Hi, I am trying to download uncharted 3 onto my PC which is a ps3 game I'm downloading the rom right now but have been having problems with how to put the game into the emulator after it is downloaded is this breezip still a good method now?
I have a friend, good ol Vimmy, he knows where to get the good stuff, i see you're also Vimmys friend, he also has a Lair, something like a mancave where he holds all of his treasures :)
I extracted the files using 7zip and tried dragging the files into the emulator and it says "nothing to add" "Could not find any new software" please help!
@@Kiko8823 you just have to extract the iso file of the game as well. so you download the rar file, you extract it, then extract the file that is extracted again
Try booting the game by just selecting File option at the top left and select "Boot Game." Then select the folder that you extracted and that is what worked for me.

@@jamesmanny-w4j when you download a PS3 "ROM" you get a .iso file, that's a disc image file that you can mount on windows. Once mounted, you have to literally copy and paste the contents of the .iso somewhere else on your PC, then you drag and drop the contents you just copied on the emulator UI. That's what was done in this video.

Don't tell anyone I said this, but I noticed the people involved with creating these awesome emulators are terrible at communicating how to actually use the emulators.
You have to rename the folder inside the extracted ps3 game title folder to "PS3_GAME" if it is just named "GAME" and you must also rename the .SFB file to "PS3_DISC.SFB"

the program worked for me 3 months ago and i was able to add and play an iso. But now ive been trying to add and run a new game and no luck with various errors and when i went to seek help from the discord one of the testers in the help channel basically shunned me for asking a question and was berating other users for not responding fast enough. Id love some assistance if anyone could actually help me because all these guide videos and reddit threads have gotten me nowhere in the last day.

I have an issue with mgs4 where it skips every couple of seconds and when it does i see a disc with a question mark appear for a split second and disappears. I have it installed on a samsung 980 pro so it's not a speed issue on my end. I am also using a verified redump iso. Maybe it's just a recommended setting that is causing it. Anyone else experience this? My specs a Rog Strix G18 with a 13980hx and RTX 4080 Mobile.

Gotta go into the main file and select just the game file drag and drop into rspc3
I had to right click and mount the iso which makes it a virtual dvd. Once I pulled a file from there over to rpcs3 it worked for me.

Once mounted, you have to literally copy and paste the contents of the .iso somewhere else on your PC, then you drag and drop the contents you just copied on the emulator UI. That's what was done in this video.

What worked for me is either redumped or encrypted. Check out a video titled "RPCS3 Booting failed" for all the necessary info.

RPCS3's insistence on ripping your own disc is so bizare to me. Why the hell would I be emulating the game if I had a disc?
Because you may want the convenience of a file, that boots up instantly on a PC. Some people are also averse to pirating .

You need JB Folder isos. NI and RD isos will not work.

@@Teta906 Nevermind I got it to work. RPCS3 only accepts JB Folders. If you download PS3 Roms from Vimm's, you select the JB Folder format.

I've never heard of adding a console. RPCS3 is a PS3-only emulator. Once you have RPCS3 installed, you only need to add games to it.
