Chinese regarding the barbary macaques having sexual attention to infant males. But this mother seems to mouth all over the baby, not the genitals exclusively
