none of the solutions in any video were working for me but you can still access the in game settings even with the black screen. i changed my output scaling in game and it doesnt crash or black screen anymore hopefully this helps someone

Thank you, it worked. I had the black screen in Demon's Souls and only the menus and UI were visible. This setup fixed it.

I really need some help here, so the other day i was playing some sly trilogy when i needed to go to bed, so i turned off everything, then the other day my games werent in the right place(they were in my brothers user paste for some reason) then i put them back and tried to play, and now my game is always in black screen, and ive watched milions of videos and i cant solve it, so if somebody could have the answer il be happy as hell

in some cases atm having a ps4 usb controller plugged in while launching games will cause blk screen . so just unplug controller to launch then plug it back in once loaded .

You need to try different settings. I had flickering and black screen on first of the north star, now changing some settings it works like a charm. Just try and you will get the result
